David Koechner at an event for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013)
'Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse' Preview Starring David Koechner | Exclusive
David Koechner at an event for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013)
David Koechner sheds some new light on his character Scout Leader Rogers in our exclusive preview from Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, which is currently available on Digital HD before arriving on Blu-ray and DVD January 5. While Rogers starts out as your average, exuberant scout leader, it doesn't take long for him to become one of the living dead in this outrageous comedy. As the actor explains in our exclusive preview, Rogers becomes a "Terminator zombie" who keeps popping up over and over again.

Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse stars Tye Sheridan, Logan Miller and newcomer Joey Morgan star as three Scouts and lifelong friends, who join forces with one bad-ass cocktail waitress (Halston Sage) to become the world's most unlikely team of heroes. When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they'll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to...

[Review] Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse
What is there to say about Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse that its title doesn’t say? At first glance, it seems to be the perfect picture for seventeen-year-olds who have just earned a driver’s license and the freedom to see it without a parent or adult guardian. However, it’s likely most seventeen-year-olds looking for an R-rated comedy have grown out of the brand of humor this one attempts to deliver.

Directed by Christopher Landon (Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones) from a script by Landon, Lona Williams, Emi Mochizuki and Carrie Lee Wilson, it provides exactly what you’d expect: blood, gore, boobs, and nature hikes. Its sexual politics are only slightly more evolved than those truly weird 80s horror films Agfa and the Alamo Drafthouse are preserving. Here we get a zombie attack by oral sex, zombie boobs, and one silly gag that I admit had...

Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse Review
While it’s no surprise that a zombie comedy loaded with beat-pounding electronica isn’t exactly canon Romero, the reckless abandon that Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse shows towards genre mythos is asinine, yet admirable(ish). Writers Emi Mochizuki, Carrie Evans, Christopher Landon, and Lona Williams couldn’t care less about undead continuity, as they flesh out a strobe-lit, gooey debauchery in the vein of a much more immature Zombieland. Think American Pie meets Dance Of The Dead, where director Christopher Landon (pulling double duty) goes style over substance into levels of zombie-stripping, head-exploding madness. True horror junkies are going to be crying foul after every unexplained walker detail, but younger fans enamored by gratuitous death sequences will probably be laughing too hard to care as Dillon Francis’ head transforms into a bloody mist.

Side note: If you don’t know what a Dillon Francis is, or if you...

'Scouts Guide' Clip Uses Britney Spears to Subdue a Zombie
Britney Spears
Can you kill a zombie with Britney Spears music? The Walking Dead would have us believe that zombies are unthinking murder machines that can't be stopped by anything except a sharp blade or bullet to the head. So it's always fun to see a twist to that conceit. We'll be getting a slightly different take on the overcrowded Living Dead genre in this weekend's Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. And the latest clip from the movie teases that this will be a blood-soaked blast.

Ben, Carter and Augie are three way-ward American Scouts who have found themselves teamed up with Denise, a kick-ass strip club waiter who knows her way around shooting an animated corpse in the head. Attempting to save themselves from an onslaught of the living dead, they encounter a creeping ghoul who wants to eat their flesh. Augie attempts to dominate the sub-species with some of his Scouting skills,...

Nsfw Clip For Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse Is Gleefully Violent
It’s almost two weeks to the day until Halloween, and Paramount Pictures is getting into the holiday spirit a little ahead of schedule with the riotous, decidedly Nsfw clip for Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, which can be seen at Coming Soon.

Uniting a trio of bumbling survivors together – namely Tye Sheridan, Logan Miller and Joey Morgan – with Halston Sage’s no-nonsense cocktail waitress, the delightfully violent R-rated comedy tasks the unlikely heroes with, well, surviving a zombie apocalypse. Stumbling into an eerily vacant strip club, our hapless protagonists soon find themselves face to face with a member of the undead, with hilarity and serious bloodshed ensuing.

Directed by Christopher B. Landon (Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones), Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse harbors a light-hearted sense of fun amidst the violence and flesh-munching. Based on a script from Emi Mochizuki & Carrie Evans, it would be easy to...

'Scouts Guide' Clip Fights Off a Zombie Stripper Apocalypse
Tony Gardner, David Koechner, Sarah Dumont, and Tye Sheridan in Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015)
When the apocalypse happens, of course the first place you're going is the local strip club. Two scout friends do just that in the latest red band look at Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. While one of them goes to the Atm for cash, the other finds a spot in the mostly deserted watering hole. Neon lights shine on an empty stage. There are no other patrons left in the building...Or are there?

What starts out as an uneventful night for three Boy Scouts turns into a fight for survival in Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. This blood-soaked clip contained a lot of top shelf nudity, and isn't meant for anyone under the age of 18. Just as the zombie stripper goes to make her deadly move, one of the Scouts makes it rain dollar bills. This sends the undead woman to the stripper pole, where she carries out her usual routine.

'Scout's Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse' Clip Unleashes Killer Cats
Tony Gardner, David Koechner, Sarah Dumont, and Tye Sheridan in Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015)
Formerly titled Scouts Vs Zombies, Paramount Pictures has released the first spooky clip from their horror comedy Scout's Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. Paramount won't have a panel presence at this year's Comic-Con, but they're proving you don't really need one if you have a cool sneak peek that pulls some of the thunder away from the San Diego convention center. And this short clip certainly does, if only for a second or two. We also get the first poster, which offers a unique take on the Swiss Army Knife.
