For lifelong cinephiles, the kinds of folks determined to experience as many movies as the medium has to offer before they hit the soil, revisits are an extravagance. Sometimes, they're essential. Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might isn’t exactly the strongest Dragon Ball movie within this franchise, but it still managed to bring some heat to the table. This low-key character has surprisingly captured many of our hearts as it has a strikingly interesting backstory, a clear resemblance to Goku, and some slick fighting skills. Image
Quick Links The Far Side Was Not Just a Comic Tales From The Far Side Is Worth Watching Tales From The Far Side Had a Hidden Sequel Where To Watch Tales From The Far Side

Gary Larson's Tales from The Far Side marked a definitive moment for Larson's strip. Known for its art style, eerie settings, and often confusing jokes, the comic strip quickly grew to become a worldwide phenomenon. Nearly 2,000 newspapers published the strip at its height, and 4,000 panels were eventually released throughout its run. Larson is still publishing new releases to this day, though his output has decreased since the height of the comic's run.

With so much love and respect for his bizarre world, Larson did not just restrict his characters to the comic medium. In 1994, he agreed to create a made-for-tv special that would see his animated world brought to the small screen. Tales...

Venice 2015: 'Go With Me' review
★☆☆☆☆ Daniel Alfredson's appallingly bland backwoods drama Go With Me (2015) stars Anthony Hopkins as ex-logger Lester, who comes to the aid of harassed waitress Lillian (Julia Stiles). While Lester spends his evenings making garden ornaments in memory of his dead wife, Lillian is redecorating her dead mother's house. Trouble lurks in the hedgerows via stalker Blackway (Ray Liotta), who has already assaulted Lillian outside of her restaurant and decapitated her cat. The sheriff (Dale Wilson) proves worse than useless and suggests she go to find local Whizzer and ask for the help of his friend Scotty. Like a sneaky taxi driver the script takes us around the houses, rather than anywhere we want to go.

Whizzer (Hal Holbrook) doesn't know where his pal Scotty (Aaron Pearl) is but Lester, on an apparent whim, decides he will take up the mantle of Lillian's guardian angel. Not exactly moving with the lightning speed of an avenger,...

Jim Webb: The Reluctant Senator
Jim Webb rocketed to national stardom four years ago as the bold new face of the Democratic Party-but his moment was short lived. Peter J. Boyer on the real reason Webb is leaving the Senate.

The end of Jim Webb's senatorial career, with his announcement that he would not seek re-election in 2012, was far less surprising than the fact that Webb even had a senatorial career to end. He'd arrived in the Senate seeming ready to leave, having declared, in a 2006 debate with his Republican foe, George Allen, "When I go to my grave, whether I was a United States Senator or not is not gonna be high on my agenda."

MacGyver: Another TV Show Heads to the Big Screen
There are plans afoot to make yet another big-screen movie based on a popular cancelled TV show. This time around, it's MacGyver. Will this one fare any better than the rest?

MacGyver revolves around Angus MacGyver (Richard Dean Anderson), a intelligent action hero who prefers to utilize everyday items to get out of tough situations. He works for the Phoenix Foundation under the command of operative Pete Thornton (Dana Elcar). Recurring characters are played by Bruce McGill, Michael Des Barres, Elyssa Davalos, Robin Mossley, Susan Chapple, John Anderson, Teri Hatcher, Robert Donner, Dale Wilson, Bruce Harwood, Claire Brown, and Jackson Davies.

MacGyver has endured the test of time so the character's been revived several times. In 1994, he returned in "Lost Treasure of Atlantis" and "Trail to Doomsday".

Back in 2003, the WB network developed a pilot for a Young MacGyver series that starred Jared Padalecki (Supernatural) as MacGyver's nephew and protege,...
