Co-owner of Lone Wolf Media, Lisa Quijano Wolfinger has written, produced and directed a wide range of television programs and films, including episodic drama, high-end factual series, documentaries and narrative shorts. She is the co-creator and executive producer of Mercy Street, PBS's first original episodic drama in over ten years. Inspired by real people and events, the series goes beyond the front lines of the Civil War into the chaotic world of Union occupied Alexandria, Virginia. The series averaged a 3.0 national household rating, making it the second highest rated drama on PBS. Both seasons 1 and 2 garnered critical acclaim and had a loyal following.

Other notable work includes the critically acclaimed 3-hour docudrama special for The History Channel, "Desperate Crossing, the Untold Story of the Mayflower", nominated for 2 prime time Emmy awards. The 2-hour documentary, "Fire on the Mountain" was nominated for a News and Documentary Emmy and awarded the CINE Masters Series award. The 90-minute Salem Witch docudrama, titled "Witch Hunt" was nominated for a News and Documentary Emmy, and the docudrama mini-series, "Conquest of America" was nominated for a Primetime Emmy and won a Gold medal at the New York Festival. In 2017 Lisa was awarded a Gracie Award for her work on "Mercy Street" and her untiring efforts to offer women opportunities in the television industry. In 2020 her documentary series "America's Hidden Stories" won a News & Docs Emmy for Outstanding Lighting and Scenic Design.

Outside of Lone Wolf, Lisa works as a director for hire. She was the series director and senior producer for a 10 part drama series about the Revolutionary War titled, "Forged in Fire" for Discovery and Brook Lapping Productions. More recently she directed dramatic recreations for Paul Allen's Vulcan productions and Moreno/Lyons productions.

Lisa recently completed a documentary feature in collaboration with noted child psychologist, Dr. Ross Greene, called, "The Kids We Lose". The film explores how kids with behavioral challenges are misunderstood and mistreated by society. The film was informed by her own experiences as the mother of a child with behavioral challenges and was a deeply personal venture. The film won best Documentary at the New Hampshire Film Festival in 2018.

When Lisa isn't juggling dozens of projects simultaneously, she stays fit and sane by dancing and taking her dogs for extended walks on the beaches of southern Maine. Her dream is to retire to a villa in Tuscany - soon!
