Official Trailer for Volcano Disaster Movie 'Skyfire' with Jason Isaacs
Jason Isaacs, Xueqi Wang, and Hannah Quinlivan in Skyfire (2019)
"Nature doesn't love. Nor does it hate. It simple builds as it destroys." Screen Media Films has debuted an official US trailer for a volcano disaster action movie titled Skyfire, arriving on VOD in January after New Years. This is another of these epic Chinese movies that is made by a western filmmaker, even though it's made by and features a cast of mostly Chinese people. Tianhuo Island is as beautiful as a paradise. It almost makes people forget that it is located in the "Ring of Fire" the world-famous Pacific Rim volcanic belt. The volcano surprisingly erupts again, and it becomes a battle with nature to get off the island while fiery death and destruction rains down from the big mountain. Skyfire stars Jason Isaacs, Xueqi Wang, Hannah Quinlivan, Shayn Dou, Liang Shi, and Alice Rietveld. This looks a lot like Skyscraper, a very similar disaster plot setup with...

Stars: Xueqi Wang, Hannah Quinlivan, Shawn Dou, Jason Isaacs, An Bai, Lingchen Ji, Liang Shi | Written by Wei Bu, Sidney King | Directed by Simon West

“Don’t worry. I am quite hard to kill.”

Simon West – the visionary director behind one of the greatest films of all-time: Con Air – is back with more explosive action on screen in Skyfire … This time it’s volcanic action as an active volcano erupts way ahead of schedule, forcing the rapid evacuation of a theme park built around the exquisitely beautiful Tianhuo Island.

At a young age, Xiao Meng (Hannah Quinlivan) witnessed tragedy when Tianhuo erupted during a science mission led by her family. In the years since, Xiao Meng has grown up and pursued her own journey as a volcanologist, continuing the work started by her parents. With advancements in both technology and the understanding of volcanoes, Xiao Meng and her team are...
