Jin Xie was born on 21 November 1923 in Zhejiang, China. He was a director and writer, known for Hibiscus Town (1987), Legend of Tianyun Mountain (1980) and Two Stage Sisters (1964). He died on 18 October 2008 in Shangyu, Zhejiang Province, China.
