Dan Zeff is a Bafta award-winning Drama and Comedy director and screenwriter based in the UK.

His work has won three BAFTA awards and seven BAFTA and EMMY nominations.

He recently completed a 2hr installment of the ITV thriller series Grace (2021) starring John Simm.

Recent directing credits include the Christmas family comedies Gangsta Granny Strikes Again! (2022) for BBC and Hansel & Gretel: After Ever After (2021) for Sky. He also set up and opened the award-winning sci-fi thriller Silverpoint (2022) for Zodiak Kids/ZDF/CBBC.

Previous drama includes Eric, Ernie and Me (2017), his Bafta Winning Case Histories When Will There Be Good News? Part 1 (2011), The Queen and I (2018), Amazon Prime's The Collection (2016), Doctor Who (2005), and the critically acclaimed BBC dramas Consuming Passion (2008) (starring Olivia Colman, Jodie Whitaker and Daniel Mays), and Hattie (2011) (starring Ruth Jones) - still BBC4's highest rating drama.

Previous comedy credits include Inside No. 9 (2014), Siblings (2014), Pramface (2012), The Other One (2017) and Ideal (2005)
