Hyderabad, Jan 7: Singer-composer R.P. Patnaik, who had worked with late actor Uday Kiran, says he doesn't have the courage to attend the funeral scheduled to take place here Tuesday.

Uday reportedly committed suicide Sunday by hanging himself from the ceiling in his flat. He was 33.

Uday's last rites will be performed in the evening. His body is kept at the Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce for the public to pay their last respects.

"I don't think I have the courage to attend his funeral. I'm watching the proceeding on television and I feel so heavy listening to the songs I composed for him being played in.

Hyderabad, Jan 6: Reacting to the untimely death of Telugu actor Uday Kiran, who committed suicide here Sunday, celebrities like Vimala Raman, Priyamani and Prakash Raj shared their condolences on social networking platforms Twitter and Facebook.

Uday, 33, was found hanging from the ceiling in his flat.

Chennai, Sep 24: Singer-composer R.P. Patnaik, also known for directing Telugu films such as "Andamaina Manasulo" and "Broker", is set to release his first English film "Amy", which will come out Oct 1.
