Electronic dance music duo Groove Armada are planning to retire from live performances after their upcoming U.K. tour. Tom Findlay and Andy Cato formed the acclaimed act in the mid-1990s and they became a popular European festival draw - but the pair is quitting life on the road following their trek next month.
A statement from the duo reads, "We've crossed and re-crossed the world with this band and crew. There's no other team like it. With their help, Ga live became the sound of legendary nights from Mount Fuji to Moscow.
"It's not often in the spotlight maybe; but ask the people who have come and filled the tents and surrounded the stages for the last decade. A massive thanks to all of them, for staying with us." The duo's farewell tour kicks off in Leeds, England on October 7.

What we have here is, courtesy the venerable English electronica-and-more duo of Andy Cato and Tom Findlay ...

"The song we did called 'History' is a kind of Bronski Beat homage," Andy Cato told the Daily Star. "I had a few nights out with Will in Ibiza and he's just a brilliant singer, but obviously he does his commercial stuff which isn't exactly what we do. "But I found if you treat his voice in a different (more)...

The dance duo's new Ep is being given away on PAP4 via the method, which enables fans to listen to music for free by sharing it with others. Andy Cato told NME that he hopes the system will be picked up by other bands. "Our original idea was to make the music free, but one of the issues that Tom [Findlay] and I have about free music is that there's so much of it that (more)...
