Image
The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates reveal Hunter Tylo finally speaks out, and tells the real reason she stepped away from playing the original Taylor Hayes on the CBS soap. Read on to see what she says after a rare interview on You Tube.

Hunter Originated The Role Of Taylor Hayes

Hunter originated the role of Taylor Hayes in 1990, with her last appearance having been in 2019. She also appeared in other soap operas over the years, but is best known for the role of Taylor, married to Ridge Forrester.

Before Steffy Took on Today’s B&b Villains, These 3 Shocking Threats Almost Took Her Down
Image
These days, Steffy is facing danger from Sheila and Luna on The Bold and the Beautiful. But long before the two women entered the picture, Steffy’s life was always at risk. Here’s a look at some of her previous experiences with danger.

1. Kidnapped By Morgan

Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) brush with danger began when she was a toddler. During a family vacation, she was presumed dead after falling overboard on a boat. However, she was kidnapped by her father’s ex-girlfriend Morgan (Sarah Buxton). Morgan was obsessed with having Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) child and stole Steffy to raise as her own daughter. Her plan worked perfectly until Taylor (Rebecca Budig) visited Morgan’s home and discovered Steffy was alive. But before Taylor could alert anyone, Morgan knocked her out and held her captive. Ridge became suspicious of Morgan and after getting proof of her crimes, rescued his wife and daughter.

12 Best Movies Like Wicked
Image
"Wicked," released with enough green and pink merchandising to choke a horse, has been one of the rare musical extravaganzas to cross over from an audience of theater enthusiasts into the mainstream. Based on the popular Broadway musical starring Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth (which in turn was based on a Gregory Maguire novel of the same name), "Wicked" tells the origin story of the Wicked Witch of the West from "The Wizard of Oz." Elphaba ends up becoming roommates with Glinda (Ariana Grande as the future good witch) while they're both studying magic at university. An unlikely friendship blossoms between the two total opposites -- until it's suddenly tested by the lure of the Wizard and his Emerald City.

3 Controversial Bold and the Beautiful Pairings
Image
The Bold and the Beautiful again has created controversy. The revelation that Poppy slept with her adopted nephew Finn, and possibly gotten pregnant by him, has sparked fan outrage. Yet, this isn’t the first time the show’s experimented with a taboo couple.

Ridge And Bridget

When it comes to B&b’s most controversial pairings, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Bridget (Ashley Jones) top the list. During Bridget’s childhood, Ridge believed he was her father. However, a DNA test later revealed Eric (John McCook) was her dad, thus making Bridget and Ridge half-siblings.

When Bridget became an adult, the writers decided to retcon Ridge’s paternity, having him be Massimo’s (Joseph Mascolo) son. With Bridget and Ridge no longer blood-related siblings, they fell in love. The relationship was met with disapproval from their family and from fans. The new couple shared a few kisses but didn’t take it any further.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy’s Twin Phoebe Forrester-Is A Soapy Resurrection On The Horizon?
Image
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers and updates reveal Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) late twin sister Phoebe Forrester (MacKenzie Mauzy) has been mentioned a lot lately. Usually, when suspicious “anvils” like that are dropped, it means a character is returning-might Phoebe get a soapy resurrection?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Nothing’s Impossible In Soapland

While Phoebe and Steffy began their journey as identical twins, the narrative took an unexpected turn, transforming them into fraternal twins through recasting. Tragically, Phoebe met her fate in a car accident in 2008, dying in the arms of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) – or did she?

Given Sheila Sharpe’s (Kimberlin Brown) recent dramatic arcs and the chaos surrounding “Sugar” aka Janet Webber (Kimberlin Brown), it’s clear even a character’s death can be reversed with a dramatic twist.

The show could easily concoct a wild storyline where a Phoebe doppelgänger was who actually died,...

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Taylor And Finn’s Shocking Betrayal?
Image
The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates reveal the latest buzz surrounding the soap has fans buzzing, especially the news of Rebecca Budig stepping into the role of Taylor Hayes.

While it’s clear that Budig is a talented actress with plenty of soap opera experience, many are left wondering about the choice to cast someone who appears significantly younger-why?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Some Feel Budig Would Make A Better Phoebe

Some fans remarked Budig looks so young she would have made a better Phoebe Forrester, (Mackenzie Mauzy) Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) late twin.

At 51, Budig seems like an unconventional choice to portray the mother of 37-year-old Steffy and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), especially given her vibrant, youthful appearance.

Yet, we must take a step back and consider the broader implications—could there be a deliberate strategy at play?

Disney Plus is adding an often overlooked Johnny Depp movie this week.

Among the new additions dropping on the Mouse House’s streaming service on Friday, December 18th is Into the Woods, the 2014 movie adaptation of the classic Stephen Sondheim stage musical. Into the Woods is a retelling of various famous fairy tales woven together, starring a packed cast of A-listers as revisionist takes on the mythical characters. The overarching story sees a baker (James Corden) and his wife (Emily Blunt) forced to venture into the dark forest to collect spell ingredients for an evil witch (Meryl Streep). Sam Heughan is arguably one of the best things about Outlander, and not just because he's extremely good-looking. The 37-year-old actor, who is dating MacKenzie Mauzy, is also extremely talented. That shouldn't come as a surprise, though, given the fact that Sam graduated from Glasgow's Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) in 2003. Sam Heughan has popped up in our dreams more times than we care to admit (yes, there were kilts involved), but it looks as though being Mrs. Heughan is something that will only happen when we're fast asleep. Disney’s Into The Woods Hits March 24th Packed With Extras
Into the Woods is hitting on Blu-Ray March 24th, and this one has a lot of great bonuses. Of course, it’s to be expected from Disney, but beyond that, this is one that doesn’t even need a lot of bonuses. Check our Into the Woods review here for the full report on the film itself.

Among the bonuses are a commentary track, several behind-the-scenes featurettes, and a look at the cast.

Not only was this a really great movie (and I’m no huge musical fan), but it’s one that, like most things Disney, is going to go into heavy rotation.

Check out all the details below.

Includes An Exclusive, Never-Before-Seen Original Song “She’ll Be Back” Performance by Meryl Streep with Music By Stephen Sondheim and Lyrics by James Lapine

Into The Woods review
It's taken decades for Into The Woods to get to the big screen. It might just have needed a few more years.

Musicals can be tough to adapt from the stage to film, but you'd think that Rob Marshall, who brought the genre into the 21st century with 2002's Oscar-winning Chicago, would be a safe pair of hands. Unfortunately, that's maybe too true of Into The Woods, a project that has flummoxed filmmakers for a good couple of decades.

The much anticipated film is based on Stephen Sondheim's play, mashing up a bunch of different fairytales to more subversive effect. In a magical kingdom by a great forest, a baker and his wife (James Corden and Emily Blunt) are desperate to have a child together. Alas, the baker is cursed with childlessness by the Witch who lives next door (Meryl Streep) over a quarrel with his deadbeat dad, (Simon Russell Beale.
