Jayne Seymour has joined the cast of the His Wives & Daughters TV series pilot at Cmt. She will play Lorna Larson Banks, the first wife of womanizing country music star, Eddie Ray Banks. Production is slated for January 2017. Jane Seymour has just signed on to a Cmt pilot to play the Ghost of Rayna Jaymes Future. Kinda.

The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman star will headline the cabler’s His Wives & Daughters project, a soapy, comedic pilot in development at the network, TVLine has learned.

The potential series follows “the eclectic and cunning wives and daughters of larger-than-life country-music legend (and infamous womanizer) Eddie Ray Banks,” according to an official logline. Seymour’s character, Lorna Larson Banks, is Eddie’s first wife.

Nashville‘s comeback tour will kick off just after the new year.

The cancelled ABC country-music drama will make its CMT debut with a two-hour premiere on Thursday, January 5, at 9/8c, the cable network announced Wednesday.

As previously reported, Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz (thirtysomething) will take over as showrunners; Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere, Charles Esten, Jonathan Jackson and many of their castmates are confirmed to return.

We hear that the proposed Nashville after-show is still a possibility, as well, even though it was not included in the network’s announcement.

What does one hot blonde plus a band of murderous and rotting skallywags with an unquenchable thirst for bloodshed and mayhem equal? A damned good time, that's what! Such is the case with Steve Sessions' Zombie Pirates.

The flick will be hitting stores on January 21st. Sarah French (pictured) stars. The DVD is presented in a 16x9 Anamorphic Widescreen Edition mastered from high definition.

Synopsis

A dangerous young woman (Sarah French) offers up human sacrifices to a ghost ship of the dead in return for an ancient treasure. When she comes up one sacrifice short, her zombie masters exact their bloody revenge in this gory tribute to Spain's popular Blind Dead Euro Horror series.
