Michael Elkington was born in England, and after being dragged by his
artist mother and adventurous engineer father through an early
education of Argentinean Spanish, and Liverpool English, he cleared
high school in South African Afrikaans. A love of drama in high school
gave way to the practicalities of life, but when college attempts in
accountancy and forestry fell by the wayside, Michael took off to
travel the world in search of his illusive career. Safari guiding, oil
drilling in frozen seas, charter sailing in glamorous destinations,
wild white water rafting, salvage diving, bartending and taxi driving
in between, led Michael to the USA where he found his home and the
heart of his passion. For the past ten years Michael has worked as
actor and screenwriter in Los Angeles.
