Although Bluey is an extremely popular show at the moment, it is easy to forget about the real voices behind the animated series, which means some of the show's guest stars may be particularly surprising. First premiering in 2018, Bluey is an Australian children's show which follows the eponymous Bluey, a Blue Heeler puppy who is energetic and curious about the world. Alongside Bluey, audiences meet her sister, Bingo, and her parents, Bandit and Chilli. Over the past three seasons, Bluey has met some wonderful characters outside of her family though, and often, these are voiced by major stars.
Because of its Australian roots, many of Bluey's guest stars are popular Australian figures, ranging from actors and comedians to journalists and hosts. Although American audiences may not recognize these stars, they definitely make an impact on Australian audiences, who are excited to recognize such iconic voices. However, Bluey is not necessarily lacking in American stars either.

In Shoreditch’s uber-trendy Electric Light Station several weeks back, some of the UK’s biggest disabled stars gathered to usher in Channel 4’s coverage of the Paralympics, and there was fire in their bellies.
The evening featured talks and appearances from the likes of wheelchair basketball star-turned presenter Ade Adepitan, Strictly Come Dancing winner Rose Ayling-Ellis and The Last Leg host Adam Hills, all of whom will play a part in Channel 4’s coverage when the games kick off next Wednesday. Titled ‘Considering What?’, the network’s Paralympics ad was also unveiled, which challenges the notion that disabled athletes are often dismissed with epithets such as “she’s good… for someone in a wheelchair,” when in fact they face the same battle against gravity, friction and time as able-bodied Olympians. Onlookers were inspired by the ad.

Frankie Boyle tore into Matt Hancock and Keir Starmer during an appearance on The Last Leg.
The Scottish comedian joined Adam Hills,Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker to talk about the week’s events, which included the leaking of former health secretary Hancock’s private WhatsApp messages sent during the pandemic.
Hancock criticised journalist Isabel Oakeshott, who provided the messages after ghostwriting his book Pandemic Diaries. He called the action a “massive betrayal of trust”.
The messages have prompted yet another backlash against Hancock, with Boyle saying on Friday (3 March): “Even his hairline is trying to disown him.”
He called out Hancock’s decision to appear on ITV series I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, saying that he chose to lie in the ground “surrounded by worms” to try and make the country forget he had “killed their granny”.
Boyle was referring to Hancock’s response...

David Tennant issued a passionate defence of strikes during an appearance on The Last Leg this week.
The Scottish Doctor Who star also took aim at the Conservative government, describing the UK’s ruling party as “f***wits”.
Partway through Friday’s (3 February) episode of the Channel 4 comedy series, Tennant was asked whether he supported the strikes that have been carried out across various industries, including rail and NHS workers.
“Of course,” Tennant responded. “It’s just the sense that... after everything that’s gone on, through the pandemic, that nurses are having to go on strike to be paid what they’re worth... It makes you want to spit, doesn’t it?”
He then went on to criticise the Tory government’s handling of the strikes, with discussion turning to Rishi Sunak’s 100-days-in-office milestone.
“You’ve got Rishi going, “Listen, we’d love to give them a pay rise,...

The “brutal” murder of student Megan Newton will be the subject of Sky’s true crime documentary What the Killer Did Next.
Newton, 18, was raped, strangled, and stabbed nine times by semi-pro footballer Joseph Trevor, her former schoolmate, in 2019.
She had met Trevor by chance at a taxi rank at around 3.30am on 20 April 2019 while on a night out after working a shift at one of her three part-time jobs.
Trevor was intoxicated after consuming drink and drugs and was worried about going home to his parents, Stafford Crown Court heard during the trial.
Newton, a self-described “sports fanatic” who was working towards her level one Fa coaching badge and hoped to win a scholarship in the US, agreed to let him crash at her bedsit on Fletcher Road in Stoke-on-Trent.
Prosecutor Adrian Keeling QC said it was a “typical act of kindness” by Newton and there was “no sense...

Loose Women star Coleen Nolan has accepted “significant” libel damages over a newspaper story that claimed her role in the popular ITV daytime show had led to a toxic workplace environment.
The former singer, who rose to fame as a member of Irish girl group The Nolans, threatened proceedings against Associated Newspapers over an article published in The Mail on Sunday headlined: “Loose Women at war as stars ‘refuse to work with Coleen Nolan’.”
A press statement said the story, which was published in January this year, “wrongly reported that Coleen’s colleagues had refused to work with her and accused her of being ‘high and mighty behind the scenes’”.
The 57-year-old’s solicitor, Jane Ashford-Thom of Taylor Hampton, said: “The story was false and should never have been published.
“Ms Nolan is on good and professional terms with all panellists and members of the production team of Loose Women.
