With acting, you have to wait for somebody to call you, then you have to wait to see if they like you, and a lot of times they don't. With painting, I love the control. I get to choose it all: When I do it, how it's presented. It's mine. By the time I put a painting on the wall, it's out of my hands. If people like it, fine; if they don't, that's fine, too.
