Jesse Plemons is gearing up for a reunion with filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos and his Kinds of Kindness co-star Emma Stonein Bugonia, set to buzz into cinemas this fall. As part of Collider’s Exclusive Preview event, we’re excited to share a never-before-seen image from the production that puts the two leading actors in the same frame. This time around, they’ll be playing enemies — although Stone’s character has absolutely no idea that she’s made a dangerous nemesis in Plemons’ Teddy. The film, which also features supporting performances from Alicia Silverstone (Clueless), Stavros Halkias (Let’s Start a Cult) and newcomer Aidan Delbis, serves as an English-language remake of Jang Joon-hwan’s 2003 feature, Save the Green Planet! and already looks like it has all the makings of another hit from the director of The Favourite and Poor Things.

It’s been only a year since Prison Break returned to Netflix globally, allowing subscribers outside the US to enjoy all five seasons and ninety episodes, which we’ve now learned will be leaving the streamer again soon. Created by Paul Scheuring for Fox, the crime drama debuted on August 29, 2005, and concluded with a nine-episode fifth season that ran from April 4 to May 30, 2017. Later on, it made its way to Netflix, where it was initially removed internationally in January 2022, but returned in September 2024, months after Netflix US re-added the show in July.
As part of a content licensing deal with Disney for legacy Fox titles, Netflix re-added the hit action thriller to its catalog for a single year, which is set to end next month. With that, Prison Break will not be available to subscribers in all international regions, including Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, all of Latin America, Europe,...

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years since Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence last played the fan-favorite characters Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen, respectively, in 2015’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay: Part 2. Seriously, where does the time go? Anyway, since then, The Hunger Games movie franchise has only expanded, spawning two prequels: The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023), which centers on a young President Snow before he rose to power, and now, Sunrise of the Reaping, which will follow a 16-year-old Haymitch as he prepares to fight in the second Quarter Quell. With a star-studded cast confirmed for Sunrise of the Reaping, which is set to hit theaters in November 2026, rumors of a certain Hunger Games alum returning to make a surprise cameo in the upcoming sequel have been circulating online for quite a while now. But could there be some truth to these rumors?...

With The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping set to hit theaters on November 20, 2026, fans have been buzzing about whether any familiar faces from the original franchise might return — especially Josh Hutcherson, who portrayed Peeta Mellark across all four films in the blockbuster YA adaptation. Now, Hutcherson is weighing in. Speaking to Brit + Co, the actor finally broke his silence about possibly returning to the world of Panem.
“That’d be cool. No, I know nothing in that world right now. Hunger Games is amazing, and I’ve loved it for many years and I will love it forever.”
While Hutcherson hasn’t been approached to appear in Sunrise on the Reaping, the door isn’t closed, especially considering Peeta and Katniss do make a brief appearance in the book. Suzanne Collins’ newest installment takes place 24 years before the 74th Hunger Games, focusing on a young Haymitch Abernathy during his deadly run through the arena.

Elle Fanning said Hunger Games fans are the reason she was cast as Effie Trinket in the upcoming prequel film.
During a recent interview with MTV, the actress chatted about her casting in Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping and taking the role over from Elizabeth Banks, who portrayed an older version of Effie in the franchise’s first four films.
“It was funny because I think fans made this happen in a way,” Fanning said. “The studio [Lionsgate] said they were getting kind of hounded online, like, ‘Elle needs to play Effie.’”
The A Complete Unknown star added that she’s especially excited to play Effie because she’s been “a huge fan” for some time.
“Effie has always been my favorite character,” she explained. “I think Elizabeth Banks brought so much — just even beyond those books — layers to that character. I love her, and I have got to talk to Elizabeth.

Daredevil: Born Againstreaming series co-creator and showrunner Dario Scardapane quietly confirms one character who won't be back for Season 2.
As seen in a Jul. 10 Instagram post from Scardapane, the showrunner confirmed that filming on Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again had wrapped, and offered a special thanks to members of the cast and crew who helped make it happen. Notably absent from the list of those who received said special thanks was Elden Henson, who famously portrayed Foggy Nelson in both the original Daredevil series and in Daredevil: Born Again.

So Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone has finally ridden off into the sunset. Kevin Costner’s John Dutton III, all gravel-voiced grit and rancher gravitas, left behind more than just a power vacuum in Montana. He left a void in our streaming queues and our hearts. And no, a dozen Sheridan spin-offs won’t quite cut it. Because if you’re aching for something that hits just as hard, or even harder, in the Western genre, you’re in for a treat.
Some of these shows are classic dusty-saddle epics; others throw lasso-sized curveballs with sci-fi twists, feminist vengeance, or steely-eyed detectives. But they all have one thing in common: they echo that thunderous energy Yellowstone fans crave.
From Robert Duvall’s swagger in Lonesome Dove to Timothy Olyphant’s lawman cool in Justified, to the almost poetic lawlessness of Deadwood, each series here offers something Yellowstone touched on but never fully mastered.

Prison Break was revived — and not for the first time — on Netflix last year when it was added to the platform and topped Nielsen charts for months straight. This prompted Hulu to greenlight a Prison Break reboot near the end of 2024, one that reportedly had no plans to bring back any former Prison Break stars. However, this didn’t stop fans from speaking their mind, with many calling for original stars Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller to return as Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows. Purcell, who is also known for his work as Mick Rory in DC’s Arrowverse, decided he’s heard enough. Purcell took to his personal Instagram to definitively respond to the rumors, shutting them down and confirming he will not return in the Prison Break reboot.
The Prison Break reboot is reportedly set in the same universe as the original Prison Break, but featuring all-new characters.

Glenn Close and Billy Porter have joined the star-studded cast of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, the upcoming film adaptation of Suzanne Collins' bestselling novel of the same name. The ensemble has been growing at a rapid rate, as the prequel continues to introduce more characters from the page to the screen, and now there are two more in the mix. Close will play Drusilla Sickle, the cruel escort to the District 12 Tributes, while Porter stars as Magno Stift, her estranged husband and the Tributes' uninspired designer.
Throughout her storied acting career on stage and screen, Close, an eight-time Oscar nominee, has become known for portraying iconic villains and complex characters who demand authority, particularly Alex Forrest in Fatal Attraction and Cruella de Vil in Disney's live-action remake of 101 Dalmatians, which should serve her well in bringing Drusilla to life, as she is just as mean-spirited and twisted as the others.

Hailee Steinfeld sunk her teeth into the worldwide conversation thanks to her role in Sinners, but well over 10 years ago, she lost out on the leading role in a dystopian sci-fi film that blossomed into a global franchise. Steinfeld was one of the many stars to audition for the role of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games. Other names include Shailene Woodley, Abigail Breslin, Saoirse Ronan, Emma Roberts, and more. Steinfeld ultimately lost out on the role to Jennifer Lawrence. Now, 13 years after the first Hunger Games movie hit theaters, the film has returned to streaming glory on HBO Max, sitting in the #3 spot on the streamer’s chart. All three of its sequels, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2, are also sitting comfortably in the Max top 10.
The first Hunger Games movie earned a “certified fresh” 84% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, as well as a solid 81% from general audiences on the Popcornmeter.
