Let’s be honest, when someone mentions Michael J. Fox, your brain probably jumps straight to Back to the Future. The red vest, the DeLorean, that wild “Great Scott!” energy… it’s iconic, and so is he. Marty McFly basically defined a generation. But here’s the thing: Michael J. Fox didn’t stop being awesome after time travel.
He’s been out here delivering underrated bangers, low-key gems, and performances that hit way harder than you’d expect. Comedy? Drama? Even animated voice work? He’s done it all, and chances are, you’ve missed a few of his best roles just because they didn’t involve a flux capacitor.
So if you’ve only seen him skateboarding through Hill Valley, buckle up, we’re about to dive into some seriously good Michael J. Fox movies that deserve their own moment in the spotlight. Trust us, there’s way...

Few stories in literature glorify sisterhood as well as “Little Women.” Louisa May Alcott’s 1868 novel is more than just about romance, ambition, and societal expectations; it is also a love letter to the unshakable tie between sisters. The March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy—all have different personalities, desires, and challenges, but their love for one another is the story’s beating heart. Throughout the years, several “Little Women” movie adaptations have brought this relationship to life in unique ways, portraying the warmth, rivalry, and profound emotional connection that constitute sisterhood.
Some emphasize the nostalgic comfort of family, while others focus on the intricacies and conflicts that come with growing up together. These films remind us that sisterhood is never perfect, but it is always powerful. One of the reasons “Little Women” remains popular is that it depicts sisterhood in all of its messy, incredible complexities. The March...

Because Kirsten Dunst has been acting since she was a child, she has a much longer acting resume than other actors her age. Even as a child in the business, Dunst had a variety of projects she appeared in. In addition to family-friendly adventure tales, she also appeared in historical dramas and sci-fi/fantasy films - all before she even turned 18.
Dunst is one of the seemingly rare actors to make a successful transition from roles as a child to roles as an adult. She spent a few years in the early 2000s playing high school roles in teen rom-coms, like cult classic Get Over It, before making the jump to more adult roles. As a result, her best movies include some from her childhood, her teen roles, and her more recent adult roles. Shes had one of the more consistent careers in Hollywood.

From 2001 to 2003, director Peter Jackson forever changed the face of cinema when he pulled off what was thought to be the impossible task of bringing J.R.R. For those of us who remember going to the movies in 1977, we were treated to Star Wars, Smokey And The Bandit, The Spy Who Loved Me, Airport 77, The Car, Orca and Capricorn One. There was a rich wealth of movies to choose from and a time when audiences in their local cinemas would cheer and clap for the heroes. Then on December 14, 1977, coming off the success of Jaws, that director Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi masterpiece graced the screens. Close Encounters Of The Third Kind was the filmmaker’s next movie and, along with star Richard Dreyfuss and the magnificent score from composer John Williams, took audiences on a journey of mankind’s first meeting with aliens and let us know we are not alone in the universe.

Chances are if you rushed out to see “M3GAN” you were intoxicated by its mixture of horror and comedy and probably want more like it.
“M3GAN” is the story of a disaffected roboticist (played by Allison Williams) who supplies her recently orphaned niece (Violet McGraw) with a robotic companion instead of actually, you know, putting in the work to make sure the grieving process isn’t so chaotic. The results are a killer robot/killer doll movie that puts as much emphasis on laughs as it does on thrills.

Louisa May Alcott's Little Women is a classic of American literature. Following the lives of four sisters growing up in Civil War Massachusetts, it has been adapted for television and film at least seven times, the most famous of which is a classic in its own right. The 1994 film adaptation directed by Gillian Armstrong starred Winona Ryder as Jo, Christian Bale as Laurie, Trini Alvarado as Meg, Clare Danes as Beth, and Kristen Dunst and Samantha Mathis as Amy. For a long time, this was the seminal Little Women adaptation, but the 2019 version directed by Greta Gerwig might very well take its place.

Writer-director Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird) has crafted a Little Women that draws on both the classic novel and the writings of Louisa May Alcott, and unfolds as the author’s alter ego, Jo March, reflects back and forth on her fictional life. In Gerwig’s take, the beloved story of the March sisters – four young women each determined to live life on her own terms — is both timeless and timely.
Portraying Jo, Meg, Amy, and Beth March, the film stars Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, with Timothée Chalamet as their neighbor Laurie, Laura Dern as Marmee, and Meryl Streep as Aunt March.
There have been other adaptations of the book. Most famously Little Women (1933) – Directed by George Cukor, stars Katharine Hepburn (Jo), Joan Bennett (Amy), Jean Parker (Beth), and Frances Dee (Meg). Harry Potter actress Emma Watson is set to join Meryl Streep in Greta Gerwig's Little Women remake. Emma Watson is currently in negotiations to take on the role that Emma Stone had to back out of. Emma Stone exited because of the promotional campaign for The Favourite. Production is set to start for the Little Women remake next month, so the studio needed to move fast in finding a replacement. As for which role Watson will be playing, that is unknown at this time.

Peter Jackson is known for making long movies. It's just a thing he does. As it turns out, one of his early movies, The Frighteners, which originally clocked in at a very reasonable 110 minutes, actually has a five-hour cut, according to star Jake Busey. Mind you, this isn't some rough assembly cut, this is actually a cut Jackson was happy with. Here's what Busey had to say about it.
"Yeah, there's a s*** load of material you haven't seen. I think you need to petition and lobby Peter Jackson for an original director's cut. You want to ask him to release the five-hour director's cut. It should be a miniseries broken up into three films."
It's not uncommon for rough assembly cuts of movies to run four or five hours in length. However, Jake Busey assures that this was an actual cut. "I think his first on it was seven or eight hours,...

From the early days of Hollywood, film studios have believed that if one is good, five or six are better. That seems even truer today, when deals are inked for sequels before the first film even gets released. Even worse, it seems that over the years we’ve been bombarded by terrible sequels or worse, sequels to movies that weren’t all that great to begin with. And yet, there are those movies that are so good, they need – nay, deserve – to have their stories continued on the big screen...

It should always be counted a massive tragedy that Michael J Fox was robbed of the opportunity to make more films by his health, because he made some of the best family films of his generation, in the Back to the Future Trilogy, as well as other classics like Teen Wolf, The Secret of My Suce$s and Doc Hollywood. Okay, so not everything he touched was gold, but the actor who rescued Marty McFly from the evils of being ginger and unfunny (from Eric Stoltz of course) has such an easy charisma that even now when he appears in cameos and brief guest runs on TV (where his career trajectory has found comfort since 1996 and Spin City) it’s hard not to love him.
And just before he stopped making movies (aside from voice work for Stuart Little and Atlantis) the same year that Spin City arrived on the small screen,...
