Director Bille August
When Scandinavian directors Ingmar Bergman and Bille August joined forces for The Best Intentions, the outcome was a brooding exploration of love set against the volatile Swedish landscape. Taking in breath taking views of both the city and countryside the Best of Intentions dissects the relationship between BergmanÂ’s parents during a time of great change for Sweden; both politically and within society.
