- She was booked on the Pan Am's Clipper Maid of the Seas Flight 103 from London's Heathrow Airport to JFK Airport in New York City. But at the last minute, she changed her mind as she had forgotten to buy her mother a gift of a teapot from Harrod's department store in London, England. Turns out, Pan Am Flight 103 became the victim of a bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland that had no survivors and killed many on the ground.
