In the "Seinfeld" episode "The Butter Shave", Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld), George (Jason Alexander), and Kramer (Michael Richards) have all decided to shave the mustaches they have been fostering. Somehow, Kramer finds that butter proves to be a superior substitute to shaving cream. Everyone is baffled by this, but Kramer loves it, claiming the butter makes his skin softer. He even tries buttering up his whole body and laying out in the sun for a spell. Unfortunately, he falls asleep while tanning, and wakes up with a crispy, turkey-skin shade.
This proves to be a problem later when Kramer goes to a diner and meets Newman (Wayne Knight). Newman thinks Kramer smells ... delicious. Newman is baffled by his appetite. He glances over at a whole, stuffed turkey being served at the diner, and he begins hallucinating. He sees Kramer's head on the turkey's body. This kind of hallucination may have been common in cartoon shorts,...

Tomorrow, Netflix is premiering Leanne, a new sitcom. Some will think of this as a vehicle for stand-up comic Leanne Morgan, which is fair: It is her name in the title, she’s credited as a co-creator and the show revolves around her character, also named Leanne, navigating a midlife split from her longtime husband Bill (Ryan Stiles). Some will categorize it among the many multicam sitcoms for which its co-creator, Chuck Lorre, is known, including Two and A Half Men, The Big Bang Theory and Dharma & Greg. But discerning viewers will have marked “New Kristen Johnston show” on their calendars as soon as Morgan, during her guest co-host stint, threw to a preview clip on Today’s fourth hour.
For any who doubt whether Johnston should always be considered a headliner — including in Leanne, where Johnston’s character Carol is undeniably the sidekick to her sister, the show...

In the "Seinfeld" episode "The Bookstore", Newman (Wayne Knight) and Kramer (Michael Richards) decide that it would be good money to start their own rickshaw service. Neither of them wants to be the rickshaw puller, however, so they decide immediately to hire an employee, leading to a series of very strange interviews/auditions. One of their candidates, being stronger than them, steals the rickshaw. Recall that Newman and Kramer are not very good businessmen.
They eventually get the rickshaw back and have to return it to their own neighborhood. Rather than both walk, Newman convinces Kramer to pull him. Kramer hates the arrangement. At one point, when the two are on a sloped street, Kramer stops to stretch his arms, accidentally sending Newman rolling backwards down the hill. In one hilarious wide shot, one can see the poor, screaming, helpless Newman zooming down the street, completely out of control. The...

Although the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 trailer was released earlier today to showcase all the new horrors awaiting in the titular pizzeria, Blumhouse saved one sinister surprise for attendees at the San Diego Comic-Con Hall H panel tonight. In addition to Skeet Ulrich reuniting with his fellow Ghostface Matthew Lilliard in the sequel, there's another new animatronic set to make its debut in theaters this December. A new sneak peek was shared that highlighted the creepy Marionette, a haunting being that gamers will remember hiding in a music box that needed to be kept wound in Scott Cawthon's second installment in the horror video game franchise, lest bad things happen. Collider's Samantha Coley was in attendance to get a look at the frightful puppet and its purpose in the footage.

Freddy Fazbear brought the frights to San Diego Comic-Con during Universal Pictures and Blumhouse’s Hall H panel for “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2,” the sequel to the successful 2023 horror game adaptation.
The panel came hours after the film’s trailer was released, revealing the revenge plans of the first film’s murderous animatronic robots.
In a conversation moderated by Juju “Straw Hat Goofy” Green, director Emma Tammi (who also helmed the first film) teased that the upcoming movie features “more than three times as many animatronics” as the first film. She praised collaboration with the Jim Henson Company for the film’s robots, adding, “We we really wanted to make the electronics feel and move as practically as possibly, versus the CG route, which is also incredible, but it just didn’t feel right for the nostalgia that Freddy’s invokes. We met with the Henson team, and they totally got that.

The twisted, supernaturally-possessed Chuck E. Cheese knockoffs from your worst nightmares are back and hungry for more ... and this time, they're bringing some company along for the ride. The first "Five Nights at Freddy's" adaptation in 2023 was an instant hit at the box office, coming as no surprise to anyone paying attention to the unique zeitgeist it tapped into. Based on the uber-popular video games by creator Scott Cawthon, director Emma Tammi's big franchise play was boosted by ravenous Gen-Zers who grew up with that series and helped turn the property into an internet sensation in the first place. Unlike the brightly-lit, meme-friendly, blocky joys of "Minecraft," this particular piece of gaming IP speaks to the "Creepypasta" generation of kids who enjoy a slightly more acerbic style of storytelling.

Two years ago, Blumhouse got in on the game-to-movie boom with its big screen adaptation of Five Nights At Freddy’s – the horror game (particularly beloved by younger players) that brings eerie animatronic mascots to murderous life. It was a considerable financial hit, and so Freddy Fazbear and co are officially back – not, sadly, in ‘Six Nights At Freddy’s’, nor ‘Five Nights At Freddies’s’. No, it’s simply Five Nights At Freddy’s 2, delving further into the extensive lore of the games, bringing back several characters from the first film, and busting those marauding maniacs out of the restaurant. Watch the trailer:
This second chapter takes place a year after the first film – with Josh Hutcherson’s Mike and Elizabeth Lail’s Vanessa still reeling from their slice-n-dice encounter at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, which has since become a local urban legend. But when Mike’s little sister Abby...

The first film followed Mike, a troubled young man who reluctantly takes a job as a night security guard at an abandoned theme restaurant, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, hoping it will help him retain custody of his young sister. That fateful decision instead drags him into the black heart of a supernatural nightmare. Mike’s story continues in the upcoming sequel.

The trailer for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 has just been released, and it looks like fans are in for an even scarier ride this time around. In the first full look at the movie, the killer animatronics are back, and they’re not staying inside Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza anymore.
The new footage opens with McKenna Grace and a group of people exploring the remains of an old Freddy’s restaurant. As you’d expect, things go bad quickly. The animatronics start moving, stalking, and attacking again, and this time, the danger feels bigger. A lot bigger.
The trailer also shows that Abby, Mike, and Vanessa are returning, and once again they’re pulled into the nightmare. Freddy himself appears, asking Abby for help, which drags her and her brother Mike back into a world filled with haunted robots and deadly secrets. And this time, it looks like the...

The first full trailer for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is finally here, and it’s just as creepy as fans hoped. The sequel brings back more killer animatronics, more danger, and way more chaos. This time, the monsters aren’t just inside one haunted pizzeria.
The trailer starts with a group of people exploring an old Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza building. McKenna Grace leads the group, and it doesn’t take long before things start to go wrong. These animatronics aren’t playing games, they’re on the hunt again. From the looks of it, no one is safe.
We also catch up with familiar faces like Abby, Mike, and Vanessa. Freddy himself even shows up to ask Abby for help, and just like that, they’re pulled back into the nightmare. Now it seems the killer animatronics are loose in the outside world, not just inside the restaurant.

In 2023, Blumhouse’s box-office horror phenomenon Five Nights at Freddy’s, based on the blockbuster game series by Scott Cawthon, became the highest-grossing horror film of the year. Now, a shocking new chapter of animatronic terror begins.
One year has passed since the supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. The stories about what transpired there have been twisted into a campy local legend, inspiring the town’s first ever Fazfest.
Former security guard Mike (Josh Hutcherson) and police officer Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail) have kept the truth from Mike’s 11-year-old sister, Abby (Piper Rubio), concerning the fate of her animatronic friends.
But when Abby sneaks out to reconnect with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, it will set into motion a terrifying series of events,...

The only thing you can reasonably expect from an episode of "Seinfeld" is some variation of Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld), Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), George (Jason Alexander), and Kramer (Michael Richards) causing trouble wherever they go. It's in their nature to sow chaos. The beloved sitcom was unlike any other comedy on television because it reveled in its characters' psychopathy without the catharsis of moral resolutions -- barring the divisive series finale. But as much as these four were the face of the show, "Seinfeld" was made great on account of its memorable batch of side characters, with one of the most famous being the infamous Soup Nazi (Larry Thomas).

The Jurassic Parkfranchise is receiving a new trading card set, which will debut at San Diego Comic Con before its wide release. While Jurassic World Rebirth is currently taking a bite out of the box office, the original Jurassic Park trilogy still defines the franchise for many long-time fans. Spielberg's original film left the most indelible mark on popular culture, but all three have their merits, particularly in pure blockbuster craftsmanship.
Screen Rant can exclusively reveal Czx Jurassic Park, a premium trading card set from Universal and Cryptozoic Entertainment, along with the Sdcc-exclusive Czx Jurassic Park: Preview Box. The preview box contains nine exclusive Base Cards along with either an Autograph Card signed by Wayne Knight or one of four Production Concept Cards featuring The Lost World concept images. All 500 of these boxes will be available for $99.99 at Sdcc Booth #115, distributed over the course of July 24-27.

If the latest PVOD charts are any indication, dinosaurs will never go out of style. 32 years after wowing audiences in theaters, Jurassic Park has once again become a hit, this time on iTunes.
According to FlixPatrol, as of July 9, Jurassic Park is ranked No. 9 on iTunes' Top Movies list. Steven Spielberg's 1993 sci-fi classic is in good company, as two of its sequels, 2015's Jurassic World and 2018's Jurassic World Dominion, are slightly above it at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively. Based on Michael Crichton's 1990 novel of the same name, Jurassic Park follows a group of visitors as they struggle to survive and escape Isla Nublar — home of Jurassic Park — after a catastrophic power failure shuts off the safety precautions, allowing the de-extinct dinosaurs, including the vicious T-Rex and velociraptors, to roam free.

Jurassic World: Rebirth stomps into theaters this holiday weekend, looking to sink its teeth into the July 4 box office and revitalize a franchise that even the most dedicated dino-heads would agree is starting to feel a little prehistoric. Starring Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali, the seventh film in the Jurassic series unfolds on a new island where dinosaurs roam freely... and humans are prey.
While the Rebirth reviews are mixed, the movie posted a $28 million opening day, with a projected $127.5 million gross over the four-day weekend. The Rotten Tomatoes audience scores are also coming in a smidgen higher than the Tomatometer, indicating that these digitally enhanced dinosaurs continue to be a big summer movie draw.
But Jurassic still seems like a franchise in need of some fresh creative DNA. And, as it happens, a bold new direction emerged in the early 2000s from an unlikely source — Oscar-nominated screenwriter...

This week sees the release of Jurassic World: Rebirth, and it seems like it’s being met with a bit of a shrug from fans, even if it’s still going to make a solid amount of cash—these movies always do. Jurassic Park has become a franchise for Universal, and a profitable one at that. Yet, none of the films have had the magic the first one did. But what magic was that? I’m glad you asked.
You see, younger audiences may not appreciate it now, but Jurassic Park gave us Dinosaurs. The new Jurassic World movies are full of CGI dinosaurs, but we had never seen them convincingly portrayed on the big screen before. At best, we’d seen—admittedly impressive—stop-motion versions such as those made by Willis O’Brien and Ray Harryhausen, but Spielberg’s Jurassic Park truly brought them to life in a way no one could have ever imagined.

Deep in the jungle of Isla Nublar, game warden Robert Muldoon instructs a group of park employees on how to handle the transfer of a deadly Velociraptor. As he grips his shotgun, Muldoon shouts orders like “Pushing team, move in there,” and “Loading team, step away,” while warning “I want tasers on full charge!” But when the gatekeeper goes to open the container to put the raptor in its cage, the dinosaur rams the back of the container, moving it backwards and causing the gatekeeper to fall. Muldoon tries to save the gatekeeper, but fails. The man is devoured by the ferocious creature.
After six movies — including three good ones — the opening scene of the first Jurassic Park remains one of the most gruesome in the franchise. But to assure audiences that death by dino can be fun, too, director Steven Spielberg made the very next death in the first movie far more lighthearted.

An animated sci-fi movie with an 86% Rotten Tomatoes score becomes an instant streaming hit in America three months after its $15 million box office. After Inside Out 2, Moana 2, Despicable Me 4, Mufasa: The Lion King, and Kung Fu Panda 4 all ranked within the top 10 highest-grossing movies of 2024, 2025 has been a rough year so farfor animated films at the box office.
However, Dreamworks' Dog Man, released this past January, was a modest success that earned an 80% Rotten Tomatoes score and made over $145 million at the box office. There have also been several animated films that flew under that radar at the box office in 2025, earning critical praise but failing to attract large audiences in theaters.

Some ideas are just so good that they transcend the limitations of the medium where they first appeared. The Punisher is a great example of this, as despite originally being introduced as a Spider-Man villain back in 1974, this extremely versatile character has cemented himself as a cultural icon even among folks who have never read a single comic-book.
That’s why it makes sense that every single Punisher movie is entertaining in its own unique way, as the character remains compelling whether the adaptation embraces comic-book excess or focuses on the hard-boiled vigilante elements of this gun-toting anti-hero. However, while the Thomas Jane incarnation of Frank Castle will always be my nostalgic favorite, the most balanced depiction of the character also happens to be the most underrated, and that’s what we’ll be discussing today. If you haven’t already guessed, I’m referring to Lexi Alexander’s hyper-violent 2008 thriller Punisher: War Zone,...

Blumhouse boss Jason Blum teased Five Nights at Freddy’s fans on what they can expect from the highly anticipated sequel to the hit 2023 movie. The movie franchise is based on Scott Cawthon’s popular horror video game series of the same name, which was first released in 2014.
During a recent appearance at the 2025 Ccxp Mexico, Blum offered a brief update about Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. He promised that the upcoming sequel would be a lot scarier than the first installment, since they took into account the fans’ criticisms about the 2023 movie during the movie’s production. "We took lots of the criticism, saying it was not scary, lacked blood or strong scenes. We decided to implement all that in the sequel,” Blum shared.
During the first installment’s theatrical run, the film became Blumhouse’s highest-grossing movie of all time, with a worldwide gross of over $297 million at the box office.

In 2023, Blumhouse gleefully jumped on the string of video game to film adaptations, bringing Scott Cawthon’s beloved horror game Five Nights at Freddy’s to a chilling feature-length life. The movie proved to be an incredible success at the box office, earning well over $297 million globally before its run came to an end — and that’s on top of the fact that the title dropped the same day on Peacock. As is the case with most works that celebrate that kind of achievement, fans were quickly asking when they could expect a sequel. Although it may have taken longer than the following would have liked, a follow-up was officially announced in April of last year. Now that we’re only six months away from the film’s debut, many are wondering what they can expect when Freddy Fazbear returns for his next murderous spree.

“It’s go time!”
When Mickey shouts that phrase before charging at Kramer in Season Eight of Seinfeld, fans were already familiar with these three little words. Two episodes earlier, geriatric personal trainer Izzy Mandelbaum originates the line to motivate Jerry. Then, Mandelbaum’s very old son repeats “It’s go time!” before attempting to pick up a heavy television at the end of the episode. And after Mickey yells the in-joke as he charges Kramer, the line reappears again in Season Nine when Izzy makes his second appearance.
“It’s go time!” is just one of the many running gags on Seinfeld that span more than one season. So, which were the best of the best? Eric Dobin and Adam Pacecca, co-hosts of The Place To Be: A Seinfeld Podcast, helped me compile this list of the show’s all-time multi-season gags — including the greatest one for each main character.

The first fully animated Looney Tunes movie hits Max on Friday, June 27.
Daffy Duck and Porky Pig are blasting off from the big screen to streaming with “The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie.” After picking up solid reviews (and a decent box office run), this sci-fi comedy is heading to HBO Max, bringing Looney Tunes chaos to a full-length alien invasion story. It’s fast, funny, and totally unhinged in the best way. Here’s everything you need to know before it lands on streaming on Friday, June 27 on HBO Max.
