Image
Paramount+ has officially set the stage for Sylvester Stallone’s Dwight “The General” Manfredi to face his biggest fight in Tulsa King Season 3, dropping the first trailer and announcing a Sunday, September 21 premiere date.

A Fan-Favorite Marvel Actor Made An Appearance In A Stargate Sg-1 Episode
Image
"Stargate Sg-1" hosted an impressive array of guest stars over the course of its 10-season run. The show focused on a team of universe-traversing soldiers and scientists, which threw up several problems. The biggest challenge faced by the "Sg-1" VFX team was trying to find new locations to stand in for the various alien planets in the series. But the show also needed a lot of guest actors to portray the extra-terrestrial races that inhabit the multitude of distant planets explored by the Sg-1 team. Often, the show and its spin-offs got around that particular challenge by casting the same actors in different roles. One of the most prolific "Stargate Sg-1" guest stars, for example, actually played nine different characters, though thanks to the prosthetics and makeup you'd never know it was the same guy.

But there were also multiple guest stars who only showed up a handful of episodes.

Peacemaker Season 2’s Dance Number Is “Way Bigger” With “Twice as Many People" [Exclusive]
Image
One of the most unexpected highlights of Peacemaker Season 1 wasn’t a fight scene or a plot twist — it was the absolutely unskippable opening credits sequence. Choreographed to Wig Wam’s “Do Ya Wanna Taste It,” the dance became an instant fan-favorite moment. And with Season 2 less than a month away, Peacemaker star Steve Agee just confirmed the new dance number is doubling down on everything fans loved. Collider’s Steve Weintraub caught up with Agee at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, where the actor teased just how much bigger the new number is going to be — in every sense.

“Way bigger. I mean, at least twice as many people. Maybe more in the dance number because we have a much bigger cast this season. We've got Frank Grillo with us. Robert Patrick's back. Judomaster's back. We have Tim Meadows, a wonderful actress, Sol Rodriguez. It's a lot of people.”

'Peacemaker' Dcu Star Reveals Season 2 Finale Have Some "Crazy Stuff"
Image
Peacemaker Season 2 is giving Dcu fans déjà vu, as the main stars of the HBO Max series have revealed that the finale will include some "crazy stuff" that won't be shown to journalists. The long-awaited second season of James Gunn's raunchy superhero series will directly follow the events of Superman.

The cast of Peacemaker revealed to Cbr that the final three episodes of Season 2 will be withheld from the press ahead of their premiere on HBO Max. They confirmed that "there is some crazy stuff" in episodes 6, 7, and 8, but did not elaborate or hint at what that might be. Fans are already speculating that a Superman crossover could be happening over the three-episode stretch. That speculation has some merit, especially since the Peacemaker Season 1 finale was also not shown to the press due to having a Justice League cameo. Whatever it is, it appears that Gunn is not holding...

It's been a while since we've gotten to revisit John Cena's delightfully deranged and surprisingly human paragon of "peace," as the writer, director, and new head of DC Studios needed a break after the back-to-back productions of "The Suicide Squad" and "Peacemaker" season 1.

Gunn is seemingly more than ready to get back to his creative goldmine, and honestly, so are we. In anticipation of this new adventure, we couldn't help but revisit the character's weirdest and most absurd moments from his history, both in film/television and the comics that inspired them. From his origins in the 1960s to his somewhat unexpected big screen appearance in 2025, we found all the highlights...

The Most Ambitious Terminator Sequel Is One You Can't See Properly Ever Again
Image
For the past several decades, we've enjoyed living in a world of near-instant gratification when it comes to media. Despite there being oodles of legitimately lost media, there are just as many books, albums, TV shows, and movies that are readily available and lovingly preserved. That's why it's so easy to catch up with series that are long-running and still very popular; sure, there may be a ton of "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" content out there, but you have the option to consume all of it should you wish to. Additionally, though it's not always feasible to have the experience of watching the likes of "The Empire Strikes Back" or "The Wrath of Khan" in a movie theater, the possibility of a repertory screening or re-release exists. If it's your dream to see an entire film series the way it was meant to be seen, in other words, it's hypothetically an achievable one.

‘Peacemaker’ Season 2 Releases New Trailer: John Cena Takes on a Wild New Universe”
Image
DC Studios made a big splash at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. They came with something fans were excited for: the trailer for Peacemaker Season 2.

The panel started with the long-awaited trailer for the second season. In it, John Cena’s Christopher Smith, also known as Peacemaker, finds himself in a new parallel universe. It looks just like our world, maybe even better.

In this place, he gets to be with Harcourt, played by Jennifer Holland. But back in the regular world, Frank Grillo’s Rick Flag Sr. is working hard to shut the portal and go head-to-head with Peacemaker. At one point, Leota (Danielle Brooks) tells him, “No matter how great the grass is over there, you belong here with us.”

‘Peacemaker’ Season 2 Trailer Reveals John Cena in a Parallel Universe Adventure
Image
San Diego Comic-Con had something big to offer this year, especially for fans of Peacemaker.

The panel opened with the new Season 2 trailer. This time, John Cena’s Peacemaker finds himself in a parallel universe. It looks just like ours, but somehow… better. In this new place, he even gets to be with Jennifer Holland’s Harcourt.

But back in the real world, things aren’t so great. Frank Grillo’s character, Rick Flag Sr., who also appears in Superman, is trying to shut the portal Peacemaker crossed through. Leota, played by Danielle Brooks, appears in the trailer and tells Chris: “No matter how great the grass is over there, you belong here with us.”

Peacemaker Grapples With a Parallel World — and Rick Flag’s Vengeful Dad — in New Season 2 Trailer
Image
Peacemaker is torn between a world where a livid Rick Flag Sr. wants vengeance, and a parallel world where the grass looks awfully greener, in a new Season 2 trailer unveiled Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con.

Details on Peacemaker‘s Season 2 storyline had been scarce for a long while, aside from showrunner/DC Studios co-ceo James Gunn saying, “It essentially picks up where Season 1 left off, with a couple minor differences” — including the fact that the Justice League that Peacemaker crossed paths with in the finale doesn’t exist yet.

‘Peacemaker’ Season 2 Trailer Shows John Cena’s Hero In A Parallel Universe – Comic-Con
Image
DC Studios stepped in at San Diego Comic-Con where Marvel Studios use to dwell: the late Saturday spot in Hall H with the James Gunn co-run Warner Bros comic book label bringing the second season of Peacemaker.

But there was also more reason for glee, for as the panel’s moderator Joshua Horowitz observed: “James this is the first time you’ve been in front of crowd since Superman.” And with that, Hall H erupted in cheer.

The panel kicked off with the new trailer for season 2 which shows John Cena’s Christopher Smith enjoying a new parallel dimension he’s found. It’s just like our, and it’s even better. It’s a place where he can hook up with Jennifer Holland’s Harcourt. Meanwhile, back in the real world, Frank Grillo’s Rick Flag Sr (from Superman) is out to close the portal in his face-off with Peacemaker.

Peacemaker Season 2 Won't Retcon Dceu Elements In The Way We're Expecting According To James Gunn
Image
Last year, DC Studios co-ceo James Gunn clarified some confusing comments he made about the first season of Peacemaker, which he said he didn't view as being canon with the new Dcu despite the upcoming second season being firmly established as part of the burgeoning shared movie and TV universe.

While speaking to IGN, Gunn revealed that "almost all" of Peacemaker season 1 is canon, with one notable exception.

"In Creature Commandos, you'll hear them talk about things that happened in [The] Suicide Squad or Peacemaker,” Gunn explained. “Well then, those things automatically become canon.”

“The truth is almost all of Peacemaker is canon with the exception of Justice League," added Gunn. "Which we will kind of deal with in the next season of Peacemaker."

As expected, the sequence featuring members of the Justice League showing up way too late to save the day in the season finale is the one aspect...

James Gunn Reveals Dcu’s Future Leads to a Big Event — And ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2 Will Show the First Hints: “It’s Not What Anyone Thinks”
Image
James Gunn’s Superman movie has just hit theaters, but fans are already curious about what’s coming next in his new DC Universe. The next chapter is Peacemaker Season 2, and according to Gunn himself, it’s going to be more important than people expect.

In a chat with Screenrant, Gunn talked about what’s ahead. He was asked about Krypto, the superdog from Superman. The interviewer wondered if Krypto might secretly be the emotional center of Gunn’s Dcu, similar to how Rocket turned out to be the heart of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Gunn said that’s not the case but left fans with a mysterious clue instead. “Yeah, I don’t think it’s Krypto’s story. I think I know whose story it is, and it probably isn’t anyone anyone would ever expect.”

He also confirmed that something big is coming. “Yeah, and...

James Gunn Says Dcu Is Building Toward a Big Event — And ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2 Holds the Clues: “It’s Not What Anyone Thinks”
Image
With Superman now in theaters, fans are already looking ahead to what’s next for James Gunn’s DC Universe. The next big project? Peacemaker Season 2. In a new chat with Screenrant, Gunn teased that the show is setting up something much bigger than people expect.

During the interview, Gunn was asked about Krypto, the superdog introduced in Superman. The interviewer wondered if Krypto might secretly be the heart of the Dcu, just like Rocket ended up being the center of Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy.

Gunn shut that idea down quickly, but added a curious twist. “Yeah, I don’t think it’s Krypto’s story. I think I know whose story it is, and it probably isn’t anyone anyone would ever expect.”

He also made it clear that everything is building toward a major event, even if fans aren’t guessing right just yet. “Yeah,...

Liam Neeson’s, 73, Critical Failure Robs Its Way Onto a New Streaming Home 5 Years Later
Image
For years, we’ve seen Liam Neeson assume physically demanding action roles, some of which have contributed to his prominence, while others, not so much. One such role is his Tom Dolan character in the 2020 thriller, Honest Thief, which wasn’t much of a success at the box office or among critics, who gave it a 41% on Rotten Tomatoes. That hasn’t stopped the film from getting positive attention from viewers, who would surely be glad to know that it has found a new streaming home right in the heat of summer.

On July 1, 2025, Honest Thief landed on Hulu, where it has become a surprise hit, despite its past failure. The action pic claimed the #5 spot on the streamer upon its debut, and fans can hope for even more success in the coming weeks. Honest Thief was theatrically released on October 16, 2020, by Open Road Films and Briarcliff Entertainment. It grossed...

“I’m so happy to be on Seasons 2, 3, and now we’re about to start Season 4 in October of Tulsa King,” McDonough told Collider. “And now that I’m the governor of Tulsa — of Oklahoma — I’m having a ball.”

McDonough, who plays Malcolm Beck in Yellowstone and the slippery Cal Thresher in Tulsa King, has become a regular in the ever-expanding Sheridan-verse. While promoting his new film Guns and Moses, he opened up about what it’s like working under Sheridan, and defended a fan-frustrating moment many thought was a dropped ball.

Image
John Cena is set to reprise his role as Peacemaker in the second season of his hit DC show next month, but ahead of its arrival, a long-forgotten action film from the WWE star has returned to streaming charts. Cena stars alongside Ethan Embry and Boyd Holbrook in The Reunion, a 2011 action film following three half-siblings who go to Mexico as bounty hunters with the hopes of inheriting $3 million from their dad. The Reunion is currently streaming for free on Tubi, and it’s one of the most popular movies on the streamer in America, sitting at #7 at the time of writing. The film grossed only $1.6 million on limited screens against a $6 million budget, and it earned disastrous scores of 9% from critics and 32% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

Why Landman's Billy Bob Thornton Never Wanted To Direct Again After His Biggest Western Flop
Image
If you've ever seen "Sling Blade," the 1996 directorial feature debut of Billy Bob Thornton, you know the man isn't just a phenomenal actor but a damn good writer and director, too. "Sling Blade" is old-school, smart, and sensitive — it's poetry in motion in a way that very few films are. It couldn't be made today for several reasons, but at the time, Thornton received the recognition for it that he deserved. It brought him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor, but more importantly, he won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.

His career as a writer-director (in addition to being a busy actor) couldn't have had a better start. He was ambitious and creatively rich, having his own singular cinematic vision that had the potential to turn him into the type of actor-director that Clint Eastwood had become before him. But as it often happens in Hollywood, his next...
