  • (1958) Was signed to appear in "The Price of Peace," a television series proposed for the 1958-59 TV season. Had this proposal gone into production, the anthology series would have focused on the development of the US defense system. Van Heflin was also signed.
  • (1938) Radio: Host of the series "Good News of 1938".
  • (1963) Starred in several episodes of a series scheduled for the fall season on NBC- TV called "The Robert Taylor Show" about a troubleshooting executive in the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare. The series was a revision of the 1962 effort starring William Bendix called "330 Independence SW (1962)" (episode of The Dick Powell Theatre (1961). NBC canceled the series suddenly in the summer of 1963 following a dispute with HEW and the episodes never aired.
  • (10/4/68) Appeared on "George Jessel's Here Come the Stars," syndicated television series. He was the guest of honor and was roasted by host George Jessel and guests including Pat O'Brien.

  • (10/6/47) Radio: Appeared (as "Alan Garroway") in a "Lux Radio Theater" broadcast of "Undercurrent".
  • (1929) Stage: Appeared in a production of "Helena's Boys".
  • (3/24/41) Radio: Appeared (as "Ens. Alan Drake") in a "Lux Radio Theater" broadcast of "Flight Command".
  • (August 21 to 26, 1934) He acted in Bayard Veiller's play, "Within The Law," at the Pasadena Playhouse in Pasadena, California. Gilmor Brown was artistic director. Hardie Albright was director.
