Sonny is due for a love interest on General Hospital. With Natalia gone and Carly with Brennan, it’s time for Sonny to move on to someone new. He may have found that someone.
The Charm Of Sonny
The ladies love Sonny (Maurice Benard). His list of relationships is endless, with some women in Port Charles falling for him more than once. His love life has been quiet since his divorce from Nina (Cynthia Watros). It looked like he was falling for Natalia (ex-Eva Larue), but that never went anywhere, and now she is dead.
Sonny has also had his fair share of love/hate relationships, and a new one seems to be on the horizon. Justine, also known as Ada Turner (Nazneen Contractor), has been after Sonny since her first appearance in Port Charles. Her mission is to take him down, but that is not an easy job.

Owen Wilson has a long filmography, but his more recognizable roles are typically found in comedies or Wes Anderson collaborations, including The Royal Tenenbaums. Throughout his career, Wilson has appeared in commercially successful franchises, notably Night at the Museum and Cars, where he portrayed Jedediah and Lightning McQueen, respectively. However, some of his most beloved performances to date come from Zoolander and Wedding Crashers, as well as the Shanghai movies, where he starred opposite Jackie Chan.
Despite his comedic talent, Wilson has tackled other genres, starring in Armageddon and Behind Enemy Lines, among more projects. In 1999, he appeared as Luke Sanderson in The Haunting, an adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s acclaimed novelThe Haunting of Hill House, and murderer Van Siegert in The Minus Man, but neither movie was a critical hit. While the same rang true for Anaconda, another horror film, premiering earlier in Wilson’s career, it would go...

MTV launched on August 1, 1981, famously charging out of the gate with The Buggles' hit song "Video Killed the Radio Star." It was pretty presumptuous and cheeky for the suits at MTV to assume that their new network was instantly ripping apart an old media landscape, but they were eventually proven somewhat right. MTV became, for a prolonged spell, a brand new cultural fulcrum for Gen-x youths. The network didn't just randomly showcase hip music videos — a medium that exploded in popularity thanks to MTV's machinations — but carefully curated them, allowing viewers to appreciate certain genres, labels, or artists they may not have known otherwise. Some early MTV explorers may recall 1983's "I.R.S. Records Presents The Cutting Edge." Hosts would introduce blocks of videos and even take requests. The term VJ entered the pop lexicon.

Before Scarlett Johansson became one of the faces of the MCU, she made her name with dramatic roles in films like Lost in Translation and Marriage Story. But in 2002, she stepped into something completely different, playing Ashley, a small-town teen just trying to survive a spider apocalypse.
Eight Legged Freaks is a classic B-movie creature feature, where the giant spiders are the stars, and the humans just try to stay alive. It’s campy, it’s silly, and it knows exactly what it’s doing. Whether it’s through the exaggerated spider attacks or the absurd reactions of the townspeople, Eight Legged Freaks is a film that doesn’t take itself seriously. And that’s exactly why it works.
Eight Legged Freaks Is Ridiculous, Campy Fun
What if toxic waste turned a bunch of normal spiders into massive, people-eating monsters? That question pretty much sums up Eight Legged Freaks, a...

A star from a beloved 1990s sci-fi show pitches a reboot idea, but with one caveat. The genre of science-fiction flourished on television during the 1990s, offering audiences imaginative explorations of futuristic technology and alien encounters. Star Trek: The Next Generation, which ended in 1994, set a high bar for sci-fi, while its spin-offs, Deep Space Nine and Voyager, expanded the franchise's universe. Meanwhile, The X-Files captivated viewers with its blend of government conspiracies, paranormal phenomena, and the chemistry between its two leads, Mulder and Scully, becoming a cultural phenomenon.
The era also saw the rise of more diverse sci-fi narratives, such as the epic storytelling of Babylon 5, which helped pioneer serialized television arcs. Stargate Sg-1 debuted in 1997, blending military drama with intergalactic adventure, while Farscape (1999) offered a darker and more surreal take on space exploration. Amid these series, Sliders stood out for its concept of parallel worlds, with each...

The Anaconda remake gets a new update from Paul Rudd and Jack Black, who unite for a video to reveal the film's release date. Released in 1997, Anaconda follows a National Geographic film crew as they are forced to work with an obsessed hunter to capture the world's largest snake. A sequel was released in 2004, followed by new installments in 2008 and 2009. After the franchise lay dormant for 15 years, it was confirmed this August that an Anaconda remake is on the way, with Black, Rudd, and Daniela Melchior all set to star.
Sony now shares a new video featuring Rudd and Black on the Anaconda remake's tropical-looking set, with the pair revealing that the film will hit theaters Christmas 2025. Though there's some confusion over whether the movie will be called "Anaconda" or "The Anaconda," Black does promise that "there's gonna be a big f--king snake." Something other than Santa Claus is coming to town next holiday as Sony plans to release its reimagined Anaconda movie in the Christmas 2025 window. With plans to take a comedic approach to the original 1997 creature feature, The Anaconda stars Jack Black, Paul Rudd, and Daniela Melchoir with The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent director Tom Gormican at the helm. The Anaconda slithers alongside other Christmas Day releases, including Paul Feig’s The Housemaid, starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, and A24’s ping-pong biopic Marty Supreme, starring Timothee Chalamet.
In addition to getting behind the camera, Tom Gormican wrote Sony’s The Anaconda with Kevin Etten.
1997’s Anaconda focuses on a “National Geographic” film crew taken hostage by an insane hunter who forces them along on his quest to capture the world’s largest—and deadliest—snake. Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube, Owen Wilson, Eric Stoltz, Jonathan Hyde, Kari Wuhrer, and Jon Voight lead the cast,...

Scarlett Johansson has played a lot of major roles throughout her career, but one of her least-appreciated parts was in a horror B-movie that deserves more attention. Johannson may be most recognizable for her portrayal of Natasha Romanoff or Black Widow in various Marvel superhero movies, but the actress has enjoyed a full and diverse career outside the action genre. Johansson's best movies include heartbreaking dramas, mind-bending sci-fi flicks, and more.
Considering that Johansson's career began when she was around 11 years old, it makes sense that many of her movies would go under the radar for audiences. For example, her first lead role was in a drama called Manny and Lo, where Johannson played a young foster care escapee who must help her pregnant sister. Some may even forget about some lesser-known Scarlett Johansson movies, including 1997's Home Alone 3 or The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. However, among these many entries,...

Paul Rudd and Jack Black are in early talks to star in a new “Anaconda” movie at Sony, according to an insider with knowledge of the project.
“The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent” writers Tom Gormican and Kevin Etten wrote the screenplay, with Gormican attached to direct. “Snow White and the Huntsman” and “Tomb Raider” screenwriter Evan Daugherty wrote the previous draft of the script.
Brad Fuller and Andrew Form are producing via their Fully Formed banner.
The film isn’t expected to be a sequel or a straight remake, but instead a reimagining of the original ’90s film, which grossed roughly $137 million at the box office worldwide and was disparaged by critics and audiences alike at the time.
Released in 1997, “Anaconda” starred Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube and Jon Voight.

While Stuart Gordon cemented himself as a master of horror with early works like Re-Animator and From Beyond, his later output is also worthy of exploration. 2003’s King of the Ants kicked off a trio of intense thrillers (alongside Edmond and Stuck) that would end up being Gordon’s final features. It was also one of the first productions from The Asylum, who would go on to create Sharknado, Z Nation, and Black Summer.

In Gregory Widen's 1995 horror film "The Prophecy," angels look like ordinary people but are a little ... off. They are typically clad in black suits, but move like birds, snapping their heads around quickly, as if constantly aware of potential danger. They also have unnatural balance, able to perch on the edges of buildings or the backs of chairs without toppling over. When an angel calls Uziel (Jeff Cadiente) dies in the first "Prophecy," a medical examiner finds that the corpse is missing its eyes and that its blood chemistry is similar to that of an unborn fetus. Angels, it seems, are also intersex, possessing both a penis and a vagina. Angels, it seems, lurk among us, resentful of humanity.

The Alien Report: "The Alien Report follows "The Abductee" (Braxton Hale), an everyday American who finds himself hijacked by extraterrestrial beings and taken on a terrifying journey of self-preservation, running afoul of classic "grey aliens", disturbing human-et hybrids, and the U.S. government's shady Men in Black. Based on countless documented reports made by self-proclaimed abductees, The Alien Report is a meticulous, straight-faced look at what an real-life alien abduction would be like, from the perspective of first-person cameras.
The Alien Report has screened at festivals worldwide, winning awards in the U.S., UK, Australia, and Brazil. Shot on iPhone and GoPro cameras as a non-traditional narrative composed of re-assembled found footage, the picture plays out as both a sci-fi thriller and first-person documentary. It is the intended first chapter in a trilogy of films about extraterrestrial abductions.
The Alien Report was directed by Patrick Donnelly and produced by Kevin Schroeder and Michael Sell.

The late 1990s and early 2000s were a weird era for films. There is definitely an influence from Y2K, and it seemed like there was an attitude that anything goes from some and a tightening of the belt from others. The world was in an odd place, and this influenced everything in culture like music, television, and films. 2002 gave us a wide variety of horror, like Queen of the Damned, Fear Dot Com, Cabin Fever, Bubba Ho-Tep, Dog Soldiers, and Bloody Mallory. This was the end of an era and the start of another for David Arquette it seemed. A time when he tested the “leading man” waters. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite go as planned as box office bomb after box office bomb came. Films like Ravenous, Ready to Rumble, 3000 Miles to Graceland, See Spot Run, and The Grey Zone all featured Arquette in some form but...

Paul Rudd stars in Sony’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife and its upcoming sequel, so of course they’d want to keep working with him on their event-sized Anaconda movie. And a few months ago, we...

Spiders are disgusting. No matter their size, shape, or genre —sometimes they're tiny and realistic. Other times, they're large and anthropomorphic. Regardless of their type, spiders have been a fixture of genre cinema since its beginning. In 1957's "The Incredible Shrinking Man," the titular shrinking man (Grant Williams) battled a giant spider while adjusting to dime-sized life. Early roots of folktales and mythology abound with symbolic spiders. Arachne, a Greek weaver, defeated the Goddess Athena in a weaving contest, subsequently condemning herself to a life of eternal weaving as Athena transformed her into a spider. There are arachnid roots and depictions throughout history, most benevolent, though all deeply meaningful.
In contemporary canon, spiders have become more menacing, threatening, and squirm-in-your-chair disgusting. Likely rooted in the quotidian experience of arachnophobia, filmmakers have wasted no time exploiting the basest of fears to make their projects even more frightening. Most spiders are relatively harmless.

“Hellraiser” is one of the handful of horror franchises that practically everyone knows about, even though hardly anyone’s seen most of its entries. That’s because this sprawling saga about supernatural extreme Bdsm enthusiasts, whose pursuit of physical sensation blurs the line between pleasure and pain, hasn’t had a film in wide release in more than 25 years.
Since then, the series has been kept alive, ever so barely, by squeaking out low-budget straight-to-video sequels that have little (and sometimes practically nothing) to do with the original movies. To take a journey through the entire “Hellraiser” franchise is so ill-advised, you half expect it’s something Pinhead would put his victims through. And here they are, ranked from worst to best.
11. “Hellraiser: Hellworld” (2005)
The lousiest “Hellraiser” sequel takes place in the real world — yes, the one you’re in right now — where the movie has spawned a popular online video game.

As we prepare for David Bruckner’s new take on Clive Barker‘s iconic text Hellraiser, what better time to re-evaluate the state of the franchise up to this point?
Even a cursory glance at the ten existing Hellraiser films reveals that not all Cenobite films are made equal. And while the top film is a given, what about the other slots?
Here are my definitive rankings…
10 – Hellraiser: Revelations (2011)
Like many major horror series in the 2000s and beyond, Hellraiser properties were driven by rights issues. Revelations suffers as a result. Dimension Films needed to release a new film or else they would lose the rights, so Revelations was rushed into production and made on the cheap.
Fans of the franchise decried the loss of Doug Bradley, who for the first time refused to reprise his role as Pinhead (let’s be honest: replacement Stephan Smith Collins never stood a chance). Still,...

Sony is digging into its vault to revive the 1997 cult creature feature “Anaconda” starring Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube and Jon Voight.
The studio has tapped “Snow White and the Huntsman” and “Tomb Raider” screenwriter Evan Daugherty to write the script.
The film isn’t expected to be a sequel or a straight remake, but instead a reimagining of the film, which grossed roughly $137 million at the box office world wide and was disparaged by critics and audiences alike at the time.

The notion of placing Batman in other times and places seems so obvious now, but when Brian Augustyn first hatched the notion with Mark Waid, it was radical. As Augustyn recounts on the 21 minute Caped Fear: The First Elseworld featurette, it was immediately embraced. So enticing was the concept that when artist Mike Mignola first heard about it, he kept saying he had no time but then kept contributing ideas that it was clear he’d make the time.
Gotham by Gaslight pitted an 1889 Dark Knight against Jack the Ripper, come to Gotham City. It was moody, atmospheric, and somber, a perfect Victorian take on the crimefighter. As a result, it ignited imitators, prompting DC Comics to finally invent the Elseworlds imprint and inspired Augustyn to write a sequel, Master of the Future, set three years later as Gotham hosted the American Discovery Exposition.

Nineties giant snake movie Anaconda comes under James's microscope. Could it be more than just another scaly B-movie?
"You don't know shit about the shit we're in here!" Gary Dixon (Owen Wilson) in Anaconda. That sentence pretty accurately sums up most people's appreciation of both the movie Anaconda, life in general and the state of the Universe. When you've finished reading this article, you will know some shit.
Do you remember Anaconda? The 1997 killer snake film starring Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube and Jon Voight? It had the tagline "When you can't breathe you can't scream"? It got nominated for six Razzies but, in spite of such ignominy, went on to become a cult hit and spawned three sequels?

The first two "Sharknado" films brought skyborne sharks to Los Angeles and New York City. Not to be outdone, the third outing in the Syfy franchise will wreak havoc on the entire East Coast -- er, Feast Coast, that is.

In the lineage of movie sequels that outdid their predecessors, there’s The Godfather Part 2, Aliens, Terminator 2, The Dark Knight, and now…Sharknado 2: The Second One. It was a charming movie, and the clear love with which it was made earned it a place in the hearts of cineastes the world over for its “so bad it’s good” quality,...

For reasons unknown, we all watched "Sharknado 2: The Second One" on SyFy on Wednesday night, knowing full well that it was going to be a pretty horrible movie. But the flick managed to exceed our extremely low expectations, thanks to a parade of cameos, a badass Vivica A. Fox and one of the most ridiculous endings to a TV movie (or any movie) ever. Was it still bad? Of course, but you knew that already. Here are the 5 craziest things that went down in Ian Ziering and Tara Reid's latest television masterpiece. 1.) Kelly Osbourne gets decapitated It didn't take long for the sharks to start flying and Ozzy Osbourne's daughter was one of the first to go. She got it bad too, playing a flight attendant whose head comes clean off. 2.) Tara Reid Loses An ArmAfter the traumatic plane attack, Tara's left without a limb. "This shark...
