(1999) Stage: Wrote and directed off-Broadway show "Big Rosemary" (based on his 1956 screenplay He Laughed Last (1956))

He has served as creative consultant on "The New Peter Gunn" prospective television series. Remakes in various stages of development include: a "Peter Gunn" feature at Paramount, "Experiment in Terror" at Sony, The Pink Panther (2006) at MGM, "The Party" at DreamWorks, "The Bomb" (an urban remake of 10 (1979)) at Warner Bros., "The Man Who Loved Women" from brothers Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen and "Blind Date" from Revolution Studios.

Work-shopped a re-tooled version of his 1999 off-Broadway show, "Big Rosemary" in Los Angeles in April 2004. He has completed several new screenplays in recent years: "It Never Rains," "Scapegoat," "10 Again" and "My Life and Crimes." He has also prepared the stage plays, "The Pink Panther" and "A Shot in the Dark" for MGM On-Stage. He has worked on a revival of his classic television series, Peter Gunn (1958).

(1962) Unsold pilot: Created the pilot for an action series starring Charles Bickford to be called "House of Seven".

(1962) Unsold pilot: Produced a pilot for a proposed CBS series called "Johnny Dollar" based on the popular radio show.

(1984) Unsold pilot: Wrote and produced a 60-minute comedy pilot, "The Ferret" for NBC that starred Steve Guttenberg, Robert Loggia and Jennifer Edwards. The title character is a special agent for the United Nations whose disappearance in the pilot leads to an international crime wave. Guttenberg played the title character's son, a jazz musician and amateur inventor who stepped awkwardly into his father's shoes to avenge his death. Hanna-Barbera provided the animated title sequence for what was intended to be a television counterpart to Edwards' "Pink Panther" franchise. Concerns over the size of the budget and the unorthodox (for its day) concept of an hour-long comedy with no laugh track was a bit much for a conservative American network to expect to buy. Edwards' longtime second unit director, Terry Marcel directed the pilot, The Ferret (1984), which was shot on location in Colorado.

(2000) Stage: His musical, "Victor/Victoria," was performed at the Marriott Theatre in Chicago, Illinois, with Kelly Anne Clark in the cast.

Wrote foreword for "My Life Dancing With The Stars" by Miriam Nelson.

(1951-55) Radio: Directed the private-eye series "Barry Craig, Confidential Investigator".

(1996) His musical, "Victor/Victoria," was performed at the Marriott Marquis Theatre on Broadway in New York City with Julie Andrews, Tony Roberts, Michael Nouri, Rachel York, and Mark Lotito in the cast.
