Now Louis Vuitton is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its phenomenally successful collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami by launching a re-edition collection that can be purchased at a pop-up shop that debuted today in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. Open through January 31, the pop-up store will combine an exhibition of original archival pieces with the ability to purchase handbags and other items from what’s been dubbed “Chapter One” of the re-edition collection.

Earlier this year, Paramount and Miramax announced that they are reviving the Scary Movie horror parody series to bring a Scary Movie 6 to theatres sometime in 2025, with the Wayans Brothers back in creative control – and that announcement has inspired us to go back and revisit the earlier entries in the franchise. The cast had mixed feelings when TheWrap talked to them for the new Hulu docuseries “After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun.”

The most enthusiastic performer was David Chokachi, who played lifeguard Cody Madison from 1995 to 1999 on the series, who said “Yeah, sign me up!” without a moment’s hesitation.

“I’ve been pitching a ‘Baywatch’ reboot for years,” he told TheWrap. “At least once every six or seven years, I’d write to the executive producers, like, ‘Why aren’t you guys rebooting the show?’ And finally, they’re rebooting it.”

He said he’s even written a treatment for where Cody has been since 1999, and how and why he comes back to the show. He added, “I think [a reboot will] absolutely, be really popular again. The message of lifeguarding in general is such a positive message.

Fox is releasing a lifeguard series called Rescue: Hi-Surf before its forthcoming Baywatch TV revival. Both series follow similar premises about the personal and professional lives of lifeguards. With Fox doubling down on Rescue: Hi-Surf, a showdown between the two lifeguard dramas is imminent.

Randal Malone, who showed up in dozens of low-budget movies and played a “film star” on the 1990s MTV dating game show Singled Out, has died. He was 66.

Malone died Sunday at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys after a long battle with kidney disease, his family announced.

Since 2004, Malone served as president of the Southern California Motion Picture Council, a charitable organization that was founded in 1936 and remains one of the longest-running groups of its kind.

Spelling, 51, made the revelation on her podcast MisSPELLING in response to a listener’s question about whether she had “gotten her boobs done in a van down by the river,” referencing a popular Saturday Night Live sketch.

“That ’90s Show” has revealed the complete lineup of guest stars for Parts 2 and 3, including Will Forte, Seth Green, Lisa Loeb, Carmen Electra, Wayne Knight, Kevin Smith, Tommy Chong, Jason Mewes, Matt Rife and Kadeem Hardison.
