Per Hulu, Super 8 will appear on the Disney-owned streaming platform beginning Aug. 1. Until its emergence on Hulu, Super 8 is largely available to rent or purchase on major digital platforms, including Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+.

Often compared to subsequent sci-fi sensation Stranger Things, Super 8 was written and directed by J.J.
