Jason Bateman
New Line Cinema is moving forward on a sequel to their hit summer comedy Horrible Bosses, which took in over $200 million worldwide.

Original writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein have signed deals to write the sequel, with stars Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudeikis all expected to return. The studio is also in talks with director Seth Gordon to helm the sequel.

The comedy, which only cost $35 million to make, became a surprise summer hit, earning $117 million at the domestic box office and $209 million worldwide. The Warner Bros. comedy Horrible Bosses will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on October 11. The standard DVD will be priced at $27.87 Srp, while the Blu-ray, which comes with a standard DVD and an UltraViolet Digital Copy, will cost $35.99. The standard DVD will not include any special features. Take a look at the cover art and Blu-ray special features details below.

For Nick (Jason Bateman), Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) and Dale (Charlie Day), the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option, so, with the benefit of a few too many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con, the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers...permanently. There's only one problem: even the best-laid plans are only as foolproof as the brains behind them.
