Catrine McGregor

Catrine McGregor is the founder of GettingIntoActing.com, a respected on-line resource for actors of all levels, ages and parts of the world. She had been working in the film and television industry as a producer, writer, director, and casting director for over 40 years and is a member of the prestigious Casting Society of America (CSA). She produced True Heath: Body Mind, Spirit, which is available on Amazon Prime as well as many other projects. Catrine has done an extensive amount of filming on location, and besides films, TV, and movies-of-the-week, has cast five IMAX movies. Two of the CD-ROM games for which she acted as producer have won Codie Awards - the interactive version of an Oscar. In 2002, Catrine McGregor Casting, CSA cast the feature film Poolhall Junkies (2002). She is proud to have cast Danny Glover's directorial debut, Just a Dream (2002) as well as Salma Hayek's directorial debut, entitled Maldonado Miracle. McGregor is the author of "Acting Across America » and the co-author of "Both Sides of the Desk: A Conversation Between a Casting Director and an Actor." She provided on-line coaching as well as seminars on auditioning and acting nationwide. Catrine now lives in France.
