After 20 Years, Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel Will Try to Finally Settle Their Epic Feud on an Iconic American Game Show
Image
Can Jimmy Kimmeland Matt Damon finally bury the hatchet after 20 years of "feuding"? If Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings has his way, Hollywood’s most playful spat might just come to an end on ABC's Who Wants to be a Millionaire? tonight.

In an exclusive clip shared with Collider, the decades-long feud reignited from last week between the actor and late-night host continues tonight, as Jennings and Damon aim for the top million-dollar prize.

Ken Jennings Promotes Peace Between Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon on ‘Who Wants To Be a Millionaire’

In a hilarious exchange between Jennings, Damon, and Kimmel, the contestants debate using a lifeline to help get them closer to the big payoff. This Is How ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ Included the Late Bob Barker
Image
This article contains spoilers for Happy Gilmore 2.

The newly-released Happy Gilmore 2 features the return of several familiar characters, but sadly, a number of cast members from the original movie have passed away in recent years — from Carl Weathers (who played Happy’s mentor Chubbs), to Joe Flaherty (who played Shooter McGavin’s creepy superfan), to Morris the alligator (who played the alligator).

Then there’s Bob Barker. The Price Is Right host famously played himself in Happy Gilmore, brawling with Happy in what was arguably the most memorable scene in the movie. While bringing Barker back for the sequel likely would have been a no-brainer, unfortunately he died in 2023 at the age of 99 (without going over).

Incidentally, anyone interested in seeing a rematch between Barker and Adam Sandler might want to check out this video from Comedy Central’s 2015 Night of Too Many Stars.

Despite the fact that...

Jimmy Kimmel Challenges Trump to Come on ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’: ‘See How Much That Genius Knows’
Image
Jimmy Kimmel has thrown out a challenge to President Donald Trump to come and test his knowledge on ABC’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, which returned for a new season on Wednesday night (July 23). The late-night host spoke with Extra‘s Paul Costabile on the set of the popular game show ahead of Wednesday’s premiere, which saw Drew Carey and Aisha Tyler win $32,000 before Ken Jennings and Kimmel’s long-time mock rival Matt Damon took to the stage. When asked to reveal his dream contestant, Kimmel told the outlet, “Boy, wouldn’t it be fun to put Donald Trump in that hot seat, see how much that genius knows?” He continued, “I would say [to him], ‘Please, have a seat. I would love to… You know what? Any time you spend on a game show is another hour you’re not being president, so I’m in support of that.

‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’: Aisha Tyler Dishes on Drew Carey & Jimmy Kimmel Snafu
Image
Aisha Tyler and Drew Carey brought the laughs on the season premiere of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? But did they win $1 million for their chosen charities? Host Jimmy Kimmel shared that he didn’t know they were pals, and Carey revealed they had the same manager for a while, and they both hosted Whose Line Is It Anyway? Tyler said that they are like “brother and sister from another mother.” The pair seemed to be in good hands as Carey had been on Millionaire before and won $500,000. The comedians flew through the first few questions, but once they got to the $32,000 question, they got tripped up. The question was “With a whopping 11, which of these singers has more number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 than the other three combined?” The choices were Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Tina Turner, or Britney Spears. Carey and Tyler both deliberated for several...

Bob Barker Had to Be Convinced to Say the B-Word in ‘Happy Gilmore’
Image
With Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore 2 just around the corner, cast members are remembering the good times they had making the original in 1996. Christopher McDonald, who played Shooter McGavin, guested on The Rich Eisen Show this week, reminiscing about one celebrity who passed away before getting a chance to reprise his role.

McDonald made a point to be on set when Sandler squared off against iconic game show host Bob Barker. “I was making the deal on the side with the jackass guy,” he told Eisen, “and then I came down and watched the magic happen.”

The Price is Right star was 71 years old when he made Happy Gilmore, more than 40 years older than Sandler, who was in his 20s at the time. Still, says McDonald, Barker didn’t want to sub out when it came time for their fight scene. “Someone was going to come in, but (Barker) said,...

A The Price Is Right contestant got another chance to be on the game show, and this time won a lot bigger. He didn’t get to check off the last thing on his list, though. Contestant Nicky, from Camarillo, California, won a pair of Exo drones on the July 2 episode. He bid $1,101 on the $1,781 foldable 4k drones, which came with two controllers, a case, six batteries, and 14 propellers. His opponent, Victoria, was only $19 away with her bid of $1,800, but since she went over, the win went to Nicky. Nicky, who had a shirt on that said “Bucket List: Get Tickets, Spin Wheel, Win Showcase,” had everything, but “Win Showcase” marked off. He told host Drew Carey that he was on the show 30 years ago when Bob Barker was the host. “What did you do?” Carey asked him. Nicky shared that he got to play Joker and won some furniture,...

Five Sitcoms That Couldn’t Decide What Their Theme Song Was
Image
When it comes to sitcoms and their theme songs, there are a few different categories. First are those that debut with the perfect theme song and never change it — shows like Cheers, The Jeffersons and Welcome Back, Kotter. Then there are those that keep things fresh by using the same song, but with different arrangements, like how The Cosby Show or Frasier changed its opening theme a bit each year or how Growing Pains kept the same theme, but occasionally altered who performed it. Of course, there are also the shows that completely switch themes. Happy Days, for example, began with “Rock Around the Clock” but transitioned to the more remembered “Happy Days” theme in Season Three.

But there is one more category: The shows that never seem to make up their mind about what their theme song is. Every few seasons, a brand new song introduces the show, only...

‘The Price Is Right’ Player Wins Big After Drew Carey’s Surprising Confession
Image
The Price Is Right contestant Mary Carrion won three prizes after playing a simple game. However, host Drew Carey was shocked at one of the prices and was surprised that it wasn’t the most expensive. Carrion, from Chicago, Illinois, first bid $1,701 on a 665-inch 4K Qled smart television with a streaming media player. The actual price of the TV was $2,129. She was only one dollar above the next highest bidder, so she won the TV and got to play a game for more prizes on Thursday, June 12. As she ran to the stage, Carrion hugged Drew Carey and said “Cleveland rocks!” The host thought she said that because she was from Cleveland, but she revealed that she was from Chicago. Carrion said that because the theme song to The Drew Carey Show was called “Cleveland Rocks” by The President of the United States of America. But, he didn’t seem to get her joke.
