Rob Estes

Edit
  • He and his then wife, Josie Bissett, appeared together on Melrose Place (1992) for two episodes in 1993 where he portrayed a character named Sam Trowler. In 1996, he returned to the series, this time as a regular cast member with a major story line, portraying a different character, named Kyle McBride.
  • One of his first widely seen acting jobs was in the daytime drama Days of Our Lives (1965), portraying the role of Glenn Gallagher (1986-1987). But it was the prime time series, Silk Stalkings (1991), portraying the role of Detective Chris Lorenzo, which finally made him famous, and put his name to the face.
  • Starred in two season three episodes of Gilmore Girls (2000), which was the supposed to be a backdoor pilot for a California-set spin-off series, entitled "Windward Circle," which was to have starred Milo Ventimiglia, Sherilyn Fenn, and Rob Estes. The CW Network ultimately dropped the project, citing cost issues due to filming on location in Venice, California.
  • Estes graduated from the University of Southern California, where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
