John Cena’s Best Finisher Looks Like a Joke After Losing to Cody Rhodes
Image
The match between John Cena and Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2025 was a hot topic, featuring a spectacle of a street fight, marked by Brock Lesnar’s return. However, fans were visibly upset with how poorly the entire match was booked, making the challenger destined to win the Undisputed WWE Championship. Worse than that, Rhodes made the Goat’s finisher look like a joke.

During the match, Cena executed a total of 8 Attitude Adjustments to Cody Rhodes, including one on the announcer’s table, on the ramp, and an Avalanche AA, but to everyone’s surprise, he kicked out. The whole match looked like a joke because this is the same move that has defeated the likes of Aj Styles, Randy Orton, Dwayne Johnson, Big Show, and many more.

What made it frustrating was that the move not only lost its essence, but also how a double Cross Rhodes was enough to put away the champ.

Why Brett Hart and Goldberg Are Not Friends in Real Life, Explained
Image
Goldberg is considered one of the most dominant in-ring athletes to rise to prominence from WWE’s former competitor, World Championship Wrestling (WCW). One of those people was WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart. The Hitman was a marquee star in the Stamford-based promotion in the mid-1990s and had a brief stint in WCW. One person for him to blame for a lackluster and short tenure was Goldberg, who was one of the reasons they are not friends in real life.

Tor Johnson in The Black Sleep (1956)
Tor Johnson. Roddy Piper. Jesse Ventura. Bill Goldberg. Cm Punk. Many wrestlers over the years have made the leap into the horror movie arena, and John Cena could be the next.

John Cena, who is currently halfway through his year-long retirement tour from the squared circle, took part in a 30-minute Q&a at Fan Expo Philadelphia earlier this month and one fan asked him the following question: “If you were to be in a horror film, would you want to be the villain or would you want to be a citizen being killed?” Cena’s simple answer? Yes.

Cena told the crowd, “My answer to that is yes because I’ve never been in a horror film, so I would just want to be in a horror film. If you’re out there and you’re doing it, I’m available.”

“He’s a recluse”: Goldberg and Brock Lesnar Do Not Hate Each Other Like They Did in Their WWE Storyline

This results in heated rivalries, which divide an entire generation of fans, debating, “Who’s the superior talent?” From Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Savage to Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns, WWE is filled with such rivalries.

Surprisingly, one feud tops it all: Bill Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar, a clash so enticing that it made fans believe that all hell would break loose if these two titans stood in the same ring. Triple H Can Give His Dream Retirement Match to John Cena But He Can’t Do the Same for Goldberg
Image
When Paul “Triple H” Levesque first transitioned from his role as a wrestler to a managerial role in WWE, fans were skeptical of how he would perform. Fast forward to 2025, when he took over the company from Vince McMahon and implemented changes that have once again made entertainment wrestling popular among wrestling enthusiasts.

Despite messing up with his plans for the Women’s Division, his creative direction has always received a thumbs-up from the fans and critics. Take, for example, how the idea of John Cena turning heel was a big risk, as he is in his final stretch as a wrestler, but with a clever approach and careful storytelling, the idea has been a big hit.

However, he has his limitations, as The Game can’t fulfill everyone’s wishes, as Goldberg’s retirement dream might be something a little too much for the COO.

The Correct Order To Watch Jean-Claude Van Damme's Universal Soldier Movies
Image
Throughout humanity's long, sad, and seemingly endless history of making war, there has existed a naggingly evergreen question about making the perfect soldier. In a pre-technological age, this question was largely psychological, yet the advent of advanced tech started to open up more possibilities, as well as lead to more dead-ends. To wit: while fully replacing human soldiers with robots would initially seem ingenious, it could also lead to things like malfunctions and the absence of human reasoning and ingenuity. Yet a robot, loaded with a pre-made algorithm, doesn't need to be retrained, and isn't susceptible to the many vulnerabilities a human being is. Surely, there must be a way to combine the two.

Roland Emmerich's 1992 sci-fi action film "Universal Soldier" took this recurring military frustration and turned it into thoughtful genre entertainment. Although Emmerich and his writers (with his old filmmaking partner Dean Devlin chief among them) knew...

I Love Goldberg But I Really Wish Triple H Would Ignore His Final WWE Demand That’s a Waste of Time

Goldberg was one of the greatest wrestlers to ever step into the ring. He made a huge impact on WWE and became a worldwide star thanks to his fighting style and magnetic personality.

Goldberg might have left WWE decades ago, but he can come back to the promotion for one last bout. While some fans are thrilled about his comeback, many hardcore fans are frustrated with WWE’s repetitive approach of bringing him back for short appearances.

Why Goldberg’s final WWE match will be a waste of time Goldberg at a WWE event | Credits- WWE

Over the years, Goldberg has made several comebacks to WWE, wrestled briefly, and then returned to WCW. These repetitive short appearances have become dull, and the excitement around his retirement match has faded.

He made a comeback to WWE at Survivor Series in 2016. He surprised everyone by beating Brock Lesnar and bagging the Universal Championship by defeating Kevin Owens.

How WWE Should Book Jade Cargill's Return From Injury

Since entering WWE, the sensational Jade Cargill has been turning heads, not least for her ability to seemingly overpower any opponent. After a brief but successful run with All Elite Wrestling, she was able to establish her name, but most commentators believe it will be in WWE where she secures her legacy in women's wrestling, as she grows into the surefire superstar she seems destined to become.

Cargill, a former Jacksonville State University basketball player, certainly cuts an imposing figure. At 5'10" and 160 pounds, she made a perfect partner for fellow powerhouse and former Women's World Champion Bianca Belair. Teaming with the veteran and multi-time champion, Cargill was able to watch and learn from her more experienced sidekick. Along the way, the pairing would capture the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

However, when Cargill was injured in November, the title reign was thrown a monkey wrench. Belair would eventually choose another of her friends,...

Darkest Holiday Creatures, Ranked

Halloween summons all kinds of ghouls, ghosts, and monsters, but the holiday season also comes with a collective of dark creatures. Whether it's the creepy Krampus or the gruesome Grither, many movie monsters have audiences checking beneath their tree for more than Santa's annual haul of presents. Strangely, while the season has brought people together, so has a shared dread of these holiday spirits ranked by how dark they are.

Between Santa Claus, La Befana, or any of their gift-giving contemporaries, the holidays have always had their share of icons imparting values of generosity, love, and consideration. However, it shouldn't be surprising that in their shadows usually lurked ghoulish tormentors enforcing tradition and providing consequences for Wintertime troublemakers. While Krampus, the evil "anti-Claus," is the most famous of these monsters, movies have created a slew of new villains for modern mythology.

10 Most Dangerous Finishers In WWE History, Ranked
Image
One thing that can make or break a WWE Superstar is a finisher. A wrestler could have the full package - the look, the aura, the in-ring skill, the best promo skills, etc. - but a good finisher that leaves an impression in the minds of audiences makes all the difference for a wrestler's career. It could be a flashy one, but for a finisher to truly leave an impression, it needs to be brutal and look as dangerous as possible.

Obviously, a finisher should not be as dangerous as to actually injure an opponent, but it helps to look as brutal as some of the examples on this list.

Spear Bill Goldberg Credited With Inventing it

While wrestlers in previous decades like Hacksaw Jim Duggan would do similar moves that would be referred to as a Shoulder Tackle, Bill Goldberg is widely credited as inventing the Spear. At the very least,...

The Longest Yard (2005) Cast & Character Guide
Image
The 2005 remake of The Longest Yard boasts a star-studded cast with notable comedians, veteran actors, football players, and wrestlers. Some of the big names included are Chris Rock, Burt Reynolds, Nelly, James Cromwell, William Fichtner, and more, providing laughs and sports elements. Director Peter Segal collaborates with Adam Sandler to bring together a unique collection of stars that adds to the fun and enjoyment of the film.

2005's The Longest Yard cast is led by Adam Sandler but he also assembled a very interesting ensemble to back him up. Directed by Peter Segal, the sports comedy is a remake of the 1974 film of the same name. Revolving around a washed-out quarterback serving time in prison, he gets a chance at redemption as he assembles a football team of fellow inmates to play against the guards. While the remake falls short of the original, the 2005 version of The Longest Yard still...

‘The Bell Keeper’ DVD Review
Image
Stars: Randy Couture, Kathleen Kenny, Reid Miller, Mike Manning, Bonnie Aarons, Chaz Bono, Cathy Marks | Written by Joe Davison, Luke Genton | Directed by Colton Tran

When the opening scene ended with a pretty cool and gory death, in what was a traditional but fun slasher film build-up, my hopes were kind of high. It feels like we have had very few new slasher movie villains to get excited about. Of course, Michael Myers, Chucky, Ghostface and more are still going strong but other than Art the Clown in the Terrifier franchise, no one seems to have lasted for more than one movie in more recent times. So when Randy Couture is standing tall as Hank, giant axe in hand, things were looking up. But the movie doesn’t quite pan out the way I was expecting.

The Bell Keeper follows a group of friends, including two brothers, who travel to a campsite at Lake Bell.

Goldberg Is Not Interested In Joining Aew ( Photo Credit – Instagram; IMDb )

William Scott Goldberg, aka Goldberg, is a household name, and almost every 90s kid who loved watching pro wrestling was his fan at one point. Amid this, the veteran recently addressed the rumors about joining Aew by using some really brutal words. Keep reading to know more!

The 57-year-old has been associated with WWE for most of his career. Right from the start, he was projected as an unbeatable force and a dominant force inside the ring. His macho persona and no-nonsense attitude earned him millions of fans throughout the globe, and over the years, the same flavor was maintained for his character. Yes, there have been instances where fans witnessed ring rust, but one can’t deny that the superstar is still a big draw.

Ricky Stanicky Proves John Cena Is The Best Beefcake Comedy Star Since Arnold Schwarzenegger
Image
John Cena certainly isn't the first wrestler to become a movie star. Hulk Hogan, Jesse Ventura, and Andre the Giant brought their muscles to the big screen decades ago. The late '90s and early 2000s saw Bill Goldberg and Dwayne Johnson enter the fray, with the latter becoming one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, and he's still going strong. But it wouldn't be until the likes of Dave Bautista and John Cena that we'd get a pair of wrestlers who truly stepped into the world of acting without relying mostly on their muscular presence to do the heavy lifting on the big screen for them, both literally and figuratively.

Dave Bautista has proven to be a reliable supporting star in the superhero blockbuster franchise "Guardians of the Galaxy," but he's also delivered more haunting turns in the likes of "Blade Runner 2049," "Dune," and M. Night Shyamalan's "Knock at the Cabin.

12 Scariest Killer Santa Clauses In Horror Movies, Ranked
Image
Killer Santa Claus movies have been a genre staple for over four decades, subverting the innocence of Santa by turning him into a malevolent murderer. Some killer Santa movies feature the real Santa chopping down bad guys, while others depict an evil version of Santa terrorizing anyone in his path. Many killer Santa movies add a new twist to the slasher horror genre, with lots of dead bodies and Santa tearing through with a vengeance.

Going back to Black Christmas and Halloween, holiday horror movies have remained a genre staple for well over four decades, and this includes Santa horror movies. One of the more terrifying sub-genres includes a killer Santa Claus, which gleefully subverts the childhood innocence of jolly St. Nick by turning the benevolent figure into a malevolent murderer who punishes naughty and nice behavior in equal measure. While several killer Santa Claus movies have been released over the past 50 years,...

2 WWE Wrestlers Have Played Santa In Movies, But Only 1 Was A Disaster
Image
One of two Christmas movies starring a wrestler-turned-actor was a critical disaster and is considered one of the worst movies of all time. The other movie led by a former WWE star fared significantly better due to its R-rated horror comedy style and embrace of the wrestler's heel persona. The latter movie also had a stronger cast and stayed true to what viewers expected from a wrestling superstar's Christmas movie, ultimately outperforming the former.

Two famous WWE wrestlers have played Santa Claus in two unrelated Christmas movies, and only one of these was a critical disaster. While Dwayne Johnson made the transition to movie stardom look easy, not every WWE wrestler who wanted to become a mainstream Hollywood actor has been so lucky. For every John Cena and Dave Bautista, there are many stars like Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin who couldn’t make the jump from the ring to the big screen.

‘Looney Tunes’ Not Leaving Max: “The Show Will Continue Streaming”
Image
Looney Tunes is not leaving Max after all. The streamer had released a list that included the classic cartoons leaving the platform in December.

Max has since revised their “What’s New on Max This December” press release.

“Looney Tunes was included in error as a title leaving the platform,” read the statement clarifying the status of the classic shorts. “This is not the case and the show will continue streaming on Max.”

An outcry from fans of the show followed on social media after believing Bugs Bunny and his friends would not live on the streaming platform anymore.

The error comes a couple weeks after Wbd announced it would be scrapping the already-completed Coyote Vs. Acme for a tax writeoff. The David Zaslav-run company reconsidered the decision after fan backlash and set up screenings for streamers who might want to buy it.

However, it’s not all good...

6 Actors Who Almost Played The Expendables 4 Villain
Image
The Expendables franchise almost had some major Hollywood actors as its next villain, including Jack Nicholson and Bruce Willis. Iko Uwais plays the villain in Expend4bles, bringing a new direction and showcasing his impressive stunt and martial arts skills. Other potential villains considered were Bill Goldberg, Dwayne Johnson, Hulk Hogan, and even Jean-Claude Van Damme's character's twin brother.

The Expendables franchise is known for starring world-famous macho movie stars, but Expend4bles was nearly even bigger than the rest considering the actors who were almost cast as the movie's villain. In the past, the franchise has featured a revolving door of heavyweight action heroes, including Jet Li, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, and a ton of others while retaining its two consistent stars, Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham. The Expend4bles cast isn't quite as impressive, but it does introduce several big-name performers such as Megan Fox, 50 Cent, and Andy Garcia.

NCIS: Los Angeles (2009)
NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 Episode 20 Review: New Beginnings
NCIS: Los Angeles (2009)
The series' penultimate episode did its job, but not much more.

NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 Episode 20 was a placeholder, in between Callen gaining needed revelations about his Drona Project past on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 Episode 19 and the series conclusion.

A placeholder before the Callen-Anna wedding. That's appropriate, right?

To remember that NCIS: Los Angeles is a procedural, there had to be one last case with a name guest star, in this case, mixed-martial arts star Randy Couture.

Couture has been making a name as an action actor over the past two decades (and let's not forget Dancing With the Stars). But this was his first visit to the NCIS universe.

Hey, how about this as a spin-off? NCIS: Chokehold, starring Couture and Bill Goldberg. Fill out the cast with a diverse handful of lesser-known actors and bring in Hulk Hogan as the squad's wily leader.

If the writers' strike lingers,...

Best Christmas Action Films
Image
When the trailer for Violent Night hit, people were excited to check out this new Christmas action film. They were excited by the idea of setting an action film during the holiday season. While that’s great, it’s not a new concept. There have been some great action holiday movies for decades. No, we’re not talking about Jingle All The Way. It’s always a great time to drink some hot chocolate and watch some stuff blow up or someone gets punched in the face while Christmas lights twinkle in the background.

Santa’s Slay (2005)

This one could fall into more of a horror category, but the action is what makes it the most fun. If the opening scene doesn’t get you excited, then you obviously don’t love Christmas. Hall Of Fame wrestler Bill Goldberg plays Santa like you’ve never seen him.

Santa’s Slay (2005) Revisited – Horror Movie Review
Bill Goldberg in Santa's Slay (2005)
The new episode of our The Black Sheep video series doubles as a Christmas viewing recommendation, as we’re taking a look back at the 2005 horror comedy slasher Santa’s Slay (watch it Here) – which stars professional wrestler Bill Goldberg as a very unpleasant Santa Claus. To find out all about the movie and why we think it deserves to be seen by more genre fans, check out the video embedded above!

Written and directed by David Steiman, Santa’s Slay has the following synopsis: It turns out that Santa Claus is not really the sweet old fellow that we all know and love. In fact, he’s a devil and the only thing that’s kept his bad side in check was a bet he lost with an angel. After 1000 years of playing nice, the bet is up and Santa is about to open up a can of Whoop-Ass! The only...

10 Fun Reality Shows You Didn't Know Were On Hulu
Image
With new original content like Best in Dough and shows from so many other networks available, Hulu has a case for being the best place to go for quality reality television. While it is home to major shows like The Kardashians, The Masked Singer, and Hot Ones, there are so many more when you dive a bit deeper.

Since there is so much content there, it's easy to overlook some of the less popular reality shows on the streaming service. They might not be all that well known in general or maybe they just aren't shows you realized were on Hulu but they're all fun.

Hotties (2022-)

A new reality show that isn't all that well known is Hotties, which blends together two popular concepts. It takes the idea of eating foods that has made Hot Ones so famous and mixes it with blind dates, which has always been the rage in the genre.
