Adam Levine Loses $5,000 After Former Voice Coach Pulls Off Epic Prank
Image
The Voice star Adam Levine recently shared in an interview that mentoring singers isn't the only task on hand for the show's coaches: they also find time to prank each other. Adam has been a coach on the reality singing competition show, off and on, since 2011. The Voice season 27 aired earlier this year, but previous judges have included celebrities like Blake Shelton, John Legend, Gwen Stefani, and Christina Aguilera.

Adam and Blake, in particular, have always enjoyed a friendly rivalry as judges on The Voice, and that includes pranking each other.

In an interview with Hot Ones on the First We Feast YouTube channel, as reported by TV Insider, Adam shared that Blake once pranked him to the tune of $5,000. Adam said he had asked Blake to help him get a "teacup pig" for his then-girlfriend. Blake told Adam he could get him a teacup pig for $5,000, but when the...

Because She’s Worth It: Documentary On Advertising Legend Ilon Specht, Directed By Ben Proudfoot, Earns Five Cannes Lions
Image
Two-time Oscar winner Ben Proudfoot is going to need more room in his trophy case.

The filmmaker is returning from Europe with multiple Cannes Lions for his documentary The Final Copy of Ilon Specht, a film about the woman who created the iconic L’Oréal Paris tagline, “Because I’m worth it.”

Those four words, penned in the early 1970s by Specht as a young copywriter for the ad agency McCann-Erickson (now McCann), “empowered generations of women globally,” McCann notes, “and helped to build L’Oréal Paris into the largest beauty brand in the world.”

The short film’s five honors at the 2025 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity include the Grand Prix for Film; Gold for Entertainment, Silver for Entertainment, PR, and a Bronze for Film Craft – the latter award recognizing the work of editors Mónica Salazar and Tim Johnson. Proudfoot shot the film with Specht in the last months of her life.

It almost appears that Madonna loves to invite trouble for herself.

Pink is the latest celebrity on the list to discuss issues with Madonna, sharing that the Like A Prayer singer doesn’t like her. Pink’s story, along with several others, proves that Madonna gets easily offended. A number of celebrities on this list broke their friendship with Madonna over the feuds, while others eventually mended their relationships.

Image
American Music Awards viewers felt seriously duped when behind-the-scenes footage from the show revealed that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton‘s performances were pre-recorded, despite the broadcast promoting them as “live.” After videos from inside the show went viral, Shelton responded to tell his and Stefani’s side of the story. “Just now seeing these stories about Gwen and I pretaping our performances for the Ama’s,” he wrote on X. “We came and performed when the show asked us to.. Really nothing else to say.” He concluded his message with a “person shrugging” emoji. Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Called Out by AMAs Viewers for Performance
Image
Fans online are reacting to videos that reveal that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani‘s performances at the 2025 American Music Awards were not performed live during the Monday, May 26, awards show on CBS. The married couple were also not seen on the red carpet before the event began. TikTok videos from audience members show that Shelton’s performance of his song “Stay Country or Die Tryin'” and Stefani’s medley of her greatest hits were pre-recorded and played on a big screen in the BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau in Las Vegas. While the performances played onscreen, the lights were off on stage as crew members rearranged the set. See the videos below. The performances were recorded live, based on the visible crowds in the videos, but just not during the actual awards show on May 26. Shelton also introduced his wife’s performance, and he did so in front of a crowd.

The guests for the pretaped episode are Bowen Yang, Lily Gladstone, Kelly Marie Tran and Han Gi-Chan, and the daytime talk show’s staff has remixed the lyrics of Jagged Edge’s “Let’s Get Married” to incorporate the title of their new rom-com, The Wedding Banquet. As this reporter narrowly escapes being caught...
