At the Upfronts, Sports Sideline Scripted TV as Studios Lean In to Live Events
Image
In the glory days of the TV upfronts, the broadcast networks would build up to a big reveal: The schedule release.

The fall schedule would be revealed, and media buyers could get a glimpse of what show would get that prized Friends or CSI lead-in.

In 2025, the upfronts still build up to a schedule release, but it isn’t a fall lineup: It’s an NFL game.

The only connective tissue between this year’s upfronts, from NBCUniversal and Fox to Disney, YouTube and Netflix was sports, and the NFL in particular, with every company using their presentation to reveal an upcoming matchup that advertisers will want to buy into. Netflix and YouTube each had NFL commissioner Roger Goodell make the reveals himself (though only Netflix made him wear a Santa Claus-esque coat).

NBCUniversal used its event to tout the return of the NBA on NBC, bringing out John Tesh...

Peacock to offer in-game stats, interactive features for NBA on NBC
Image

Comcast’s streaming service Peacock will offer a number of enhanced features like in-game statistics, real-time highlights and other interactive perks when its broadcast network NBC starts offering games from the National Basketball Association (NBA) later this year.

The features, rolling out later this year and timed to coincide with the start of the NBA season, promise to deliver an “exciting and inclusive streaming experience to draw in the broadest range of basketball fans and celebrate the league’s dynamic elements to give users new ways to get into the game,” Comcast’s NBC Sports said on Monday.

Some of the features, like real-time statistics, are present on other connected TV platforms like YouTube TV and Fubo — and even through Peacock during other events like the 2024 Summer Olympic Games. But Peacock will build on what...

Inside the NBCUniversal Upfront: A Caustic Seth MacFarlane, an Aerial Ad Chief and … John Tesh
Image
The invitation to NBCUniversal’s 2025 upfront presentation promised “a sneak peek at the greatest two years in the history of any media company.”

Hyperbole? You bet. We’ll all be content if the entertainment industry just stays afloat through 2026. But it’s always easier to make lofty claims when you’re first at bat, as Comcast’s evolving TV, film and streaming conglomerate was at Radio City Music Hall on Monday morning. NBCU kicked off a week that will see all major players in ad-supported visual media make a plea for spending commitments in a time when a volatile economy has purse strings ready to snap shut quicker than a gate door at Newark Airport.

Perhaps all that uncertainty is why NBCU chose to open its two-hour program not with a musical performance from whoever’s mentoring on The Voice these days — that was the closer! — but with a tip...

Inside the NBCU Upfront: Seth MacFarlane Takes Aim at Rival Streamers, ‘Wicked’ Gets Another Big Showcase, Snoop Dogg Closes It Like It’s Hot
Image
Seth MacFarlane may have made network upfront history on Monday, opening the NBCUniversal presentation with a song-and-dance routine boasting the chorus, “NBCU has the shit you’re after!”

That was likely the first time any network boasted that they’re “the shit” in their message to advertisers — but it was very on brand, of course, for MacFarlane, whose overall deal with the company has so far generated a live-action Peacock series based on his “Ted” film franchise, and now an animated take on it as well.

Among MacFarlane’s competitive barbs in his number, which kicked off the two-hour NBCU upfront: “You can give all your money to Netflix/ just to have your commercials on auto play/ But I got news, buddy, all your views are the Tinder Dates just busy getting laid.

On Disney and Hulu, where MacFarlane still has a ton of business via his animated series “Family Guy...

NBC Hires Michael Jordan to Contribute to NBA Coverage
Image
In a surprise move, NBC said Monday that it has hired Michael Jordan to contribute to its NBA coverage, which tips off later this year.

Jordan, of course, is widely considered among the greatest, if not the greatest, NBA player of all time, leading the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships.

NBC announced Jordan’s hire during its upfront presentation in New York, after composer John Tesh took the stage for a live performance of the NBA on NBC title theme “Roundball Rock.” Jordan appeared via a video message to announce his return as a special contributor.

“I am so excited to see the NBA back on NBC,” said Jordan in a statement. “The NBA on NBC was a meaningful part of my career, and I’m excited about being a special contributor to the project. I’m looking forward to seeing you all when the NBA on NBC launches this October.

Michael Jordan Joining NBCUniversal’s NBA Coverage As Special Correspondent
Image
NBA legend Michael Jordan will appear as a special correspondent on NBCUniversal’s coverage of the league when it begins its long-term rights deal in this fall.

Drawing cheers from the crowd at Radio City Music Hall on Monday morning, NBCU featured the news in a prominent segment of its upfront presentation to advertisers. Mimicking the famous press release Jordan released when he un-retired from baseball and rejoined the NBA in the 1990s, the company flashed a mock press release on video screens at Radio City saying simply, “I’m back.”

Jordan then appeared in a brief video. “Sorry I can’t be with you,” he said. “I am excited about being a special contributor. … Looking forward to seeing you all when the NBA on NBC launches this fall.”

Now more than 20 years removed from his playing career, Jordan has stayed involved in pro sports as an owner, but has...

The NBA’s newest broadcast deal begins at the start of the 2025-26 season and will see national games split amongst ESPN, Prime Video, and NBC, with games on NBC also set to stream on Peacock. As part of its Upfront presentation on Monday, NBCUniversal revealed new details about the viewing experience fans can expect while streaming NBA games on Peacock.

NBC Sports to Hype Return of NBA With AI-Generated Voice of Announcer Jim Fagan, Who Died in 2017
Image
NBC is making a nostalgia-fueled drive to the hoop to tout the return of the NBA to its airwaves in the fall of 2025 after more than two decades.

In the latest move, NBC Sports announced that it will use an AI-generated voice of former narrator Jim Fagan, who died in 2017 at the age of 72, for its NBA coverage and promotion when its new 11-year NBA media rights deal begins in October. The network said it was employing the AI technology with the participation of Fagan’s family.

The voice of Fagan was “synonymous with NBC Sports’ critically acclaimed coverage of the NBA from 1990-2002,” according to the broadcaster. “His masterful narration drove unparalleled excitement for the league’s biggest matchups and stars, which included Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, Hakeem Olajuwon and many more.”

NBC Sports released a short clip featuring Fagan’s AI-generated voice:

NBC to Use AI to Recreate Voice of Famed NBA Narrator Jim Fagan For Upcoming Season
Image
During the NBA on NBC’s 12 year run from 1990-2002, the broadcasts and promotional spots featured the voice of narrator Jim Fagan, who drove excitement around the games featuring stars like Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, and Hakeem Olajuwon.

NBC lost the NBA rights in 2003, and Fagan passed away in 2017, but when the NBA on NBC returns to the network this fall, his voice will once again be featured in promos, title sequences and show opens, this time teasing stars like Steph Curry, Jason Tatum, and Victor Wembanyama.

NBC says that it is using generative artificial intelligence technology to recreate Fagan’s voice, conjuring up a return to its broadcasts of 25 years ago. Separately NBC Sports also confirmed that it would bring back its iconic “Roundball Rock” theme song, composed by John Tesh.

“For many basketball fans, Jim’s unique and recognizable voice immediately conjures a deep sense of...

‘The World According to Allee Willis’ Review: The Songwriter Who Stretched From ‘September’ to the ‘Friends’ Theme Song Gets a Lively Doc
Image
Showbiz has always made for strange bedfellows. Still, it’s hard to fathom any single personality linking talents as diverse as Pet Shop Boys, Bob Dylan, Fishbone, John Tesh, Diana Ross, Dusty Springfield, Toto, James Brown, TLC, Lulu, Stephen Stills, Tanya Tucker, Bette Midler, Gladys Knight, Scott Baio and Richard Simmons. Yet that list is just the tip of a collaborative iceberg for the subject of “The World According to Allee Willis,” about the late songwriter estimated to have sold over sixty million records.

Among many other accomplishments, Willis was also a compulsive archivist of her own very full life, so Alexis Manya Spraic’s documentary feels like a colorful sampler drawn from near-inexhaustible source materials. Magnolia is opening this entertaining tribute to a hugely successful yet highly idiosyncratic artiste in limited U.S. theaters on Friday.

Greatly influenced by the Motown sounds of her Detroit area youth, Willis was best known for co-writing Earth,...

Josh Tesh slam dunks new “shredded” version of “Roundball Rock”
Image
There’s no better way to get hype for a basketball game than with a little “Roundball Rock”. Ok, so “Sweet Georgia Brown” is up there, too, but John Tesh’s song helped define pro basketball for a generation, with “Roundball Rock” serving as the anthem for NBA on NBC for over a decade. Now, it is set to take the court yet again, as Tesh has delivered another spin on the instrumental.

John Tesh built up the updated version of “Roundball Rock” during an interview on The Dan Le Batard Show (via The Hollywood Reporter) by saying, “We went back into the studio and got me on Hammond organ and a guitar player named Andrew Synowiec, which was pretty incredible, and the rest of my band…I wrote an extra piece to put on the end of ‘Roundball Rock’, and then we did what’s known as the shredded version.

There’s officially a new version of “Roundball Rock,” the iconic theme song for the NBA on NBC.

Composer John Tesh debuted the new version of the song (he calls it the “shredded version”) Thursday morning. Tesh appeared via a pre-recorded video on The Dan Le Batard Show, where he introduced the new version of the song.

“We went back into the studio and got me on Hammond organ and a guitar player named Andrew Synowiec, which was pretty incredible, and the rest of my band,” Tesh said. “I wrote an extra piece to put on the end of Roundball Rock, and then we did what’s known as the shredded version. So get ready, because here’s the first time anybody other than the people in the recording studio are hearing it.”

NBA Officially Reveals Long-Term TV Deals With Disney, NBCUniversal and Amazon
Image
The NBA has finalized its new long-term TV deals, with ESPN and The Walt Disney Co.; NBC Sports and NBCUniversal; and Amazon Prime Video set to be the new home for national NBA games beginning in 2025 and running into 2036.

Disney will remain the NBA’s partner for the “A” package, including the NBA Finals in a deal sources estimate at around $2.6 billion per year. The NBA also found new rights partners in the form of NBC Sports, which is in line to get the “B” package for around $2.5 billion per year, and Amazon for the “C” package at around $1.8 billion per year.

“Our new global media agreements with Disney, NBCUniversal and Amazon will maximize the reach and accessibility of NBA games for fans in the United States and around the world,” said NBA commissioner Adam Silver in a statement. “These partners will distribute our content across a wide range of...

NBC Looking At Bringing Back John Tesh’s Iconic “Roundball Rock” Theme Song For NBA & Olympic Basketball Games
Image
For basketball fans already mourning the potential loss of TNT’s Inside the NBA, there may be some small consolation: NBC may bring back John Tesh’s iconic “Roundball Rock.”

NBCU is reportedly set to bid $2.5 a year for rights to NBA games going forward, according to the Wall Street Journal. If the offer is successful, the company would supplant media rival Warner Bros. Discovery, whose TBS and TNT cable networks began carrying NBA games in 1988. TNT has been the flagship Turner network associated with pro basketball, with its Inside the NBA the gold standard of sports studio shows, since 1989.

The NBA’s other two partners in its next contract are said to be Disney and Amazon’s Prime Video.

If NBC is successful in securing the third slot, it would likely mean the end of the Emmy-winning Inside the NBA, much to the chagrin of sports fans. But when one door closes,...

“Roundball Rock” Revival on NBC? John Tesh Re-recording Hoops Classic As NBA Rights Hunt Heats Up
Image
It isn’t yet clear whether NBC will walk away with rights to NBA games beginning next year (the league is still holding talks with current rightsholder Warner Bros. Discovery, though NBC made an aggressive bid for its package).

But one thing is now clear: “Roundball Rock” will be making a comeback.

The song, composed by John Tesh, was the anthem of The NBA on NBC from 1990 until the network lost NBA rights in 2002.

Tesh was a guest on The Dan Le Batard Show Tuesday, and he was asked whether the network had reached out to him about re-licensing the song.

“They have, actually, yeah,” Tesh said when asked by the radio host about a reach-out from the network. “Nothing firm, but they said, ‘Hey, can you stay frosty on this?’ like a Navy SEALs thing.”

In fact, Tesh added that he was planning to re-record “Roundball Rock” next month,...

NBC Appears to Be Closing in on NBA Deal; Will Warner Bros. Discovery Sue to Keep Rights?
Image
A new report indicates sources in the sports and media world are increasingly convinced the NBA is about to depart TNT.

So will there be a new version of “Roundball Rock,” or will NBC just dust off the John Tesh original starting in 2025? That decision could be on the minds of Comcast executives these days, as they attempt to win a package of NBA rights in the basketball league’s next national broadcasting deal. The company has lodged a $2.5 billion per year bid for a bundle that would include regular season and playoff games, but it has to worry about a challenge from Warner Bros. Discovery, which has been broadcasting NBA games for nearly 35 years. A new report from the Sports Business Journal reveals that NBC is currently in the lead NBA’s third parcel of games, and details how messy the fight between the two contenders just might get.

The 15 Best Daytime Talk Shows Of The ’90s, Ranked
Image
The best 90s talk shows were a mix of tabloid drama and informative content, with some shows focusing on relationships and family issues. Shows like The Jerry Springer Show and Geraldo pushed the boundaries of controversy with outrageous content and brawls. Other shows like Leeza and The Oprah Winfrey Show provided a more inspirational and informative angle, discussing important topics and featuring notable guests.

The best 90s talk shows are usually considered tabloid shows, full of drama and outrageous confrontations — but not all of them follow this formula. The '90s was a decade that brought some of the most entertaining daytime talk shows, from the outlandish like The Jerry Springer Show to tabloid talk shows like Geraldo. The shows ran the gamut and included some big names in the business who went on to accomplish tremendous fame beyond the hosting circuit, along with others who wound down their on-screen...

Conan O'Brien's Late Night Legacy Was Born By Breaking Late Night Rules
Image
A fresh-faced comedian walks through New York after having woken up and feeding his fish. He's got a nearly beatific smile on his face as he's wished good luck and almost instantly told by those same people (with sarcastic tones) that there's no pressure, because he's been chosen to replace one of the most beloved comedians to ever grace the small screen. He's tall, lanky, with a shock of red hair, and he's just barely reached the age of 30. Everyone from John Tesh to Tom Brokaw to passers-by give him some version of these remarks ("Ya better be as good as Letterman!"), and he takes them all in good stride. He walks into 30 Rockefeller Center, gets ready for his first TV hosting gig, taking over the "Late Night" show on NBC at 12:35 am. He walks into his dressing room, where he proceeds to attempt hanging himself. It's only when...

Every Song In Falling For Christmas
Image
Music is one of the best ways to set the mood for the holidays, and the soundtrack of Netflix’s holiday rom-com Falling for Christmas has no shortage of tunes to help conjure the holiday spirit. The Netflix movie follows Sierra, who gets amnesia after a skiing accident and finds herself falling for Jake, the man who takes her in, as she helps him save his struggling lodge. Falling for Christmas utilizes its soundtrack well to establish the Christmas spirit, making the rom-com that much more charming.

Falling for Christmas’ soundtrack has something for everyone, featuring renditions of classic holiday tunes and original songs by its multi-talented cast, including Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet. The soundtrack is not entirely Christmas classics, however, and also includes a few non-holiday-themed tracks. The Netflix rom-com is also rounded out by an original score by Nathan Lanier. Whether it be a Christmas classic, original song,...

Producer Lauren Shuler Donner On Husband Richard Donner: “He Was Larger Than Life, A Great Man”
Image
Lauren Shuler Donner, the wife and sometimes producing partner of husband Richard Donner, who died Monday at age 91, was understandably emotional when I spoke with her today. She expressed sadness at the loss, as well as sympathy for the loss of movie lovers everywhere who were fans of Superman, The Omen, The Goonies, Ladyhawke, Scrooged, the Lethal Weapon movies, Maverick, 1997’s now oddly-timelier Conspiracy Theory and countless others including those he produced like Free Willy, The Lost Boys and X-Men. No question Dick Donner was a giant, and widely admired as you can probably tell from the outpouring of reaction on Deadline.

Steven Spielberg, for whom Donner made the aforementioned The Goonies, called him “the greatest Goonie of them all”.

“He was a great man. I was a very very lucky woman.

Anyway, the film, penned by David Levien and Brian Koppelman ("Rounders"), and directed by Brad Furman ("The Lincoln Lawyer") will tell the story of a Princeton student who gets cheated out of his tuition playing online poker, but winds up as the right hand man of the dude running the site. But that dude is a...

Complete Buffy reviews: Welcome to the Hellmouth / The Harvest
[Note about spoilers: As with the Complete Doctor Who Reviews, the individual (and two-parter) episode reviews form part of an overview of the show as a whole, and as such, contain spoilers for events not only in the episodes in question, but also potentially those in future episodes and seasons. There may also be spoilers for the Buffy spin-off show Angel.]

Welcome to another set of complete reviews in which I attempt to prattle on about two of the most famous Joss Whedon creations: Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997-2003) and Angel (1999-2004).

On the surface of it, a TV series franchise stemming from a so-so movie about a teenage girl who stakes vampires doesn't inspire much confidence. In 1992, the film, Buffy The Vampire Slayer pitted Kristy Swanson as the eponymous heroine against a mean old vampire king called Lothos and his motley crew of blood-sucking fiends. The movie didn't exactly set the world ablaze, staked by lukewarm reviews and moderate box office takings.

Writer Joss Whedon was nothing if not persistent though. Translating the original concept to the small screen was something of a gamble, given the tepid reactions to the preceding film. How could it possibly work?

And yet, sixteen years later, Buffy is still a huge phenomenon. Seven seasons were produced.

The 10 Hottest Men of "Dancing With the Stars"
Dancing With the Stars has never been my bag, but the reality juggernaut boasts three big perks: 1) Tom Bergeron is and always has been an exceptional host, and it's nice to see the veteran of Hollywood Squares and the cult FX talk show Breakfast Time helm a hit series with Emmy-winning flair; 2) Carrie Ann Inaba is a great judge; 3) Excepting So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With the Stars has given us the hottest men in reality TV history. The constant shirtlessness is a big help.

Since the show just wrapped its all-star season with an all-female Final 3, let's reorient ourselves with a look back at the movers and shakers we care most about: the sweaty, sweaty dudes.

10. Evan Lysacek

Figure skater Lysacek jumped from his gold medal-winning streak in Vancouver to Dancing With the Stars in record speed, and thank God: He was a sexy mover! He also...

Saturday Night Live (1975)
Louis C.K. Hosts 'SNL' - What You Didn't See
Saturday Night Live (1975)
Saturday Night Live continued its host hot streak as Louis C.K. took the stage and dominated this weekend's show.

Embracing the kind of warped normalcy that permeates his Emmy-winning FX series, Louie, gave SNL the license to be more irreverent and inspired than normal (see: Hotel Fees). I had the great pleasure of attending the dress rehearsal this weekend, which allowed me to see an extra 30 minutes of sketches that never made it to air as the cast produces more material than can fit in the 90 minute show and uses the dress rehearsal audience as a litmus test for laughter.

Photos - How The Stars Spent Their Weekend

I firmly believe our collective response to the wonderfully weird Australian Screen Legends sketch vaulted it from the end of dress to top of the live show. Sadly, two truly amazing pieces were lost during this undoubtedly Sophie's Choice-esque process. I mean, both were superior...

Rob McElhenny Talks It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 7
Rob Mac
Heyo! The gang from Paddy's Pub is back as It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia kicks off Season 7 Thursday, September 15 at 10 Pm Et. As you may have noticed, one of the cast members, Rob McElhenney, who plays Mac, has "bulked up" significantly, putting on at least 50 pounds for this new season.

Rob McElhenney recently held a conference call to discuss Season 7 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. And his very fat ass. Here's what he had to say below.

How much of the show is scripted versus you guys just riffing?

Rob McElhenney: Well, we usually try to do at least one or two takes completely scripted. So, we very carefully and arduously over probably the longest span of the production cycle spend writing, and I'd say we get at least one or two, maybe three, takes of it exactly as scripted. And then from that point forward we'll ad...

Mary Hart Tapes Final Entertainment Tonight Episode with Friends
Mary Hart
After nearly 30 years hosting Entertainment Tonight, the day has come for Mary Hart to put down her mic. Hart, 60, whose hosting duties will be fulfilled by Nancy O'Dell, 45, was surprised with a party on stage after her final taping on Thursday. Unexpected guests, including Hart's former co-hosts John Tesh (co-hosted from 1982-1996), Bob Goen (co-hosted from 1993-2004) and Robb Weller (co-hosted from 1984-1986), were brought out for the big farewell. Additionally, Natalie Cole surprised Hart and serenaded the departing host with her hit, "Unforgettable." Admitting in November that leaving Et was "not an easy decision," Hart said, "Knowing I will...

Oprah Winfrey has a sister
Like many things on Oprah’s show, this sounds like a soap opera plot, but it’s actually the real deal – Oprah Winfrey recently discovered that she has a half-sister she never knew about, and they had a big, tearful reunion on the show this week.

Her sister’s name is Patricia, she’s nine years younger than Oprah, and according to Oprah, she never even knew her mother was pregnant. It’s difficult enough to imagine what an emotional thing it must be to find your family, no matter who they end up being, but to discover that your sister is Oprah? That’s just crazy. It’s like winning the lottery twice in a row!

Mary Hart will depart 'Entertainment Tonight' next year
New York (AP) - Longtime "Entertainment Tonight" host Mary Hart is leaving the show after her upcoming 30th season. Hart said Thursday that it's time for a change, but she'll be leaving with mixed sentiments. It's not clear when her last day will be, but a television season traditionally ends in May. The former English teacher from Sioux Falls, S.D., joined "Entertainment Tonight" in 1982, working most prominently with John Tesh. She's kept the job as the entertainment news industry grew around her. "Et" is the original entertainment newsmagazine and still leads in the ratings. No replacement has been named. One...

Oprah Winfrey in The Oprah Winfrey Show (1986)
Kitty Kelley's unauthorized Oprah bio to become movie: Who should play the Queen of All Media?
Oprah Winfrey in The Oprah Winfrey Show (1986)
Kitty Kelley’s scandalous, very unauthorized Oprah Winfrey biography will be getting the movie treatment, EW has confirmed. Oprah: A Biography has been optioned by Larry Thompson, who brought us biopics about Lucy and Desi Arnaz, Sonny and Cher, and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor — with the project on track to debut around the same time as Winfrey’s Sept. 2011 sign-off. The book, which Winfrey dismissed as a “so-called biography,” included hints at drug use, a secret birth father, and a liaison with John Tesh in the talk queen’s past — so while it won’t likely get...

Conan O'Brien
Conan O'Brien on '60 Minutes': Will too much NBC-Leno talk turn him into a victim?
Conan O'Brien
Let me start by saying I am a huge Conan O'Brien fan. Huge. So much so that if he had no choice but to broadcast his show from a cockroach-infested 7-Eleven on the wrong side of the tracks -- or in a turkey pen with John Tesh -- I would still tune in every night. So that's precisely why I'm a tad worried about Coco's 60 Minutes interview this Sunday. According to early transcripts that have circulated, Conan is quite candid when discussing January's late-night fiasco, saying that if he were Leno, he would not have taken The Tonight Show back: "I know me,...

Oprah Winfrey Finally Addresses "So-Called Biography"
Oprah Winfrey in The Oprah Winfrey Show (1986)
Oprah Winfrey's never been one to toss around the diss. Needless to say, on the rare occasion she does, it's packed with sizzle. And a whole lotta class. Last week, author Kitty Kelley released a book on the media maven, alleging that Winfrey rules by fear, used drugs, has a secret birth father and even dated John Tesh. Oprah: A Biography also did nothing to halt the infamous gay rumors. Still, the usually loquacious Winfrey was mum on the subject. Well, until yesterday. Oprah was in New York City to present a New York Women in Communication Matrix Award to Bff Gayle King and took the opportunity to coolly admit what she really thinks of that book, calling it a "so-called...

Frank Sinatra
Oprah Book: That's It...John Tesh?!
Frank Sinatra
Somewhere, Frank Sinatra's steamed. And so are we. When the Chairman of the Board got the Kitty Kelley treatment, we got first-class dirt—ham and eggs off the chest of a prostitute, anyone? Now it's Oprah Winfrey's turn, and we get—what? A relationship with John Tesh? A "volcanic" affair with a radio DJ? Rumors of "giggly late-night phone calls" to Diane Sawyer? For this, Kelley's been shunned by the talk-show circuit? Seriously? To be honest, we haven't exactly read the just-released Oprah: A Biography, unless going over the rundowns and thumbing through the index during lunchtime at Barnes & Noble counts. But from what we understand—and just so you...
