The 15 Best Episodes Of ER, Ranked
Image
It's not an exaggeration to say that "ER" is one of the most revered television shows of all time. Considered the gold standard of TV medical dramas, "ER" most certainly paved the way for contemporary medical series such as "Grey's Anatomy," the only such show that boasts more episodes. The recipient of 23 Emmy awards over 15 seasons, "ER" has been equally lauded for its writing, acting, medical accuracy, and high-quality production.

Accolades aside, "ER" leaves an imprint on anyone who watches it, though its popularity has waned in recent years. Thankfully, with the massive success of "The Pitt," produced by "ER" star Noah Wyle alongside Scott Gemmill and John Wells, "ER" has gained a new wave of fans experiencing the show for the first time.

While many "ER" fans prefer the first several seasons, "ER" was always good, even a dozen seasons in, and it was very often great. What follows...

Major Law & Order Star Makes A Shocking Exit After 3 Seasons
Image
Mehcad Brooks will not be returning to Law & Order for its 25th season. Brooks played Detective Jalen Shaw for three seasons, replacing Anthony Anderson in 2022. The actor, who was previously seen on ABC's Desperate Housewives and who will reprise his role as Jax in the upcoming Mortal Kombat II, was a favorite among Law & Order fans.

Brooks' exit was reported by Deadline. His decision to leave the show was reportedly mutual and due to a desire to explore other acting opportunities. Brooks' exit from the franchise marks the third departure of a detective character since the show's revival in 2022, following both Anderson and Jeffrey Donovan.

Law & Order faces a major shakeup ahead of its landmark Season 25. Deadline reports that Mechad Brooks, who plays Detective Jalen Shaw, is exiting ahead of the upcoming season. Brooks starred as Detective Shaw for three seasons. Deadline reports that the "parting of ways" was mutual and Brooks is already "exploring other opportunities." ‘Law & Order’ Shocker: Mehcad Brooks Exiting Ahead of Season 25
Image
Law & Order is once again losing a detective. Mehcad Brooks, who has played Detective Jalen Shaw since Season 22, having been introduced in the premiere, will not be returning, Deadline reports. The finale in the spring didn’t even hint at his exit, so the Season 25 premiere will have to explain what happened, likely in a conversation between his now former partner, Vincent Riley (Reid Scott), and the new detective or Lieutenant Jessica Brady (Maura Tierney). The outlet reports that everyone else will be returning for Law & Order Season 25: Maura Tierney as Lieutenant Jessica Brady, Reid Scott as Detective Vincent Riley, Hugh Dancy as A.D.A. Nolan Price, Odelya Halevi as A.D.A. Samantha Maroun, and Tony Goldwyn as District Attorney Nicholas Baxter. Goldwin and Scott’s contracts had previously only taken them through Season 24. Brooks’s Shaw won’t be the first character whose onscreen...

Mehcad Brooks Exits ‘Law & Order’ After 3 Seasons
Image
Mehcad Brooks has solved his last case on “Law & Order” after three seasons, TheWrap has learned.

The actor, who joined the cast as a series regular in Season 22 as Detective Jalen Shaw, has left the series ahead of Season 25. The decision was mutual from both Brooks and the show’s creative team, as the actor pursues other opportunities.

It’s unclear if Brooks’ character will receive a farewell on the show or if his exit will be explained off-camera. Casting is underway for a new detective to join the cast in his absence.

The rest of the “Law & Order” team is set to return for the milestone season. That includes Tony Goldwyn and Reid Scott, whose contracts were also up for renewal this year. The rest of the ensemble includes Maura Tierney, Hugh Dancy and Odelya Halevi.

Detective Shaw joined the “Law & Order” team after the exit of Anthony Anderson’s Kevin Bernard.

Image
Exclusive: Mehcad Brooks is departing NBC’s Law & Order after three seasons as Detective Jalen Shaw ahead of the venerable crime drama’s upcoming 25th season, Deadline has learned. According to sources, the parting of the ways was mutual, with Brooks already exploring other opportunities.

The rest of the Law & Order main cast, including Tony Goldwyn and Reid Scott, whose contracts were up at the end of last season, Hugh Dancy, Odelya Halevi and Maura Tierney, are set to come back, sources said. As Deadline reported in May, most actors on NBC’s Law & Order and Chicago franchises will be in fewer episodes next season as part of a cost-savings measure.

Brooks stepped in as a detective on Law & Order in 2022, filling the void left by the departure of Anthony Anderson. Casting of a new detective has just gotten underway.

5 Times the New York Real Estate Market Drove TV Comedy Characters to Extremes
Image
Warning: Contains spoilers for the plot of the latest episode of Poker Face, “A New Lease on Death.”

Whether or not you’ve ever lived in New York City, you probably know one thing about it: The rent, famously, is too damn high. This means the competition for decent housing options can be fierce; motivated tenants should be ready to do whatever it takes. In real life, that might mean going to a desirable neighborhood to walk the streets hoping to spot a “For Rent” sign, checking obituaries for imminent vacancies or bribing a landlord for special consideration. On TV, things can get even wilder.

5 NewsRadio

Dave (Dave Foley), on the verge of losing his current place, tours a vacant apartment and loves practically everything about it. But he’s not the only one who wants it: the very next would-be tenant is Lisa (Maura Tierney). Things get contentious immediately,...

8 True Stories That Inspired Hollywood’s Greatest Biographical Drama
Image
Films have a magical ability to transport us across worlds and time when done right. While fictional tales have their own magic, some stories are so extraordinary, so deeply human, that they deserve to be told on the silver screen.

Such biographical dramas, rooted in real-life events, have the rare power to not only captivate and entertain but also to educate and inspire. These films peel away the layers of history and paint a picture of the triumphs, struggles, and complexities of some of the most remarkable individuals who helped shape the world and occasionally, and made it a better place.

From tales of heroism in the face of unimaginable horrors and adversities to stories of quiet resilience, Hollywood has no shortage of biographical dramas that resonate. Although there are times when the creative flair takes over and adds a bit of dramatic flourish to create a story worthy of cinematic appeal,...

Ahead of Superman's Release, Star David Corenswet's Disaster Movie Rises on Streaming
Image
Ahead of Superman, audiences are revisiting, or perhaps watching for the first time, David Corenswet's previous big screen outing, 2024's Twisters. The disaster movie is currently climbing the charts on Prime Video.

Per FlixPatrol, Twisters is currently No. 5 on Prime Video's U.S. Top 10 Movies list, sitting just below The Accountant 2, The Accountant, Oblivion, and The Beekeeper, all of whom are making their debut on the list. Twisters has jumped up three spots from yesterday, where it was at No. 8. Coincidentally, No. 8 is where Twisters is currently sitting on Prime Video's Top 10 Overall list for the day, coming in under the series Clarkson's Farm, Motorheads, and The Better Sister and the aforementioned four movies.

Serving as a standalone sequel to the 1996 disaster movie Twister, Twisters was directed by Lee Isaac Chung from a screenplay by Mark L. Smith. "Haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado, meteorologist...

'Twisters' Is Whirling Up the Prime Video Streaming Chart
Image
Tornadoes can be terrifying, but that doesn't stop people from watching a movie about them. In real life, there are courageous storm chasers who start their potentially dangerous journey with one mission: to look a storm in its eye, or rather, get up close and personal to study it or admire its scary beauty. While when this happens in real life, fear takes over those at home getting alerts and warnings from meteorologists to take cover, movies like Twistersare entertainingly whirling up the charts. According to Flix Patrol, the 2024 film is among the top movies to watch on Prime Video.

It hasn't left the top ten on the chart and is currently staying in the top three. Twisters is a sequel to Twister (1996), which starred Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton. The Glen Powell-led production follows a clashing group of storm chasers who investigate a tornado outbreak in Oklahoma.

'Law & Order' and 'Law & Order: Svu' Both Renewed at NBC
Image
The Law & Order franchise is arguably one of the most successful police procedural crime dramas in television history. What began in 1990 with the original Law & Order, turned into decades of viewers watching episode after episode of investigations and apprehensions of suspects by seasoned detectives. Fast-forward to more than 30 years later, the original series and the first spin-off, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, are still going strong. And things are set to get even stronger, as NBC has decided to renew both.

According to Variety, the renewals will mark Law & Order's 25th and Svu's 27th seasons. They were the last in the Dick Wolf television universe to be renewed, as all three Chicago series are making a return. In addition, another series in the franchise is also in good standing. On Peacock, Law & Order: Organized Crime recently launched its fifth season. Fans can now relax,...

Law & Order and Law & Order: Svu's Future on NBC Revealed Following Shocking Cast Departures

NBC is keeping its Law & Order franchise intact for another season. The Dick Wolf-created Law & Order and Law & Order: Svu have both just been renewed for the 2025-26 broadcast season.

Per Deadline, Law & Order will return for its 25th season, while Svu will be back for its 27th. The renewals come less than a week after it was reported that Svu stars Juliana Martinez and Octavio Pisano were finished as series regulars. Martinez joined the Svu cast this season as Detective Kate Silva, while Pisano has been with the drama series since Season 23 as undercover detective Joe Velasco. It is unknown at this time whether the Season 26 finale, "Post-Rage," set to air on NBC on May 15, will wrap up the characters' storylines. ‘Law & Order: Svu’ And ‘Law & Order’ Renewed For 2025-26 After Combined 50 Seasons On NBC
Image
Wolf Entertainment’s slate of NBC series will remain intact. Days after the network renewed the company’s three Chicago dramas, it has done the same for the two Law & Order ones, Law & Order: Svu and the mothership series.

Svu, headlined by Mariska Hargitay, will return for a record 27th season. Law & Order, which took a 12-year cancellation break, will be back for its 25th season. Both are having their best seasons on Peacock in total viewers in Live+35, having reached combined more than 44 million total viewers across linear and digital platforms this season.

The two Law & Order renewals were never in doubt: as Deadline reported exclusively, in anticipation of Svu‘s pickup, the series last month tapped Michele Fazekas as new showrunner, the first woman to run the veteran procedural.

Yet, like the One Chicago ones, the renewals were not straightforward and involved some cost-trimming, I hear,...

An ESPN Star Is ’Law and Order’s Next Victim
Image
An ESPN star is coming to this week's episode of Law & Order, but he's not going to make it past the opening credits. First Take commentator Stephen A. Smith will play the victim du jour in "Tough Love," a new episode of the procedural flagship that will air on May 8. Variety reports that Smith will fulfill a longtime dream by appearing on the NBC series, which will conclude its 24th season later this month.

Smith will star as a hard-charging sports agent who's found stabbed to death in "Tough Love": with plenty of suspects and a mountain of evidence but no clear motive, prosecutors Nolan Price (Hugh Dancy) and Samantha Maroun (Odelya Halevi) are stumped. It was a dream come true for the opinionated Smith, who was recruited by the episode's writer: "One of the writers, her name was Pam Wechsler, I ran across her in Los Angeles.

A Fan Favorite The Pitt Star Doesn't Remember Crossing Paths With Noah Wyle On ER
Image
There's a lot to love about the new hit Max medical drama "The Pitt." The series was created by "ER" producer R. Scott Gemmill and follows one 15-hour shift at the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center's emergency room, led by senior attending Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch (Noah Wyle) and charge nurse Dana Evans (Katherine Lanasa).

Each episode is one hour in the shift, making for an incredible sense of urgency that mimics the life-or-death nature of actually being in an emergency situation, and having some cast members with real-life experience helps keep it all authentic. In addition to casting medical professionals as some of the background actors, there are also some former "ER" stars, like Wyle and Shawn Hatosy, who plays night shift attending Dr. Jack Abbott. And, it turns out, everyone's favorite charge nurse also had a short stint on the classic NBC series.

Lacey Von Erich Criticizes A24’s ‘The Iron Claw’ for Misrepresentation
Lacey Von Erich
Lacey Von Erich, daughter of late professional wrestler Kerry Von Erich, has criticized The Iron Claw for its portrayal of her father in the A24 biographical film. Speaking in a preview for an upcoming episode of Hollywood Demons on Investigation Discovery, she said the film left out significant aspects of his personal life.

“My sister and I were not in the movie as my dad’s children and he didn’t have a wife or anything,” she said. “And that was a really big part of my dad. So how he was portrayed in the movie is so inaccurate that it was heart-wrenching.”

Kerry Von Erich, played by Jeremy Allen White, is depicted in the film during a period that includes his motorcycle crash, the resulting foot amputation, his use of painkillers, and his death by suicide in 1993. The film does not mention his wife, Catherine Murray, or their daughters,...

Daughter of Real-Life ‘Iron Claw’ Wrestler Slams A24 Film as ‘Heart-Wrenching’ and ‘Inaccurate’

The Von Erich family is speaking up to say A24 got it wrong.

In a forthcoming episode of Investigation Discovery’s docuseries “Hollywood Demons,” which airs Monday, Lacey Von Erich, the daughter of Kerry Von Erich (played by Jeremy Allen White), said A24 left out some crucial details with its portrayal of her professional wrestler father.

“My sister and I were not in the movie as my dad’s children and he didn’t have a wife or anything,” Lacy Von Erich said in a preview for “Hollywood Demons” (via The Independent). “And that was a really big part of my dad. So how he was portrayed in the movie is so inaccurate that it was heart-wrenching.”

“The Iron Claw” depicts Kerry Von Erich’s motorcycle incident, which led to his foot amputation, his addiction to painkillers and ultimately his suicide. However, the film omits his wife, Catherine Murray, and his two daughters.

“Careful What You Wish For”: Maura Tierney Reveals the ‘Law & Order’ and ‘Svu’ Crossover’s Unexpected Connection to ‘ER’
Image
No one can stop talking about the action-packed crossover event between Law & Orderand its similarly successful spin-off, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, but who can blame them? Titled "Play with Fire Part 1 and Part 2," the episode aired on Thursday, April 17, and in it, Maura Tierney, who joined the original show this season as Lt. Jessica Brady, finally got to be a badass –physically, for the first time. With the two-hour event now over and done with, the actress broke it down to Deadline, comparing a few details to her stint on ER, including one major unexpected connection.

Before the exciting Law & Order crossover, it had been a minute since Jessica “played that rough,” and she acknowledged so in the episode with that amusing line. Apparently, Tierney has always wanted to do stunts in the police procedural, which she further elaborated on and, at the same time, divulged how that connected to ER,...

Law & Order crossover: Our spoiler filled recap for the shocking 2025 event
Image
Law & Order promised an ambitious crossover, and it did not disappoint. The flagship series and Law & Order: Svu joined forces for a two-part storyline titled "Play with Fire," and it did a great job when it comes to incorporating different characters into a compelling investigation. Here's what you need to know about the crossover, and what went down. Spoilers, obviously.

The crossover event begins with an Ice raid on a homeless shelter. We watch as two women split up and manage to outrun their potential captors, and agree to reunite at a youth hostel. The only issue is, one of them, "Sofia", never showed. The other women then stumbled upon a burnt body in an oil drum and determined that it was "Sofia." Horrified, she calls Captain Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) to help figure out what happened.

The case was ruled a homicide so it was passed...

‘Law & Order’ & ‘Svu’ Crossover: Hugh Dancy on Price Going Toe-to-Toe With Benson
Image
[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the Law & Order and Svu crossover, “Play With Fire.”] Law & Order and Svu team up to track down a serial rapist and murderer in a crossover event. It’s personal for both Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Brady (Maura Tierney): One of the victims is the young girl the former rescued who then became a cop, Maria, and another is an unsolved case of the latter’s. It soon becomes clear that the man responsible is none other than Maria’s lieutenant (Reinaldo Faberlle) — who then sends someone to Benson’s son’s school and approaches him. Benson, of course, is pissed; Stabler (Christopher Meloni) appears in one scene to make sure the man who went to Noah knows never to go anywhere near her or him again. In the end, Price (Hugh Dancy) and Carisi (Peter Scanavino) successfully team up in court to get a guilty verdict. Below, Dancy unpacks the ...

“In This Case, Nobody’s Stepping Back” ‘Law & Order’s Hugh Dancy Explains the High-Stakes Crossover With ’Svu’
Image
In a matter of hours, fans will sit down for the Law & Order crossover event. The flagship Law & Order as well as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will join together to solve a case that is all-too personal for Mariska Hargitay's Captain Olivia Benson. Ahead of the crossover, Law & Order star Hugh Dancy (Ella Enchanted), who plays Ada Nolan Price, teased to TVInsider what to expect from the high-stakes event.

"I think that one of the reasons both episodes are really strong is because it brings Benson and Brady (Maura Tierney) together in a very interesting way, and I think Mariska and Maura are both fantastic together, and that’s because this case really ties back into their past for both of them separately in very personal ways, and that’s part of the DNA of the story, I guess, is how much should that personal connection drive you...

The Pitt’s Katherine Lanasa Recalls Her Week on ER — But Does She Remember Meeting Noah Wyle?
Image
Long before she charmed audiences as Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center charge nurse Dana Evans, The Pitt’s Katherine Lanasa guest-starred on Noah Wyle’s previous medical drama, ER. Funnily enough, though, she has no memories of encountering TV’s erstwhile John Carter during her one-week stint at Chicago’s Cook County General.

“I don’t even think I met Noah [at the time],” Lanasa tells TVLine. “I remember I met Maura Tierney. She had done NewsRadio with Vicki Lewis, and I was on this NBC show called Three Sisters with Vicki Lewis, so we had that connection.”

‘Law & Order’-‘Svu’ Crossover: Hugh Dancy on Price & Carisi Teaming Up, Working With Mariska Hargitay
Image
The Law & Order and Svu detectives and lawyers are teaming up for a case that’s personal to the leaders of both squads, Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Brady (Maura Tierney), in the April 17 crossover. It all begins with a mysterious phone call that Benson receives, which leads to the scene of a brutal murder. The victim, as the promos have revealed, is Maria, whom Benson saved as a young girl and then she went on to become a cop. Svu and the 2-7 then uncover a pattern of rape and murder targeting marginalized women, and it’s up to ADAs Carisi (Peter Scanavino) and Price (Hugh Dancy) to charge the suspect with multiple crimes. Below, Dancy previews the crossover. Talk about filming the crossover. How was that for you? Hugh Dancy: It’s always a fun little like exchange trip because obviously you don’t film both at the same time.

“Benson and Brady Have the Same Goal”: ‘Law & Order’ Showrunner Teases Tension Between Mariska Hargitay and Maura Tierney in ‘Svu’ Crossover
Image
Things might not be all sunshine and rainbows when the 2-7 and the 1-6 join forces again in the upcoming Law & Order crossover. This Thursday's crossover between Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, "Play With Fire" parts 1 and 2 will bring the 27th and 16th precincts together after the murder of a woman with personal ties to Captain Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay). According to Law & Order showrunner, Rick Eid, the crossover will inevitably see Benson and Maura Tierney's Lieutenant Jessica Brady butting heads. He tells TVInsider:

“Benson and Brady have the same goal,” Eid explains, “but may not always arrive at it in the same way.”

The possibility of a conflict between Benson and Brady is more apparent in Svu's crossover promo, rather than in the one for Law & Order. In the promo for "Play With Fire" part 2, Benson seemingly says to Brady "sometimes you have to ask for forgiveness instead of permission.

Law & Order boss reveals why upcoming crossover event will be most cinematic yet
Image
Law & Order laid the groundwork for the Dick Wolf television world we all live in today. The franchise has been around since 1990, and incredibly, has managed to keep pace with the various Wolf shows that have followed in its wake. Part of the reason why is the franchise's ability to stage memorable and impressive crossover events.

Law & Order has made a point of setting up at least one crossover a season for the past few years, and 2025 is no exception in this regard. Law & Order and Law & Order: Svu will be joining forces for a two part event on Thursday, April 17 (Law & Order: Organized Crime will close out the block but not be connected in terms of story). It's a tried and true formula, but this crossover is going to be different from all the rest, according to franchise showrunner Rick Eid.

‘Law & Order’ Boss Previews ‘Svu’ Crossover and Benson & Brady Conflict
Image
Law & Order fans get a treat on April 17: A crossover with Svu (the last was in September 2022) pairing the Manhattan North Homicide and Special Victims units led by Lieutenant Brady (Maura Tierney) and Captain Benson (Mariska Hargitay). “The episodes will feel like a two-hour movie,” says L&o showrunner Rick Eid, “while it’s still in keeping with Law & Order‘s format of the police investigating a crime and the attorneys prosecuting the offenders. We’ll also find the Da’s office conversing with detectives as they get closer to arresting a suspect, and some of our detectives will take the stand in court.” What precipitated the crossover now? As Eid explains, “Mariska filmed a few scenes with us at L&o earlier this season, and we knew we wanted to see Maura and Mariska together again on the screen. So both writers’ rooms came up with a storyline in mind,...

Why Noah Wyle Left NBC's ER
Image
In the very first episode of "ER" — the landmark medical drama created by "Jurassic Park" novelist Michael Crichton — we meet John Carter, an ambitious but obviously overwhelmed third-year medical student played by Noah Wyle. Alongside other original cast members Anthony Edwards, George Clooney, Eriq La Salle, and Sherry Stringfield, just to name a few, Wyle's John helped shape the word of "ER," a gritty, realistic medical show set in Chicago's fictional County General Hospital. Wyle and Carter did leave "ER" full-time in the show's 11th season — though he made cameo appearances as the show drew to a close in its season 15 — but when John Carter finished out his run on the "ER," he became the show's longest-running character.

So why did Wyle leave the show that made him famous? In April 2005, CBS News reported that Wyle would leave the show as a regular but agreed to return for four...

Ramon Rodriguez Is Captivating on Will Trent, But I’ll Never Forget His Chilling Previous Role
Image
With Will Trent’s buzzy third season setting the TV ratings on fire, I’ve been thinking a lot about Ramon Rodriguez‘s previous TV roles.

On Will Trent, he plays a charismatic special agent with a past who is known for being highly observant and solving the highest proportion of cases in the Gbi.

Ramon embodies the character to perfection, showing every facet of his emotion.

(Showtime/Screenshot)

While the series has focused on some serious aspects, Will’s infectious personality has solidified him as one of the best characters on the small screen.

Ramon has had interesting roles throughout his career, such as Bakuto in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Ryan Lopez on Fox’s one-and-done Gang Related.

(Daniel Delgado Jr/ Disney)

However, I think I speak for everyone who watched The Affair when I say that his performance as Ben Cruz is his most chilling.

Ben was...

Law & Order and Svu set an April date for a crossover (get the details)
Image
We’re finally getting a Law & Order crossover event that includes a one-night Organized Crime return to NBC!

It’s been a while since we had a Law & Order crossover. The last one was the Law & Order: Svu Season 24 and Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 3 finales linking together on a tough case.

It is commonplace for some characters to pop up on other shows, as Benson (Mariska Hargitay) stopped by Law & Order while an episode of Svu had Carisi (Peter Scanavino) meeting Da Baxter (Tony Goldwyn) in a case. Aside from that, the shows haven't done as many of the big crossover events as the One Chicago series.

Now, we finally have a date and info on the next big Law & Order crossover!

What is the Law & Order crossover about?

Per TVLine, Thursday, April 17, will have a two-part storyline that begins on Law & Order before moving to...

Twisters Spins Its Way to New Streaming Home and Finds Instant Success
Image
After swirling through the box office and making an impact, Twisters spins its way onto a new streaming service. The long-awaited sequel to the award-winning original, Twister, debuts on Amazon Prime Video and finds instant success on the popular streamer.

Twisters debuted via Prime Video on Mar. 18, nearly eight months after its theatrical debut, and is already the top-ranked movie on the platform. The disaster film sequel's Prime Video success adds to its streaming prowess on Peacock, where it debuted last November and outperformed the Oscar-winning Oppenheimer with its early returns.

Coming nearly three decades after the Oscar-nominated Twister, Twisters is a standalone sequel to the original, not carrying over characters or storylines from the first film, though it maintains the movie's spirit. The film sees Kate Cooper (Daisy Edgar-Jones) return to storm chasing after a tragic event from her days as a meteorology student, looking to track a tornado...

Is ‘Law & Order’ Planning Another Crossover With ‘Svu’?
Image
It might just be that time of year again. Another crossover featuring characters from Law and Order and its spin-off Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Images posted to social media featuring Juliana Aidén Martinez, who plays Detective Kate Silva, hanging around the set of the flagship Law and Order, seem to imply that a crossover is incoming. Fans have also seemingly found more confirmation with set pictures circulating on social media, such as X (formerly Twitter) of Mariska Hargitay and Maura Tierney on set together. This would not be the first time this season characters have crossed over, with Hargitay's Captain Olivia Benson guest-starring in the Season 24 episode "The Perfect Man" and Tony Goldwyn's Da Nicholas Baxter in the Svu Season 26 episode "Calculated."...

‘Law & Order’: Laila Robins Guest Stars in Luigi Mangione-Inspired Episode — Watch Promo (Video)
Image
Laila Robins is adding another character to her Law & Order franchise count. As star Tony Goldwyn shared with TV Insider, she’ll be appearing in an upcoming episode. We have confirmed that is the March 20 episode, titled “Folk Hero.” In that episode, when a murder suspect becomes an underground hero, Brady (Maura Tierney) seeks help from a former colleague to track down a culprit who seems to be in multiple locations. Baxter (Goldwyn), Price (Hugh Dancy), and Maroun (Odelya Halevi) disagree on the best way forward when public interest heightens. As the promo, which you can watch above, shows, it’s very much a story ripped from the headlines. Robins will play defense attorney Megan Stratton, who throws Price and Maroun off balance with an unusual defense. This will be the fifth character that she ...
