Slated to arrive in theaters in December 2026, all four members of Marvel’s first family are expected to join an already enormous Avengers: Doomsday cast that also includes several original X-Men.
Despite the events of this year’s Fantastic Four: The First Steps taking place within an alternate reality to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s sacred timeline, the post-credit scene for Thunderbolts* had already teased the team’s arrival within the Earth-616 timeline.

Everyone knows the story of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's lifelong friendship; how they broke into Hollywood together by writing and starring in "Good Will Hunting," winning an Oscar and establishing themselves as two of the most significant forces in the industry for decades to come. That's the short version, anyway. The slightly longer version begins with the boys growing up together in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where they lived just two blocks apart and attended the same school. After high school, Damon enrolled in Harvard, where he wrote the beginnings of "Good Will Hunting" before dropping out and traveling to live with his buddy, Affleck, out in Los Angeles.
During that pre-"Good Will Hunting" period, both actors found work in multiple projects, with Damon appearing in a forgotten 1994 Western that marked Tommy Lee Jones' directorial debut and Affleck landing a role in the Danielle Steel TV movie adaptation, "Daddy.

There was a period when Jeremy Renner was on a winning streak. After landing a role in Kathryn Bigelow's award-winning war drama, "The Hurt Locker," he was appearing everywhere. Besides following it up with an impressive performance in the Ben Affleck-directed heist movie, "The Town," he then started switching between spy stories and superhero outings in three of the biggest franchises at that time.
After joining the Imf alongside Tom Cruise in "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" and drawing back his bow with Earth's Mightiest Heroes in "The Avengers," Renner dared to try and pick up the slack left by Matt Damon's amnesiac assassin, Jason Bourne, in the spin-off espionage thriller "The Bourne Legacy." While it received a lukewarm reception at the time and a so-so success at the box office, it feels that, even riding off of the "The Avengers," Renner's run in the Bourne-verse stands...

Pedro Pascal is in talks to lead Tony Gilroy’s next feature, Behemoth!, a Searchlight Pictures drama centered on a cellist, according to IndieWire. The project marks Gilroy’s return to directing features for the first time since 2012’s The Bourne Legacy, following his recent run overseeing Andor. Talks are not finalized, but multiple trade reports say the deal is trending positively.
Searchlight has boarded to finance and produce, with filming expected to begin this fall in Los Angeles. Gilroy is producing alongside longtime collaborator Sanne Wohlenberg, and Andor cinematographer Damián García is attached, continuing the creative partnership from the series. Oscar Isaac had previously been lined up to star but exited because of scheduling conflicts.
While plot specifics remain under wraps, Gilroy has described the film as a story “about movie music” that follows a prodigy-turned-studio musician and unfolds partly in flashback. He has also indicated the production aims...

While Pedro Pascal has been appearing in almost every other project in recent years, the one role that he still holds close to his heart is from Game of Thrones. Despite being a part of the MCU, the Star Wars universe, Gladiator 2, and several other iconic films, playing the role of Oberyn Martell seemed to have the biggest impact on the actor. In fact, the actor named it as his most meaningful role during an interview with Vanity Fair.
Pascal did not have much experience when he was hired for the series. This is quite surprising since Got was at the top of its fame during his casting. Considering this, he confessed that he will forever be appreciative to the creators of the series for taking a gamble with him. While this remains true, the significance of his experience on the series did not end after he was cast,...

The plot remains still under wraps but the feature is believed to be centered on a cellist. Oscar Isaac was originally attached in the lead role, which Pascal is now eyeing. The actor, who can currently be seen in “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” and A24’s “Eddington,” is in talks to join “Andor” creator Tony Gilroy’s “Behemoth!” for Searchlight Pictures, TheWrap has learned. Previously, Oscar Isaac had been earmarked for the role, but recently dropped out due to scheduling conflicts.

Thunderbolts* is now available on Digital and Blu-ray, but for those of you holding out for its Disney+ debut, we may finally have a positive update.
According to a commercial that's been airing in Greece, the movie will arrive on the streamer starting Wednesday, August 27. That's 117 days after the movie's theatrical debut, and a longer wait than Captain America: Brave New World (103 days), Deadpool & Wolverine (110 days), and The Marvels (92 days).
Thunderbolts*—a.k.a. *The New Avengers—struggled at the box office, earning only $382 million at the worldwide box office, even after overwhelmingly positive reviews.
"Thunderbolts* redefines superhero storytelling to deliver a moving and powerful story that does for the 'Multiverse Saga' what The Avengers did for the 'Infinity Saga' in 2012," we said in our review. "These heroes have earned their place on a Wheaties box."

If you open up a dictionary and turn to the page containing the word 'ubiquitous', then rumour has it you'll actually just find a picture of Pedro Pascal smiling back at you. By anyone's standards, the Chilean-American actor has had quite the 2025, impressing on screens both big and small with star turns in The Last Of Us Season 2, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Materialists, and — imminently — Ari Aster's Eddington. And, according to Deadline, Pascal has no plan to pump the brakes anytime soon, as the in-demand actor is now in talks to lead Tony Gilroy's next movie, Behemoth!
With Tony Gilroy having enjoyed his own pretty remarkable year thanks to the release of his critically acclaimed — and several-time 2025 Emmy Awards nominated — Andor Season 2, all eyes have been on the veteran filmmaker's next move. And while precious little is known about the secretive plot of Gilroy's Searchlight Pictures bound Behemoth!

A report now claims that MCU star Pedro Pascal is in talks to replace Oscar Isaac in writer Tony Gilroy‘s upcoming iconic movie Behemoth!. After the movie was picked up by Searchlight Pictures, Deadline has confirmed that Pascal is being heavily considered for the lead role in the upcoming movie.
While the deal hasn’t been confirmed, sources say that Pedro Pascal is interested in doing the movie, and things just might be headed in the right direction.
However, this might just mean that Pascal will replace the Moon Knight star Oscar Isaac in the lead role since the actor was previously attached to the project.

Andor is the Star Wars project I jumped to defend as soon as it premiered on Disney+. This was during the early days of season 1, when most fans didn't see the show's appeal and found Cassian Andor boring, as well as the show's slow pace a drag.
I had a reason to defend Andor; I loved Cassian since Rogue One, and I was a huge fan of Diego Luna's portrayal of the character. Another reason was my undying love for Jyn Erso, a character who always seemed like a mirror to Cassian Andor. I had mistakenly hoped that the series would eventually bring up Jyn Erso's name, or allow Felicity Jones to play the character one last time. I was wrong, but that's not why I'm upset.
I'm glad Andor was a success, but it's hard to ignore the rise in fan backlash towards everything about Rogue One, especially...

According to his interview with Forbes, Adriano Goldman, cinematographer for the upcoming HBO Harry Potter reboot, announced that he’s bringing big changes to the show (reported via Collider). One of the biggest updates is that the TV series will look a lot brighter and more colorful than the Og movies.
Adriano Goldman noted spending 18 weeks in pre-production with the creative team, designing a vibrant visual style that brings out the whimsical charm of the Wizarding World. Unlike the films, which became darker and duller over time, this version aims to capture the color and warmth of J.K. Rowling’s books.
This is the part I consider most rewarding. Collaborating from the origin of the project… this joint elaboration of visual content allows a broader collaboration between talented professionals from various areas.
I have a special relationship with color. This series needs to be more vibrant from the global point of view of the image…...

Ben Stiller is in awe of how fast “The Bear” is shot. The “Severance” director and executive producer pointed to how “The Bear” has churned out four seasons across three years; “Severance” meanwhile took that same amount of time to make just a second season. Production on “Severance” Season 2 began way back in 2022, the same year that “The Bear” debuted.
Stiller cited how he would prefer to work as “The Bear” co-showrunner Christopher Storer does, or at least with the same speed. “Chris Storer will shoot an episode in an hour and a half or something on ‘The Bear.’ I’m like, ‘Goddamn, why can’t I do that?'” Stiller told Vanity Fair.
As for the years between Seasons 1 and 2, Stiller added, “On a certain level, it’s just the affirmation of when you follow your instinct — knowing that you have to make sure something feels right, and that...

More than 2,300 members of the Writers Guild of America have signed an open letter decrying recent actions taken by President Trump and his administration that they say represent “an unprecedented, authoritarian assault.”
The WGA East and WGA West union members signing the letter include Spike Lee, Adam McKay, Ilana Glazer, Mike Schur, Liz Merriwether and Tony Gilroy.
The letter cites Trump’s “baseless lawsuits” against news organizations that have “published stories he does not like and leveraged them into payoffs”; for example, it points to Paramount Global’s agreement last month to pay Trump $16 million to settle “a meritless lawsuit” against CBS over a “60 Minutes” interview with Kamala Harris that Trump alleged was deceptively edited. In addition, the letter notes, Trump has “retaliated against publications reporting factually on the White House and threatened broadcasters’ licenses,” and has regularly called for the cancelation of news and entertainment TV shows that criticize him.

The 16-year hiatus between Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) and Episode I - Phantom Menace (1999)—and again after Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005) until Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015))—became known to fans as the Dark Times. Back when Hollywood was trying to tap into the Chinese theatrical market (before Covid-19 and the Trump tariffs changed everything), the results were ... well, about as inelegant as you'd imagine. Sometimes, to be fair, studios did find organic ways of pandering to the Middle Kingdom, like when "The Meg" included several lead Chinese characters (making the titular shark's third-act attack on Sanya Bay feel a tad less random). Meanwhile, on the opposing end of the spectrum, there's "Iron Man 3," which featured a cameo by seasoned Chinese actor Wang Xueqi for no apparent reason ... unless you happened to be watching the extended Chinese cut of the film.

George R.R. Martin has weighed in on the current state of televised science fiction — and he’s got some favorites. The Game of Thrones author used a recent entry on his Not a Blog to sing the praises of multiple shows, but singled out one Emmy-nominated series in particular as the gold standard for sci-fi done right: Andor.
“There’s been some great Sf on television as well,” Martin wrote. “The Murderbot stories are always a lot of fun, and the TV show did them justice. I look forward to another series.” But it’s Andor, Martin said, that stands head and shoulders above the rest.
“Andor was this year’s highlight, though. Far and away the best of the Star Wars spinoffs. Looked gorgeous, Diego Luna was first rate, and there was a realism and tension to the story that was sadly lacking in most of the other spinoffs.

While Andor is officially ending with Season 2, fans have long wondered if there was ever a chance for more. In a recent interview, series creator and showrunner Tony Gilroy addressed whether a third season was ever on the table. The prequel series, which explores Cassian Andor's journey leading up to Rogue One, took a dramatic turn in how it told its story during Season 2, jumping one year every three episodes.
While Andor was originally envisioned as a sprawling five-season epic, Gilroy has made it clear that a third season was never truly in the cards. During a recent appearance on The Rogue Ones podcast, Gilroy broke down the creative and logistical reasons why the Star Wars series ultimately streamlined its story into just two tightly constructed seasons.

HBO Max‘s film library is filled with worthwhile, great psychological thrillers. From well-known, iconic classics to underseen, forgotten films, the streamer has movies you either may not have ever heard of before or ones you have been meaning to check out for years. Case in point: Its psychological thriller collection includes the most underrated film that “Andor” creator Tony Gilroy has ever made, as well as one of the most beloved and oft-quoted movies of the 1990s.
Here are the best psychological thrillers you can stream on HBO Max in July.
“Duplicity” (Universal Pictures) “Duplicity” (2009)
“Duplicity,” writer-director Tony Gilroy‘s underrated follow-up to his acclaimed “Michael Clayton,” is an unlikely blend of paranoid corporate politics and romance. It follows two paid corporate spies (Julia Roberts and Clive Owen) whose attraction to each other complicates their respective assignments and compels them to concoct a daring scheme designed to trick their bosses.

Dan Gilroy, brother of Disney+'s Andor creator and executive producer Tony Gilroy, wrote several episodes of the series. He was responsible for one of the show's most impactful sets of episodes, centering around the Ghorman Massacre. The story arc closed out with Bix Caleen, leaving her love, Cassian Andor, for the benefit of the Rebel Alliance. Gilroy shed light on Bix's true motivations for her departure, a reason that was more important than her being pregnant with Cassian's child.
In Andor Season 2, Episode 9, Cassian wakes up with Bix nowhere to be found. He spies a datapad on the kitchen table and plays its message, left by Bix while Cassian was asleep. As Dan Gilroy explained to The Playlist Podcast, the fact that Bix was pregnant didn't factor into her decision to walk away from Cassian, calling it "secondary" to her actual goal:
"I never saw the pregnancy as the prime motive.

Andor designer Michael Wilkinson confirmed an unhidden Man of Steel influence on the Star Wars series on Disney+. The prequel series explored compelling and emotionally gripping stories leading up to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, raising the stakes as the Rebellion risks everything to fight the Empire. A huge part of the storytelling puzzle boiled down to the characters' various costumes made by Academy Award-nominated designer Michael Wilkinson.
Wilkinson (via Star Wars) ensured that the costumes in Andor looked the way they did "for a reason," pointing out that "it had to really resonate and be authentic to the characters where they were at in the story." Achieving that goal is not easy, considering that Andor exists in an already established world filled with various heroes and villains in the galaxy. Still, Andor creator Tony Gilroy embraced the show's "canon challenges," noting that the goal of...

In 2023, Andor's first season received eight Emmy nominations, including one for Outstanding Drama Series. Despite the Disney+ original series being recognized in many categories—such as writing, directing, cinematography, music, and many others—it didn't walk away with any wins. While even getting nominated at the Emmys is cause for celebration, zero wins was surely a disappointing result after such a well-received show.
In case you've been out of the loop for a while, Andor stars Diego Luna as Cassian Andor. The show takes place in the events leading up to 2016's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which itself occurs immediately before the events of 1977's A New Hope. I know, it's confusing if you're new around here, but that's Star Wars.

Every year, the Emmys reveal which shows, actors and producers are up for awards, and each year, there are always some worthy candidates who get left behind. This year, there's a lot of stink about Diego Luna not getting a nod in the Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series category for his performance as the title character in Star Wars: Andor, definitely one of the most arresting dramas of 2025. Genevieve O’Reilly, who played Mon Mothma, also didn't get a nod.
“These aren’t great moment-to-moment [performances],” showrunner Tony Gilroy told Deadline about his overlooked actors. “These are epic, long-term character studies that they’ve done over 24 episodes. I think the ultimate victory is that these performances will be celebrated and discussed for years to come. I feel confident about that.”

Exclusive: Diego Luna is set to star in the indie thriller Eleven Days opposite Taylor Kitsch from Concussion director Peter Landesman.
The film is set in the sweltering heat of a Texas summer in 1974, when ruthless prisoner Federico Carrasco (Luna) plays a deadly game against Jim Estelle (Kitsch), head of the Texas Department of Corrections, after taking over Huntsville Penitentiary and holding dozens hostage when his pre-planned escape goes awry. Lines between captor and captive, and justice and survival, begin to blur as the siege spirals for 11 endless, terrifying days.
The screenplay is written by Kevin Sheridan with revisions by Landesman, based on the book Eleven Days In Hell: The 1974 Carrasco Prison Siege at Huntsville, Texas by William T. Harper. The film, which will shoot in Texas in September, is produced by Vincent Newman and Vance Howard.
Luna has already him self quite a year following the second season of the Disney+ series Andor.

Andor's showrunner, Tony Gilroy, has commented on the show's many Emmy snubs, claiming an ultimate victory in light of this. Andor season 2's ending was a monumental moment in the Star Wars franchise. Not only did it end a stellar season of TV, but it culminated the best Star Wars TV show ever made.
Despite how revered the show is, though, some disappointing news about the central performances from Andor season 2's cast has been brought to light recently.
In an interview with Deadline, Gilroy was asked for his thoughts on Andor cast members like Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Elizabeth Dulau, Genevieve O'Reilly, and Adria Arjona being snubbed at this year's Emmys. Gilroy stated, “There are a lot of performances that I wish were recognized," before going on to claim the ultimate victory for the show:

“I’m trying to come up with a new word word for excited,” “Andor” creator Tony Gilroy said just a few hours after his show, set in the “Star Wars” universe, racked up 14 Emmy nominations. “I know that’s my job, but I’m having trouble coming up with something really, truly original to say.”
“Andor’s” second season, which takes place in the five years that lead up to 2016’s “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” which itself is set directly before the events of 1977’s “Star Wars,” had more nominations than Emmy powerhouses like “The Bear” (also part of the far-reaching Disney galactic republic). This is the final season of “Andor,” and it is very clearly going out on top.

With 14 Emmy nominations Tuesday or the second season of Disney+/Lucasfilm’s Andor — the third most ever for a Star Wars show after the second and first seasons of The Mandalorian — you’d think there be some cause to celebrate.
“There are a lot of performances that I wish were recognized,” Andor creator Tony Gilroy told Deadline today before specifying “Diego Luna and Genevieve O’Reilly. There are a dozen performances.”
The series, which takes place in the events before the 2016 movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, a prequel itself to 1977’s original Star Wars: Episode IV, only scored one acting nom today: that being for Forest Whitaker in Guest Actor Drama for his portrayal of rebel renegade Saw Gerrera (two noms if you count the character voice-over performance for Alan Tudyk’s K-2So). It's about that time again, people. The Oscars are over, the BAFTAs are behind us, and the Golden Globes were certainly a thing that happened, so all eyes are now firmly locked on the 2025 Emmy Awards. And this afternoon, Harvey Guillén and Brenda Song took to the stage of the Wolf Theatre in the Saban Media Centre to unveil the nominees for this year's upcoming 77th Emmys. And after what has been a pretty exceptional past twelve months in the world of television, Apple TV+'s Severance finds itself in(nie) pole position. Dan Erickson's water cooler dominating sci-fi series leads the pack so far with a staggering 27 nominations, while HBO's The Penguin and Apple's own The Studio are nipping at its heels with a heady 24 and 23 nods of their own respectively.
Severance heads up a sure-to-be hotly contested Outstanding Drama Series field, where it'll face off against Andor,...

A father-daughter composing team was nominated, Hans Zimmer could win his first Emmy, and a music supervisor was nominated for three different shows — just some of the surprises among nominations for the 2024-2025 Emmys unveiled Tuesday morning by the Television Academy.
Thomas Newman and his daughter Julia Newman were nominated for their music for Netflix’s miniseries “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” a first in Emmy history for a two-generation, same-family collaboration on a single television score. And in another musical-family story, Oscar and Emmy winner Michael Giacchino’s son Mick Giacchino was nominated for his original music for HBO’s “The Penguin.”
Zimmer, who has two Oscars and four Grammys, has never won an Emmy but could this year with his nomination in the documentary music category for NBC’s “The Americas” (shared with fellow composers Anze Rozman and Kara Talve).

'Tis the day of the Emmys and all through the house, surprises are stirring and snubs are inspiring grouse. While fans of Hacks, Severance, and The White Lotus had plenty to cheer about, Squid Game, The Handmaid's Tale and The Voice are among the high-profile shows that went overlooked by voters. On the other hand, Uzo Aduba and Colman Domingo pulled off surprise victories that the odds didn't see coming.

Star Wars' best TV show, Andor, has officially received fourteen nominations at this year's Emmy Awards for season 2, but this victory doesn't come without a price. Acting as an origin story of the Rebel Alliance itself, Andor's grounded approach has helped it to become the Star Wars franchise's most victorious and revered work.
Andor season 2 took things to the next level, and the Emmy Awards have noticed. As confirmed by Star Wars, the TV show has officially earned fourteen nominations at this year's ceremony, including a chance at taking home the award for Outstanding Drama Series. Andor faced some tough competition, and it didn't manage to beat all its competitors.

The Emmys are beloved among top-tier award shows for announcing their nominations at a reasonable hour, for the most part. Now that all of the nominations are out, this morning there are some initially eupeptic and caffeinated would-be contenders who just didn’t get any love from voters at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

If there’s one thing Andor does better than any other Star Wars show, it’s world-building. Nowhere is that more obvious than in Luthen Rael’s gallery, the Coruscant antique shop that’s a front for the rebels, and also serves as one of the most lore-packed locations in the franchise. The Rebellion might be brewing behind the scenes, but up front it’s pure fan service. There are relics and references that span the entire Star Wars timeline, from the Old Republic to the Clone Wars to Jedi: Fallen Order.
Showrunner Tony Gilroy has openly admitted that these details aren’t always in the script. It's the crew, especially the art team, who slyly smuggle them in. He told GamesRadar, “They sneak that s*** in,” and it’s fantastic that they do. Because in Andor, even the background tells a story.

Tony Gilroy is not your typical Lucasfilm showrunner. While others wax nostalgic or dance around fan expectations, Gilroy almost speaks with candor and just enough edge to make headlines. In a new interview with Empire (via Jedi News), Gilroy steps beyond Andor to weigh in on Star Wars projects both theatrical and serialized.
His candid takes offer insight into the current and future state of the galaxy’s storytelling.
When The Mandalorian debuted with the Disney+ platform on November 12, 2019, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, via Din Djarin and Grogu, changed everything we knew about the galaxy far, far away. After what Director Rhys Thomas said about Hawkeye Season 2, it’s safe to say that I miss Season 2 even more now. That’s right, in an interview via Variety, Thomas spoke about how special it was to work with Marvel and tell the story of Clint Barton, a hero without powers, just a man trying to do his best. That’s what made the show stand out from the rest, as it was grounded and honest.
But the best part was hearing what Thomas said about Jeremy Renner’s performance. He shared how the actor didn’t need big lines or dramatic scenes to make an impact. He added:
Jeremy frequently didn’t want say much, you know. His character in the script had all this exposition. We had him saying a lot. He was genius [in] that kind of knowing, ‘I can, I can say that entire paragraph just like this [grunts].’ And he could.

Tony Gilroy revealed that he wishes he could retcon one Star Wars character into Rogue One after the end of Andor Season 2. Over the last decade-and-change, Gilroy has become one of the most celebrated figures in modern Star Wars. He first won fans of the long-running sci-fi franchise over with his work on the acclaimed Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, telling the tale of the ill-fated Rebel team who stole the Death Star plans leading into Star Wars: A New Hope.
He then continued his Star Wars hot streak, diving back into the world of Rogue One with two seasons of the Diego Luna-led Disney+ series Andor, following Luna's Rogue One Rebel spy before he appeared in the 2016 film. Tony Gilroy has opinions about Rogue One's Jyn Erso, and according to his latest one, Andor's Vel Sartha would've disliked her.
Via ComicBook, in an interview with Empire Magazine, Gilroy was asked what Andor character he wished had been in Rogue One and he had a bold take about how Vel would view Jyn.
"I’d want Faye Marsay’s Vel there for sure. My God, think of Vel’s take on Jyn Erso! I’m sure she’d have some very choice things to say about her. Jyn would light up all of Vel’s irritation.”
Like most of Gilroy's takes on Rogue One, I disagree with his opinion that Vel, or anyone, would find Jyn Erso irritating. Gilroy didn't explain why he thinks Vel would've been irritated by Jyn. My question would be, when would Vel have found the time to be irritated? Jyn's time with the Rebel Alliance was brief,...

A new Star Wars movie is in the works, and it’s going way back in time, much farther than any film before. Director James Mangold is working on a project reportedly called Jedi Prime, which will explore the very origins of the Jedi Order and the Force itself. The story is set about 25,000 years before the original Star Wars saga, so fans won’t see any familiar characters from previous movies.
Lucasfilm first revealed this film at Star Wars Celebration Europe in April 2023. They said it will kick off a new era in the Star Wars timeline called Dawn of the Jedi. Mangold mentioned that his inspiration for the movie comes from classic biblical epics. He even compared it to The Ten Commandments, calling the film a “Cecil B. DeMille-style biblical epic.”

Andor was special because it was very boots-on-the-ground and focused on the everyday people of the Rebel Alliance, not the Jedi.
In fact, Andor became the first and only Star Wars show not to feature a lightsaber. This focus on the “little” guy helped ground the show and made it feel more relatable. While everyone dreamed of growing up to be Luke Skywalker, Andor reminded us that regular people can be just as important to a cause, like fighting the Empire.
Though Andor connected well to other Star Wars titles, it wasn’t overly concerned with the “lore” of the greater Star Wars galaxy. It fit in where it needed to, but there was no need to...

Cassian Andor’s story isn’t gone for good, but if you were watching Andor on Hulu, you'll need to head over to Disney+ to finish your rewatch.
Fans noticed earlier this month that the critically acclaimed Star Wars series was set to leave Hulu, with a quiet “Expires Thursday” label appearing beneath the thumbnail. Sure enough, on Thursday, July 3, Andor vanished from Hulu's catalog, meaning the show is exclusively available to stream on Disney+.
The move shouldn’t come as a surprise. Though both services are owned by Disney and often share content, Disney has been steadily centralizing its biggest properties on its flagship streamer, and Star Wars is no exception.
Andor was never a Hulu original series, of course. The show debuted in 2022 on Disney+ as one of the boldest and most narratively rich Star Wars series to date, offering an inside look at the Rebellion in the early days of the Empire.

Andor star Alan Tudyk has just dropped a bomb on a major plot point that was left out of the show during Season 2. Although absent from Season 1, Andor Season 2 introduced Rogue One favorite K-2So, and even brought back star voice actor Alan Tudyk to voice the character. Collider’s Maggie Lovitt recently moderated a panel for Tudyk at FanExpo Denver, and she asked if K-2So is more loyal to Cassian or the Rebellion:
"I think K-2 has always been committed to Cass. That was my connection with the character from the very beginning... He cares what Cassian says. If he says, 'You have to stay behind' or 'You have to grab the back' it's like, 'Now I actually have to do it.' And he's going to."
He also admitted that because the team had to “cram everything into the second season, you missed a big chunk of...

It’s been nearly a decade since Rogue One reshaped the Star Wars story with a sharp departure from the Skywalkers and Tatooine. Now its director, Gareth Edwards, is officially moving on.
In a new interview with Business Insider, Edwards, who recently directed Jurassic World: Rebirth, which hit theatres over the Fourth of July weekend, made it crystal clear that he’s done directing Star Wars movies
“I’m very happy to move on and do my thing,” he said when asked about returning. “It’s the thing that was in my life before I knew what a film was.”
Edwards is, however, grateful for the ongoing love Rogue One receives, especially thanks to shows like Andor.
“It’s like your mom; it’s like something that's a part of you,” he reflected.
When Rogue One debuted in 2016 following Disney’s 2012 acquisition of Lucasfilm, it was a gritty departure from the Jedi-centered Skywalker saga.

Over the course of three movies, Matt Damon brought Jason Bourne — a character first crafted by author Robert Ludlum — to life in a series of films that some know as The Bourne Trilogy. After unfurling the character’s mysterious spy background and sending him on numerous missions, the time eventually came to pass the baton, with Jeremy Renner picking up the torch and continuing the high-octane franchise in 2012’s The Bourne Legacy. Now, more than a full decade since the divisive film first crashed into cinemas, it’s receiving a boost of new life thanks to its streaming arrival on Paramount+. According to FlixPatrol, the Tony Gilroy-directed and co-penned production is clocking in on the Top 10 chart in numerous countries, including Bolivia, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela, alongside other popular titles such as Gladiator II and Top Gun: Maverick.

Matt Damon is currently in the middle of filming The Odyssey, the next film from acclaimed director Christopher Nolan, but arguably the most controversial project of the star’s career has stumbled into streaming success almost 10 years later. Damon stars alongside Pedro Pascal in The Great Wall, the 2016 historical action epic following a group of European mercenaries who encounter a secret army that defends the Great Wall of China against deadly creatures. The Great Wall began streaming on HBO Max at the start of July, and it’s become one of the most popular movies in America, sitting at #5 at the time of writing. The film earned abysmal scores of 35% from critics and 42% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, and it even turned a profit off its $150 million budget by grossing $334 million globally.
The Great Wall was plagued with controversy even before its release, but once the film hit theaters, things didn’t get any easier.
