The Real Ghostbusters Figures from Mondo

Mondo has launched a line of “The Real Ghostbusters” 1:12 scale action figures with Peter Venkman, Samhain, and Slimer.

Venkman stands 6.5″ and comes with two heads (neutral and serious), two pairs of hands (gloved and ungloved), proton pack with particle thrower wand, attachable particle stream, ghost trap, and swappable trap cartridge with mini Samhain.

Samhain stands 8.5″ and comes with three heads and four hands. Slimer stands 3.5″.

Priced at $202, the exclusive, timed edition set is available until November 26 and is expected to ship in May 2025.

The folk-pop duo Better Oblivion Community Center, helmed by Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst, made a surprise reunion on Thursday night at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles. The venue has been hosting weekly shows as part of the Conor Oberst and Friends residency since early March. Bridgers’ special appearance at this week’s concert marked their first performance together since 2019.

Jon Hamm has a new role: He plays an emotionally unavailable boyfriend in singer Leslie Stevens’ new music video for “Blue Roses.”

The clip, released Friday, features Hamm in a cowboy hat and denim shirt, as he hands Stevens blue roses and she sings the lyrics, “Go ahead and take another little piece of my heart/I’ll give it to you as a fall apart.” The bluesy rock-pop track features the hook, “All I get from you are blue roses.”

The Emmy-winning actor even hijacks Stevens’ microphone during her live performance and replaces it with blue roses in the video, directed by Paige Stark of the rock band Tashaki Miyaki.

Ving Rhames has joined the cast of the beat-the-clock indie Operator, directed by sibling duo Obin and Amariah Olson (Unknown Caller). Mischa Barton, Michael Pare, and Luke Goss also star in the action-thriller about a 911 operator and her estranged cop husband whose daughter is abducted, forcing them to dispatch the city’s police and fire units to remote locations at the kidnappers’ bidding. Timothy Woodward Jr. and Larry Olson are producers. Story is by the Brothers Olson, Dwain Worrell, and Anthony Feole, while script is credited to Feole, Worrell, and Amariah Olson.
