Now if you are a Supernatural fan, the title must have sounded hilarious but if you are not a Supernatural fan it must have been hella confusing. Well, rest assured no Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins are not really dating but only good friends after having met each other on the sets of the long-running horror-drama television show.

Their ‘love story’ originates from the ‘ship’ of their respective on-screen characters, Dean Winchester and the angle Castiel (or as we call it Destiel), and their adorable bromance behind the screen. One thing that fans love the best about the CW show is that the actors and crew have been more like a family than co-workers, which makes their friendship even more swoon-worthy.

Attention, Spn Family. You’re invited to a Supernatural reunion, though it takes an alternate form from what you’d assume. Word has come down the wire that Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins are officially joining Jensen Ackles for the fifth and final season of The Boys as guest stars.
Eric Kripke, who created The Boys for television, also created Sam Winchester and Castiel, Padalecki and Collins’ respective Supernatural characters. Supernatural fans have waited years for these three to reunite, and it’s only natural for them to cross paths on The Boys before the show goes the way of the dodo.
The trio announced they’re getting the band back together via an Instagram video, proclaiming they’ve “got work to do” for The Boys Season 5. Padalecki and Collins’s roles are being kept under wraps, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start celebrating what is sure to be a momentous occasion.

There is no doubt among Supernatural fans that Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s John Winchester wasn’t an ideal father to the show’s protagonists Sam and Dean Winchester. Although John made several missteps in his upbringing of his sons after his wife’s passing, the nature of his abuse toward his sons was never made explicit.

On social media, one Supernatural fan raised the question of just how grave John’s abusive behavior was. The user asked whether John’s abusive nature meant that he physically assaulted Sam and Dean during their childhood. However, most other fans refused to believe the dark theory despite the concerning nature of his parenting style.

With The Boys season 5 being the last, there are naturally a few fan wishes. One of the things we wanted to see was a certain Supernatural reunion.
That wish is coming true! There’s the Supernatural team-up that is sure to bring new fans to the series and an interest in a Supernatural reboot or revival once more.
The Boys is no stranger to Supernatural reunions. There have also been a few Timeless reunions. That’s what you get when Eric Kripke created all three shows, and he loves working with actors he likes from other productions. It just took time to make schedules work for this particular reunion. He did say that a certain actor coming into the show was "the Pokémon I haven’t collected yet."

It doesn’t sound like we’re getting a Supernatural revival any time soon, but we’re getting the next best thing:
A Supernatural reunion on The Boys.
News broke on The Boys’ social media channels Wednesday afternoon that Misha Collins and Jared Padalecki had landed guest starring roles on the Prime Video hit’s fifth and final season.
(Colin Bentley/The CW)
They join Jensen Ackles, who has been a prominent character over the last few seasons as Soldier Boy.
The character’s popularity has opened the door for Jensen to co-lead an upcoming spinoff with Aya Cash.
(Bettina Strauss/The CW)
But we’re sure viewers will be most excited about seeing Jensen, Misha, and Jared together on-screen again because they were a formidable trio on the former CW drama Supernatural.
Despite ending after 15 seasons in 2020, the series remains talked about thanks to its passionate fanbase, who have...

After an underwhelming finale, which was followed by a mixed sequel and a disappointing prequel, the Dexter IP is now set to return with a follow-up to New Blood, marking the return of Michael C. Jensen Ackles is best known for playing the role of Dean Winchester in Supernatural. Throughout fifteen seasons, Ackles is featured in a lot of whacky moments in the series. However, one season 15 episode remains his funkiest appearance. As a result, fans are recalling the episode for Ackles acing the curveball thrown at him.

In season 15 episode 10, Ackles performed a tap dancing scene as a part of a dream sequence. Given the episode’s already hilarious premise, Ackles’ tap dancing came as the cherry on the top and fans are still not over the scene. Here is what Supernatural fans had to say about Ackles’ dancing skills in one of the show’s most underrated moments.

If you’re a fan of Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw and Tracker, you will be ecstatic. CBS revealed some early renewals for just a small handful of its primetime programming and Tracker was among those that was met with a season 3 renewal.
Tracker follows Colter Shaw, a survivalist who works on his own to aid in various criminal cases. The show also delves into his mysterious background about his family, including his dad who died under mysterious circumstances after leaving their home in the woods.
The renewal news comes after the show returned from its winter midseason hiatus. In the episode “The Disciple,” a long-time case that Shaw had been trying to solve finally reached its conclusion.

Now that Colter (Justin Hartley) has solved his white whale of a case — the disappearance of Gina Picket a decade ago —there’s still another ongoing mystery for him to tackle in Tracker Season 2: that of his family. The series began with Colter thinking that his brother Russell (Jensen Ackles) may have had something to do with their father’s death. But, as Colter instead learned from Russell, someone else was there that night in the woods. In fact, their mother had secrets, too, because he’d seen the same man who was there that night talking to her before. Their mother then told Russell it would be best if he left and kept quiet about what happened after their father’s death. Their sister, Dory (Melissa Roxburgh), has secrets, too, such as the box of their father’s stuff she hadn’t told either of them about. In Ackles’ Season 2 return,...

Jensen Ackles is a fan-favorite actor in Hollywood. However, even the most popular stars audition for projects that they do not book.
The 46-year-old star is best known for his portrayal of Dean Winchester on Supernatural, a hit series that kept him on TV screens for 15 years. Fans will also recognize him as Soldier Boy from The Boys and Russell Shaw on Tracker.
However, Jensen has been in the running for some other projects that got away. He’s spoken about three of them over the years. Interestingly, the majority of them were to play iconic superheroes.
The actor denied the rumor that he was in the running to play a beloved character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There are two other MCU roles that he’s been linked to, though!

Supernatural is arguably one of the most mythology-heavy shows of the 21st century having lasted fifteen seasons and spawned a multi-media franchise. Over the years, fans have fallen in love with the monster-hunting adventures of the Winchester brothers with books, spin-offs, and even an anime to keep them entertained.

Despite the original series completing twenty years, there hasn’t been a video game based on the adventures of the Winchesters. As a result, it is high time dedicated fans get a chance to immerse themselves in the world of Supernatural by creating their avatars and engaging in monster-hunting activities supported by the show’s core cast.

Mortal Kombat is one of the most successful action media franchises of all time, but it has pretty much the same story as every other video game that got adapted into a live-action project: A disappointing series of events. That said, it’s quite surprising that someone as famous and riding hot on the success of The Boys as Karl Urban would want to join the franchise.

While there have been fans who found the live-action film series bearable due to certain elements of it as well, the movies haven’t quite fared all that finely among critics, so Urban’s joining the second film in the reboot saga is a rather questionable choice. But what’s even more questionable is his casting as Johnny Cage, for which, fans have already given 3 other better candidates.

Jared Padalecki had one disgusting gum habit that left Jensen Ackles completely appalled. While the duo have immense respect for each other and are best friends, Padalecki’s gum etiquette was not something Ackles was ready to excuse.

Jared Padalecki has a very odd way of treating his chewing gum, which Jensen Ackles, and many others, would find absolutely disgusting. While there were always fresh sticks of gum available at the craft table, Padalecki, for some insane reason, would let his chewed gum breathe a little, before putting it back in his mouth.

Not everyone is a fan of football. While Super Bowl Lix is also about commercials and the Halftime Show, you may want something else to watch tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 9.
There are no new episodes of top broadcast shows tomorrow. That’s why we won’t have a “what’s on TV tonight” post. However, this is a good time to catch up on some shows and to see how others ended. We have five great broadcast shows to spend the night watching.
Watch the three-part One Chicago crossover event
There isn’t a lot of time to work through a new series. So, if you just want an event, then you’ll want to turn to the most recent One Chicago crossover event. The three episodes are more like a big movie, and you don’t need to know too much about the various characters to get into the storylines.

Supernatural fans became accustomed to the dynamic between the Winchester brothers, with Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki playing the roles for fifteen seasons. As a result, fans came to expect hilarious one-liners from Ackles’ Dean Winchester, making his level of sass and sarcasm practically unrivaled except for one recurring character that proved to be a match for him.

Prime Video's subversive superhero series The Boys is one of the best genre shows out there. The show takes everything you know about the superhero genre and flips it on its head. And it's pretty timely too, offering up a daring take on how modern politics may play out if those in charge had superpowers.
The main show will conclude with its fifth season, which is slated to premiere sometime in 2026. But fear not, series creator Eric Kripke is keen to expand its horizons through a number of spinoff projects. The Boys has already seen two spinoff shows, including the animated series Diabolical and Gen V, a live-action series set at a superhero collage. Gen V returns for its second season later this year. It’s safe to say that Fire Country gave viewers quite the buildup before the winter break. Now that I am all caught up, I can genuinely say that I love this series despite a handful of truly infuriating characters.
Is it me, or does every character’s motivation seem to change in every episode?
It’s so back-and-forth that it’s hard to remember where everyone stands on issues like fire safety protocol.
(Eric Milner/CBS)
Bode gets a bad rep for following his own rules on Fire Country, but so many other characters are guilty of the same thing. The only difference is that no one else is the “Hometown Hero.”
I have to give Fire Country Season 3 credit for introducing new and rational characters, even if they aren’t permanent fixtures on the show.

The CW's "Supernatural" ended after 15 record-breaking seasons, with the demon-hunting siblings Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) both ending up in Heaven after it was all said and done. Of course, it was only a matter of time until the network tried to capitalize on the success of the hit horror show, and the prequel series, "The Winchesters," was born -- only to be canceled after one season.
"The Winchesters" switches the action to the '70s and follows Mary Campbell (Meg Donnelly) and John Winchester (Drake Rodger) -- aka Sam and Dean's parents -- as they fight all manner of creatures and crush on each other. They are also joined by a Scooby Gang-esque group of monster hunters who help them out along the way, making for a fun, diverse, and action-packed viewing experience. Sadly, the gang's adventures weren't destined to last, no matter how much they enriched the "Supernatural" universe.

"The Boys" is a star-studded show; not only is it replete with surprise celebrity appearances from the likes of Tilda Swinton and Charlize Theron, but even stars like Jensen Ackles and Jeffrey Dean Morgan will stick around for major roles that span an entire season, sometimes more. As it turns out, though, there was another major, respected actor that could have followed in those celebrities' footsteps: Sterling K. Brown.
Brown, who's most famous for his role in the hit show "This is Us" as well as the Oscar-nominated film "American Fiction," revealed in a recent Variety interview that he could've been part of a crucial season-long arc on "The Boys," but he turned the opportunity down. Supernatural is one of the longest-running fantasy shows, lasting fifteen seasons before concluding in 2020. It stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as brothers Dean and Sam Winchester. Over its fifteen seasons, the monster-hunting duo faced several threats, including evil gods, angels, and demons, expanding on the show’s basic premise.

Supernatural is one of the few shows that maintained a strong relationship with its fans over fifteen seasons. The series starred Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki in the lead roles with several actors playing important supporting roles. However, some of the actors, including Mark Sheppard were done dirty by the writing, leading to abrupt exits from the hit series.

However, one actress who appeared across multiple seasons admitted that the writers were forced to write her character out of the show because of her persistent health issues. Actress Rachel Miner, who played Meg Masters in the series, revealed that her health issues proved difficult for the writers to work around, leading to her character being killed off. Supernatural was a dark fantasy series, that aired on The CW. Magic Systems is not really something that comes to mind when one talks about Supernatural or other urban fantasy shows like it that aired on TV in the mid-2000s. However, fans did think about how the magic works in the world of the Supernatural, coming up with some interesting tactics that would have made the work of the Winchester siblings much easier.

Dean and Sam had a slew of weapons that could put a lot of demons and monsters on the run, but Reddit seems to be convinced that there was a slew of ways in which Supernatural‘s magic system could have been leveraged in more interesting and nuanced ways.

Stop me if you've heard this one before, but the latest season of "The Boys" was a total bloodbath and left us on its darkest note yet. Viewers have come to expect the worst with Prime Video's superhero satire series, which always seems to take the path of most cynicism. In season 4, that meant the United States ushering in a puppet as a President to do the bidding of Homelander (Antony Starr) and enact martial law, all while our heroes were either scattered to the winds or captured. Oh, and if all that wasn't bad enough, a mid-credits scene even teased the return of everybody's favorite freak Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles).
Well, if you thought things couldn't possibly get any worse, you clearly haven't been paying enough attention. Season 5 has been confirmed to be the show's final season and is currently in the process of filming. Of course, since this...

Be they a comic book antihero, supernatural vigilante, troubled teen, or male ingenue in a daytime soap, nobody plays these characters quite like actor Jensen Ackles. The television star has enjoyed a career at the forefront of some of the most popular genre projects in TV history, thanks in large part to his hard-earned professional relationships with The CW and producer Eric Kripke.
Following 15 seasons of the fantasy adventure series "Supernatural" and a lauded season-long arc on the Amazon Prime Video comic book romp "The Boys," Ackles is on the precipice of yet another exciting chapter in his career. Before the upcoming releases of the fifth and final season of "The Boys," its highly-anticipated spin-off series, or the Derek Haas crime drama "Countdown," we're taking a look back at his most memorable films and television shows thus far -- ranking them by quality, impact on Ackles' career, and overall showcasing of his talent.
