We are done with the first half of Kuberaa and till now we are hooked onto a gripping and riveting first half which also has some emotionally high octane sequences. The movie revolves around the themes of poverty, misery, survival and greed. However, it is Dhanush’s performance which forms the main highlight of this one.
The plot revolves around a corrupted businessman, Neeraj Mitra (Jim Sarbh) who wishes to gain control of a trillion worth of oil reserves through black money. He recruits Deepak Tej (Nagarjuna Akkineni), a former honest Cbi officer, who was sentenced falsely to 10 years of imprisonment after conducting a raid in a minister’s home for this job. Tej who has now embraced the dark side because of the system being unfair to him suggests Neeraj of using 4 beggars to act as an intermediary to conduct the black money transactions.

Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni has issued an apology after he came across a video showing his fan being pushed away by a bodyguard at the airport in Mumbai. The video has gone viral, and fans have started criticising Nagarjuna and asking him why he did not react to what had happened.
In the video, we can see that one of the staff of a cafe in the airport first reaches out to Nagarjuna to ask him for a selfie. The bodyguard then pushes away the employee so that he tripped and almost fell. At the same time, we can see Nagarjuna walking away as if nothing has happened.
The paparazzi shared the video on social media, asking Nagarjuna, “Where has humanity gone?”

In June 2023, Aanand L. Rai and Dhanush announced their third collaboration, Tere Ishk Mein, following the success of Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re. However, nearly a year has passed since the announcement with little to no development on the project, sparking numerous rumors about its status. According to Peepingmoon, the film is still on but has faced production delays.
Sources indicate that Dhanush’s commitments to his Tamil films have caused the postponement of Tere Ishk Mein. “Dhanush has several prior commitments down south that he wants to complete before dedicating two months to Aanand L. Rai’s film. The director acknowledged his concern and has agreed to wait for him. They’re now aiming to start the film around October–November 2024,” a source revealed. The film will be shot in a two-month, continuous schedule in Varanasi and other locations in Uttar Pradesh, with a theatrical release targeted for mid-2025.
