The isekai subgenre of Japanese anime has been soaring in popularity in recent years, and every anime season adds a few more titles to the isekai pool. Even if some anime fans feel burnt out by now, plenty more are eager for new isekai anime series to lose themselves in.
Isekai anime features main characters who are either transported or reincarnated, mostly with the help of the infamous Truck-kun, to another world. Whether an anime fan is newly exploring the genre or looking for their next anime to binge-watch, Crunchyroll has the best anime available on stream.

The following contains spoilers for The Penguin Season 1, Episode 4, "Cent'anni," which debuted Oct. 13 on HBO and HBO Max.
When it comes to any Batman movie or TV show, fans will always want to see Easter eggs and nostalgic references to the past. Matt Reeves' The Batman Universe is no different, especially now that The Penguin is in circulation. It stars Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb, a modern reinterpretation of the titular gangster, as he tries to rule the crime roost in Gotham City.
Granted, a lot of the show focuses on the Maronis, Falcones and some new characters. But there are homages to the source material like Magpie, who, in this case, is an Arkham hospital inmate that befriends Cristin Milioti's Sofia Falcone. Episode 4, "Cent'anni," also includes another deep cut, delving into an intriguing character from Batman: The Animated Series: Summer Gleeson.

With the second season of the highly acclaimed Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon, coming to its spectacular conclusion this summer, fans of the HBO series are already on the lookout for something new to fill the void during the lengthy wait for the next installment. The unique appeal of House of the Dragon is hard to capture - the series splendid combination of high fantasy, tense political drama, and thrilling interpersonal disputes is not something viewers come by often.
Yet, the medium of anime is surprisingly rich with series that encapsulate the traits beloved by those appreciative of George R.R. Martins work. While the exact formula of HBOs fantasy epic is irreplicable, various anime delve into themes that make up the appeal of the celebrated TV series. Be it fantastical and cruel tales of strife that mirror the TV shows setting or overblown political chronicles with...

Mackenzie is back in the Love Island USA villa for another shot at love. Pic credit: @mackenziedipman/Instagram
Love Island USA alum Mackenzie Dipman will shake things up on Season 4 as she prepares to enter the villa for a second time.
Mackenzie will make history as the first-ever former islander to return to the show.
Season 2 featured Mackenzie, and she spent most of her time fretting over her relationship with Connor Trott. They coupled up early in the season but endured several ups and downs inside the villa.
Although they left the villa separately, Connor and Mackenzie rekindled their romance, dating for months after the reality TV show ended.
Over a year after their split, Mackenzie remains single and ready to mingle with the hunky Season 4 islander men.
The blonde beauty will have a huge advantage over the current islanders in the villa. Mackenzie has done this before, and this time around,...

"There's one more thing... you can talk to animals." Viva Pictures has debuted a new full-length official Us trailer for an animated film titled The Son of Bigfoot, produced by StudioCanal in France, and animated by nWave Pictures in Belgium. The film is aimed towards younger kids and families, and is about a boy who goes "on an epic and daring quest to uncover the mystery behind his long-lost dad, only to find out that he is none other than the legendary Bigfoot." Surprise! Don't confuse this with the other animated bigfoot movie coming out this year - Smallfoot - which is made by Warner Bros. The voice cast for Son of Bigfoot includes Cinda Adams, Mari Devon, and Kirk Thornton. This really looks really bad, and I always wonder how animation this awful still gets made, because it seems like no one even tried to make a good movie.
