Sunday’s SAG Awards ceremony will be a streaming event for the first time on the Netflix YouTube channel. One of the highlights each year is the special In Memoriam segment. It’s been a particularly rough year with over 100 deaths of prominent actors and actresses who were likely members of SAG/AFTRA. Show producers typically are able to include approximately 40-50 people in a tribute.
Among that group will certainly be Oscar winners Louise Fletcher, William Hurt and Irene Cara, plus nominees Angela Lansbury (a SAG life achievement recipient) and Melinda Dillon. Emmy champs Mary Alice, Kirstie Alley, Leslie Jordan, Ray Liotta, Stuart Margolin, Robert Morse and Barbara Walters.

This post contains spoilers for "Andor" episode 9.
It's a credit to the creatives on "Andor" that the "Rogue One" prequel-spinoff series has found a way to expose the true depravity of the Galactic Empire while barely shedding even a single drop of blood. That extended to last week's bummer of an episode, which ended with Bix Caleen (Adria Arjona) being captured by the Imperials on Ferrix. The last we saw of her, Cassian's former (?) girlfriend and faithful ally was about to be tortured by Dedra Meero (Denise Gough) and her associates. Exactly what sickening interrogation tactics would the Imperial Security Bureau subject our hero to?
No, Bix didn't have to listen to the digital mixtape that Syril Karn (Kyle Soller) has definitely made to try and impress Dedra, based on the pair's deeply uncomfortable interaction in this week's episode, "Nobody's Listening." Instead, after Dedra makes it clear that she's...

In story 1, a night basketball game leads to the discovery of a woman performing a heart massage on another. Flack (Eddie Cahill) deems it an open and shut case. The Vic was Rachel Camden, ( Ranjani Brow) married and divorced. Flack says the suspect was covered in blood and the murder weapon was found next to her. Stella (Melina Kanakaredes) says the Vic died instantly. Mac (Gary Sinise) comments on it being a "crime of passion between two apparent strangers." She looks at Mac. Stella processes her for trace, talk about giving her the rough treatment. She drinks water and Stella takes the glass. In story 2, the Db of an unidentified man is found. Danny (Carmine Giovinazzo) notices the presence of blood spatter. Aiden (Vanessa Ferlito) notices his pockets have been turned inside out and he doesn't have a wallet or keys. Hawkes (Hill Harper) removes his clothes (no not his own clothes!

A tourist on a tour bus finds a dressed up skeleton. First on the scene is Stella (Melina Kanakaredes) with lame joke in tow and Mac (Gary Sinise). Stella "How long was that soda?" That was meant to be funny. Mac on the other hand comments it's a "new take on a bitch ride to hell." Wouldn't expect to hear something like that from Mac. Stella thinks perhaps it's an urban legend or a joke shop gag to scare tourists and the skeleton was probably bought from a store. Mac has to describe to her the difference between store bought and an actual skeleton and she's come across how many skeletons during her career that she can't tell the difference. A store bought skeleton would be bleached, have drill marks when assembled. This is brown with no such marks. Mac: "This is a joke I'm not laughing. These bones are real.

As most of us wait until next year for season 8 of CSI:ny, thought some of us would love a look back on how it all began, especially since a lot of what happens in this opening episode bears a lot on the personal life of Mac in the season 8 opener, as regards his wife Claire, who as we now know will be played by Jamie Ray Newman. For the rest, it's a nostalgic look back at our fave show and characters, how they were and what made this season great was no Lindsay! Okay that's just one reason for me! The scene opens with Mac (Gary Sinise) praying in church and is interrupted by a beep, he's needed on a case. Cue Cs and our first introduction of Det Don Flack Jr (Eddie Cahill) as he wasn't featured in the CSI:Miami/CSI:ny crossover, intro episode. He identifies the Vic as...
