(November 2, 2010 - March 2011) His novel, "Elling", was adapted on stage first by Axel Hellstenius and Petter Næss and a new English adaptation by Simon Bent at the Ethel Barrymore Theater on Broadway in New York City with Brendan Fraser, Denis O'Hare, Jennifer Coolidge and Richard Easton in the cast. Doug Hughes was the director.
