Amazon Prime Video has renewed “Maxton Hall – The World Between Us” for Season 3. The new season will follow the third book in Mona Katsen’s book series, continuing James and Ruby’s story at the opulent boarding school. Season 2 of “Maxton Hall – The World Between Us” will be released on November 7.

The official description for Season 2 states:

“After their passionate night together in Oxford and her greatest life goal within reach, everything seems to be going perfectly for Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten). But a stroke of fate in James’ (Damian Hardung) family changes everything and James himself, of all people, brings her back from cloud nine to a harsh reality. Ruby is devastated. She has never had such strong feelings for anyone as she does for James – and never before has anyone hurt her so deeply. She wants her old life back, where no one at Maxton Hall knew her yet...

The A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise has some of the best heroines of the horror genre – and my personal favorite of the Elm Street heroines is Alice Johnson, played by Lisa Wilcox in A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master and A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child. JoBlo’s own Ryan Cultrera was able to catch up with Wilcox at the Ve Neill’s Vampire Weekend convention in California last month and talked with her about her encounters with Freddy Krueger and the experience of working on those classic ’80s horror films. The Women in Entertainment (Wie) Summit will return with its sixth annual event this June, taking place for the first time since 2019, Variety has learned exclusively.

Founded by Renee Rossi (Relativity Ventures) and Gretchen McCourt, Wie aims to bring together women and men who are “dedicated to celebrating the empowerment of women in all areas of the entertainment industry.” Held at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California on June 22, the 2022 summit with panel topics including “how creatives keep a beloved story relevant to up and coming audiences, how media companies are expanding their offerings to meet the needs of today’s consumers, how to negotiate deals within the IP and talent rights space, and much more.”

I wanted to do a retrospective on A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child last year, but with the remake being released, everyone and their mother was doing something related to the series. I am not a follower, so I decided to wait until the clutter cleared to discuss one of my favorite sequels in the franchise with actress Erika Anderson.

Jason Bene: How did you get the part as Greta Gibson?

Erika Anderson: I got the part of Greta after auditioning several times. Stephen Hopkins later told me one of the reasons they chose me for Greta was because I wasn’t afraid to get really Really ugly. (And because I scream really loud).
