Netflix has added nine actors to the cast for Xo, Kitty, its upcoming To All the Boys spinoff series. Joining as series regulars are Choi Min-yeong (Dream Palace), Anthony Keyvan, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Peter Thurnwald (Players) and Regan Aliyah (Club Mickey Mouse). They will appear opposite Anna Cathcart, who takes on the titular role. The series comes from co-showrunners and executive producer Jenny Han and Sascha Rothchild.

In the series, teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey (Cathcart) thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.

Netflix is sending teen matchmaker Kitty Song-Covey halfway across the world for a romantic adventure of her own. But as she moves to South Korea to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, Kitty will soon learn that “relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.”

Netflix’s “Xo, Kitty,” the spinoff of its “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” trilogy, has started production in Seoul, South Korea, the streamer announced Tuesday.

Netflix paired the production announcement with several new casting details.

Joining in series regular roles are Choi Min-yeong who is playing Dae; Anthony Keyvan will play Q; Gia Kim will play Yuri; Sang Heon Lee will play Min Ho; Peter Thurnwald will play Alex; and Regan Aliyah will play Juliana.

In recurring roles are “Lost’s” Yunjin Kim as Jina; Michael K Lee as Professor Lee; and Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison.

As previously reported by TheWrap, Anna Cathcart will reprise her role as Kitty from the “To All the Boys” movies.

This first season of “Xo, Kitty” will be directed by Jennifer Arnold, Jeff Chan, Pamela Romanowsky and Katina Medina Mora.

Exclusive: Mia Kaplan (Smilf), Rainn Wilson (Jerry and Marge Go Large), Missi Pyle (Y: The Last Man), newcomer Jemima Yevu and Jolene Purdy (The White Lotus) have signed on to star in Empire Waist, a body-positive, coming-of-age dramedy from writer-director Claire Ayoub and Wayfarer Studios, which is currently in production in New York.

Ayoub’s first feature centers on a group of teens who overcome societal bias and celebrate self-acceptance through inclusive fashion design and friendship. Kaplan plays the lead role of Lenore, a teen deeply insecure about her weight. Hiding her passion for fashion design, Lenore tries to make herself invisible in her day-to-day life to avoid being bullied — both by her classmates and image-conscious mother (Pyle). Meanwhile her best friend Kayla (Yevu) is confident, funny, outgoing, and proud of her plus-sized body.

Wilson will play Lenore’s father, Mark, who is his daughter’s biggest cheerleader, with Purdy as Ms.

We’ll be seeing more of Antoine in Season 2 of Emily in Paris. William Abadie, who recurred as the character in Season 1, has been promoted to series regular the next installment of the Netflix series. Additionally, Lucien Laviscount has joined in a recurring role.

The series also confirmed its slate of directors this season including returning writer-producer-director Andrew Fleming (The Craft: Legacy) and Peter Lauer (Younger). Joining as new directors are Katina Medina Mora and Jennifer Arnold. Season 2 is currently in production.

With Jennifer Arnold entering her second cancer-free year, cameras follow the couple as they balance focusing on Bill Klein's recovery from recent back surgery and life with their two toddlers.

Dr. Jen Arnold publicly battled a rare stage three cancer on the last season of TLC's The Little Couple. Now, she's getting an update from her oncologist on her cancer status in an exclusive clip from Tuesday night's episode.

Luckily, it's all good news for Jen, as she learns that her prognosis is so good that she can have her port, a catheter inserted under the skin to deliver medicine, removed. First, though, she has to have the catheter flushed, a painful procedure that Jen braves in her characteristic stoic way, as her devoted husband Bill grips her hand tightly.
