I'm pissed that Charlie Sheen will appear on The Walking Dead season 2, and at Hollywood for its double standards when it comes to racism and sexism.

According to socyberty.com, Charlie Sheen is super-excited to play the role of a walking undead zombie on the next season of The Walking Dead because he's been such a huge fan of the first season.

Sheen stars on the really bad, mediocre-mentality-sitcom Two and a Half Men, at which he earns 1.25 million dollars per episode, and including all the episodes, the residuals, the DVD sales, etc., he ends up with about 80 Million in his pockets each year, thanks to you and your adoring fan selves who keep watching him despite the fact that he has repeatedly beaten, hit, pushed, shoved, punched, and threatened his wives and girlfriends. Did I mention he has two small daughters? Yeah, I'm sure they're safe.

The hardest thing about dealing with someone you love battling addiction (or any mental illness...or any illness or less-than-ideal-life-situation for that matter) is sitting with the whole "consequences shape behavior" concept. Turning your own son in on probation violation -which Martin Sheen did when Charlie Sheen overdosed in 1998 - is not easy even if it's rcommended by addiction professionals and Al-Anon.

Now for most people, getting fired from your job for getting drunk, high, and violence towards women would be the standard response...unless you're a celebrity like Charlie Sheen. For celebrities, all publicity is good publicity. And for Sheen...

Dr. Michelle Golland: Charlie Sheen and his entourage are playing a deadly game with women's lives. While reading about his latest drunken, violent episode, I couldn't help but think of Phil Spector, who was convicted of murdering Lana Clarkson in a drunken haze. During the court proceedings in Spector's case, numerous women reported having been threatened and treated violently by Phil Spector. Spector's entourage had done him no service by minimizing his violent tendencies.

In my estimation, if Charlie Sheen continues on this path -- with his representatives minimizing and enabling his violent and destructive behavior -- we might someday see someone seriously hurt, if not dead. Hopefully we won't be seeing Charlie Sheen in an orange jumpsuit, and an innocent life taken because of his serious emotional and mental-health issues.

Let's take a look at Charlie Sheen's violent history against women, which began in the early 1990's:

Charlie Sheen may have dodged a bullet, but he didn't dodge Gloria Allred -- because she's in Aspen, armed with a woman who we're told would have been a witness in Charlie's case had it gone to trial.

We're told Allred flew in over the weekend and will hold a news conference after Charlie's court hearing today.  The woman -- we do not know her identity -- will be by Gloria's side and will speak as well.

Gloria has a history with Charlie ... she repped Brittany Ashland, who sued Charlie in 1997 for allegedly physically abusing her.  We're told Ashland reached a settlement with Charlie but the terms are confidential.  Charlie pled no contest in '97 to misdemeanor battery in the criminal case.

We're told the woman who will be by Allred's side is neither Brittany Ashland nor Denise Richards.  It's almost certainly not Kelly Preston.

Brittany Ashland – who filed a suit in 1997 alleging the ‘Two and a Half Men’ star attacked her – has reportedly approached Arnold Mordkin, the Pitkin County Deputy District Attorney in charge of the case against Charlie, who is accused of assaulting his wife Brooke Mueller on Christmas Day (25.12.09) and offered to give evidence against him, Radar Online have reported.

Charlie, 44, is expected to plead not guilty to a felony and two misdemeanour charges when he appears in court on March 15.

It was previously reported that the district attorney in charge of the case was keen to interview the actor’s other ex-girlfriend Kelly Preston, as well as former wife Denise Richards.

In 1990, he accidentally shot Kelly – who is now married to John Travolta - in the arm, which led to the end of their engagement, while Denise filed a restraining order in 2006 claiming he'd threatened to kill her.

Charlie Sheen’s Dec. 25 arrest isn’t just a legal or family issue — it’s also a PR nightmare! “He’s going to lose a lot of money,” image expert Michael Sands tells HollywoodLife.com. “He’s going to lose easily $1 million.” Sands says the first step to fixing Charlie’s image is personally admitting the whole truth behind the situation. Until then, he says things will only get worse for Charlie. “He needs to bite the bullet. … If he wants to draw this out, he’s got a major problem.”

“I’d get rid of the case as soon as I could,” Sands tells us. “I would start going to 12 step programs publicly. He needs to get into a battered woman’s shelter and work there and learn about domestic violence. I think he needs to go into classes.

In 1996, adult film actress Brittany Ashland accused Charlie of attacking her in his San Fernando Valley Home. She accused him of throwing her onto his kitchen floor and splitting her lip open in the process. So what happened to Charlie after Brittany finally took him to court in June 1997?

Charlie plead no contest, which means he didn’t dispute the charges brought against him. The judge issued him a one year suspension sentence and placed him on two years’ probation. He also fined Charlie $2,800.
