The third season of Ginny & Georgia has begun streaming on Netflix and Georgia's (Brianne Howey) trial for the murder of Tom Fuller (Vincent Legault) serves as the main draw. Key to how the course of events travel is Diesel La Torraca who plays Austin, Georgia's son in the Netflix series. The character is the nine-year-old little brother to Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and son of Georgia, and while he might have remained the same age throughout the show's three seasons, Torraca has visibly grown in that time. Now aged 14, the actor's contrasting age with his character has been the subject of online jokes. However, La Torraca has since taken them in good faith.
Speaking to Screen Rant, the actor revealed that he wasn't aware of how the coming season might deal with Austin's age. La Torraca does reveal that the upcoming episodes should pick up after the summer when Ginny returns from Korea.

Ginny & Georgia has thrown us more than a few curveballs over the years. From secret past to explosive family drama and shocking arrest, it never failed to leave us with a surprising revelation. I thought I was paying attention since day one, but I was really blindsided by one thing.
No, the show didn’t sneak a plot twist into a back-alley flashback or drop it mid-murder confession. This twist was hiding in broad daylight. Right, there were on our screen, plain as day. It has everything to do with one cast. Because the cast that we saw turned out to be something way clever and way more confusing.

SkyMed's prognosis is good. The Canadian medical drama has been cleared for liftoff for another season. The series' third season premiered this spring on Paramount+, and will return for a fourth season next year. The series, which is filmed on location in northern Manitoba, centers around a group of nurses and pilots working for an air ambulance service, performing death-defying, life-saving procedures 20,000 feet in the air. The show frequently makes use of practical effects with actual aircraft, rather than using green-screen technology.
SkyMed premiered in 2022 on CBC, Canada's national broadcasting service. It was created by Julie Puckrin (Killjoys), who was inspired by her own sister, a nurse, and brother-in-law, a pilot; they met while working for an air ambulance service themselves. The show has notably featured both queer and Indigenous storylines to properly reflect the diversity of Canada's north. The fourth season will be eight episodes long, one episode shorter...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Ginny & Georgia Season 3.] “We knew we needed to push our characters to the limit,” Ginny & Georgia creator Sarah Lampert told TV Insider, and the show certainly didn’t hold back. From Georgia’s (Brianne Howey) murder trial to Marcus’ (Felix Mallard) alcoholism to Ginny’s (Antonia Gentry) abortion, every character faced struggles in Wellsbury. The third season, which dropped on June 5, ended with a not guilty verdict for Georgia, thanks to her kids framing Austin’s (Diesel La Torraca) father, Gil (Aaron Ashmore), for Tom Fuller’s death. Ginny and Austin had to go to the edge of darkness to save their mother, but will they pay a price in the already-confirmed Season 4? The writer and executive producer explained that Ginny becomes “the healthiest she’s ever been” as she juggles her mother’s trial in Season 3. “She really learned how to establish boundaries. She almost relapsed with her self-harm once,...

In “Ginny & Georgia” Season 3, Brianne Howey’s Georgia Miller is put on trial — but not just in the court of law. “She’s also on trial with her friends and family,” showrunner Sarah Glinski told TheWrap. “Everyone’s judging her and figuring out if they want to continue being part of their lives.”
That includes her daughter, Ginny (Antonia Gentry), who is taken from Georgia in the midst of her murder trial to live with her father, Zion (Nathan Mitchell), while Austin (Diesel La Torraca) is sent to live with his father, Gil (Aaron Ashmore), whose pattern of abuse raises eyebrows. Though Ginny and Georgia’s separation forces the mother-daughter duo to confront some difficult issues on their own, series creator Sarah Lampert noted the shift could ultimately help them achieve a healthier relationship.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Ginny & Georgia Season 3.] After a two-year break, Ginny & Georgia returned for Season 3 and hit the ground running. The Netflix series picked up right after Georgia’s (Brianne Howey) arrest (at her own wedding!) in connection with Tom Fuller’s death. Georgia was put on trial, which tested Ginny (Antonia Gentry), Austin (Diesel La Torraca), Paul (Scott Porter), and the rest of Wellsbury like never before. Over the course of Season 3, Georgia’s chances of getting out of jail grew smaller. All signs pointed to Georgia being convicted of killing Tom Fuller without a Hail Mary. Well, Ginny stepped in with a Hail Ginny. Ginny knew that she would lose her mother to prison if someone else weren’t implicated in Tom Fuller’s death. She soon realized (after finding out key information from Cynthia) that Georgia’s abusive ex and Austin’s father, Gil (Aaron Ashmore), would be the perfect...

People travel all over the world for a honeymoon: Italy, the Maldives, Japan. Brianne Howey’s Georgia Faces A Life Sentence And Murder Trial In ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Season 3 Trailer
Netflix has released the full trailer for Season 3 of one of its biggest young adult hits, Ginny & Georgia, Season 3 of which could be headed down a dark path. The show returns to Netflix June 5 with 10 episodes.
Season 2 ended on quite a few chaotic notes, including Georgia (Brianne Howey) getting arrested at her fairytale wedding to Mayor Paul Randolph (Scott Porter).

"Smallville," which had an impressive run from 2001-2011, was the retelling of Clark Kent's (Tom Welling) rural upbringing in Kansas before he becomes the Man of Steel. The show was an incredible success on all fronts and is still fondly remembered to this day. However, as beloved as the series remains, that doesn't mean every one of its 217 episodes was a home run. There were more than a few stinkers, with season 6, episode 20, "Noir" being one of the most notorious and divisive.
The episode is a mostly black-and-white feature that acts as an homage to the noir films from the 1940s, with Aaron Ashmore's Jimmy Olsen dreaming up a noir escapade and serving as the investigative reporter two steps behind a bewildering murder case. While Ashmore remembers the episode fondly, Welling himself seems to recall things with a different lens, especially when it comes to the early plans for "Noir.

Netflix unveiled a small glimpse into Season 3 of Ginny & Georgia by releasing a teaser trailer for the next installment of one of its biggest YA series, which returns to the small screen June 5.

Skyler Gisondo's portrayal of Jimmy Olsen just got James Gunn's stamp of approval. The Superman writer-director recently shared a new look at the DC Universe's Jimmy Olsen to celebrate the character's anniversary.
The new image was shared on Threads and shows Gunn chatting with Gisondo, in costume as Jimmy Olsen, during a break in filming. "Today is the anniversary of Superman’s Best Pal Jimmy Olsen. [Skyler Gisondo's] performance in [Superman] is gonna knock you out of your socks," Gunn captioned the picture, which was taken by Jessica Miglio. Although an unnamed "office boy" debuted earlier in DC Comics, Jimmy Olsen's first official appearance was on the radio serial The Adventures of Superman on Apr. 15, 1940. Check out the new look at Gisondo's Jimmy Olsen below.

Smallville star Aaron Ashmore has been reflecting on his departure from the popular The CW series, and how he is still a little put out by how his role of “Jimmy” Olsen was flipped on the show.
Ashmore appeared with his former costar, Michael Rosenbaum, on the Inside of You podcast, and naturally talk turned to their time on Smallville. Addressing the way his character was shockingly killed off in the show, the actor also recalled finding out that he wasn’t playing Jimmy Olsen as he originally believed. He said:
“I don't know... Literally, what they told me, was that because this wasn't the actual Superman timeline, this canon that we all know, it's slightly different. 'You can't be Jimmy Olsen because it's too young. Clark needs to be older,' all this sort of stuff. So at first, I was bummed, because I've been doing all these interviews for three years.

We didn't see Allison Mack on screen again following her decade-long stint in Smallville, and later learned she'd become embroiled in a sex cult known as Nxivm.
Arrested by the FBI in 2018, Mack pleaded guilty to charges of trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy, and forced labour conspiracy. Accusations of money laundering and identity fraud followed, with racketeering and conspiracy charges also later added.
The actress who played Clark Kent's best friend, Chloe Sullivan, ultimately served 2 years behind bars and was released in 2023.
Mack, who has now vanished from the spotlight, was said to have been responsible for recruiting new members to the group and has previously been accused of attempting to enlist her Smallville co-stars.

Despite semi-frequent comparisons to Gilmore Girls, Netflix’s Ginny & Georgiais its own dramedy. It’s a genre-savvy addition to an otherwise crowded and competitive field. More importantly, fans are looking forward to its upcoming third season. And it’s not as if the show is a niche hit. It handily earned the second top spot as Netflix’s most-streamed show in early 2023. While its first season may have been a rocky start, critics have praised its second streaming foray as its best yet. Like many shows, it took time for Ginny & Georgia to find its stride.
As if the show’s rising prominence isn’t enough, it seems like big changes are just around the corner. In a recent interview with People magazine, Brianne Howey, Georgia’s actress, teased that her character will be doing “one or two things” viewers might find “hard to get behind.” It’s an exciting,...

The stars of Smallville recently discussed the Superman prequel series, revealing what mementos they took from the set. The fan-favorite The CW series, which continues to be popular, ended its remarkable ten-season run fourteen years ago.
Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Kristin Kreuk, and Erica Durance were all on the Smallville MegaCon panel. Cbr asked the actors what they had taken from the set, to which the Clark Kent/Superman actor Welling responded, "Just my memories." His co-stars, however, were not quite as reticent. "I got the Smallville jacket. I have Lex's goggles. A picture of the crazy doll," Lex Luthor actor Rosenbaum stated. Kreuk revealed she had kept a memento from one of the wildest Smallville episodes, "Thirst," which had her character Lana Lang turn into a vampire. "My vampire teeth and de-kryptonite necklace," she responded. Durance, who portrayed Lois Lane, kept her character's name tag and entire wardrobe.

The upcoming 2025 Superman movie will work in several ways, being the first movie in the newly relaunched DC Universe while also rebooting the Man of Steel. Meant to be a more traditional take on the hero compared to the DC Extended Universe version, it will also have a much more accurate take on Lex Luthor. Most interestingly, Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor may draw from an iconic TV show inspiration.

The CW’s Smallville told the story of Clark Kent before he was Superman, starting in his teen years. Clark doesn’t fully transform into the famous comic book hero until the final episode of the series. The hit superhero show created by Al Gough and Miles Millar featured many recognizable names from the Superman comics, like Lana Lang, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen.
In DC Comics’ Superman, Jimmy Olsen was a young photographer at the Daily Planet and good friends with Lois Lane and Clark Kent. Smallville’s Jimmy was also a photojournalist, and he was a love interest for Chloe Sullivan. Introducing Jimmy Olsen in Smallville created some discrepancies in the timeline and ultimately led to Jimmy’s death on the show.

Viewers who have watched Smallville (2001-2011) all the way through might remember actor Shawn Ashmore's first appearance as Eric Summers in the Season 1 episode, "Leech." In the early days of Smallville, the show had what Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor) has dubbed on his rewatch podcast, Talk Ville, a freak-of-the-week formula. Most episodes dealt with someone in town who was somehow affected by Kryptonite -- called meteor rock at this stage -- which generally lent itself to strange abilities or powers. The episode with Eric Summers was unique in that it showcased what would happen if another person gained Clark Kent's (Tom Welling) superhuman abilities. This led to more appearances by Ashmore during the run of the series.

The appeal of sci-fi shows like Black Mirror, Dark, and Station Eleven, some of the best dystopian sci-fi TV shows, is that they explore human truths using the context of technological advancement. From body modifications to time travel, sci-fi presents the dream of breaking boundaries that physics and biology impose on us, and uses that context to confront viewers with questions about the nature of humanity. While some shows like Star Trek have such a legacy that they're not only always remembered but consistently rebooted, some equally great shows have a more unfortunate fate.
The problem of relying on viewership per season led to recent sci-fi shows getting canceled that didn't deserve it. Shows like The 100 which have aired for years provide a rich collection of compelling storylines and complex conundrums, but with rampant cancelations, shows rarely have the prospect of doing that anymore. It's a high-risk, high-reward gamble these days.

The MCU is gearing up to introduce the Mutants, something we’ve known since Disney acquired Fox. While you could argue that the Mutants have already made a few brief appearances, the X-Men themselves haven’t yet entered the MCU.
Although their full debut is still some time away, Marvel has promised a major introduction in the future.
Even though we don’t know all the details, it’s clear that Feige and Marvel are taking their time to get it right. The X-Men’s arrival in the MCU will be a major moment and will shape the franchise for years to come.
Given the importance of this debut, fans are understandably anxious about who Marvel will cast. With an already-established X-Men universe, comparisons between the old and new casts are inevitable.

The MCU will soon welcome the Mutants. This is nothing new, of course, as we have known this since Disney acquired Fox. You may argue that the Mutants have already made multiple appearances in the MCU, but the X-Men haven’t. This shift caused some apprehension in Thompson, who portrayed the teenage version of Lorraine Baines, the character that grows up to be Marty's mother. During a recent appearance on the Still Here Hollywood podcast, host Steve Kmetko asked the Caroline in the City actress if she and Fox had...
