The third season of Ginny & Georgia has begun streaming on Netflix and Georgia's (Brianne Howey) trial for the murder of Tom Fuller (Vincent Legault) serves as the main draw. Key to how the course of events travel is Diesel La Torraca who plays Austin, Georgia's son in the Netflix series. The character is the nine-year-old little brother to Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and son of Georgia, and while he might have remained the same age throughout the show's three seasons, Torraca has visibly grown in that time. Now aged 14, the actor's contrasting age with his character has been the subject of online jokes. However, La Torraca has since taken them in good faith.

Speaking to Screen Rant, the actor revealed that he wasn't aware of how the coming season might deal with Austin's age. La Torraca does reveal that the upcoming episodes should pick up after the summer when Ginny returns from Korea.

Paramount+’s medical drama SkyMed has officially been renewed for a fourth season. The streamer announced the series will return and confirmed the upcoming fourth season will consist of eight episodes.

Production is expected to get underway this summer. Paramount+ didn’t confirm when season four will premiere but did announce series regular Natasha Calis (Nurses) will be back as Hayley, Morgan Holmstrom (Outlander) will return as Crystal, Mercedes Morris (Ghosts) reprises her role as Lexi, Sydney Kuhne (Ginny & Georgia) will return as Stef, and Aaron Ashmore (Ginny & Georgia) will be back as Wheezer.

“Inspired by real-life experiences from the lens of SkyMed creator Julie Puckrin, the series follows the triumphs, heartbreaks, and tribulations of budding nurses and pilots flying air ambulances to remote Northern Canada, weaving together intense character journeys with high-stakes medical rescues,” reads Paramount+’s synopsis.

The new image was shared on Threads and shows Gunn chatting with Gisondo, in costume as Jimmy Olsen, during a break in filming. "Today is the anniversary of Superman’s Best Pal Jimmy Olsen. [Skyler Gisondo's] performance in [Superman] is gonna knock you out of your socks," Gunn captioned the picture, which was taken by Jessica Miglio. Smallville star Aaron Ashmore has been reflecting on his departure from the popular The CW series, and how he is still a little put out by how his role of “Jimmy” Olsen was flipped on the show.

Ashmore appeared with his former costar, Michael Rosenbaum, on the Inside of You podcast, and naturally talk turned to their time on Smallville. Addressing the way his character was shockingly killed off in the show, the actor also recalled finding out that he wasn’t playing Jimmy Olsen as he originally believed. He said:

“I don't know... Literally, what they told me, was that because this wasn't the actual Superman timeline, this canon that we all know, it's slightly different. 'You can't be Jimmy Olsen because it's too young. Clark needs to be older,' all this sort of stuff. So at first, I was bummed, because I've been doing all these interviews for three years.

We didn't see Allison Mack on screen again following her decade-long stint in Smallville, and later learned she'd become embroiled in a sex cult known as Nxivm. 

Arrested by the FBI in 2018, Mack pleaded guilty to charges of trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy, and forced labour conspiracy. Accusations of money laundering and identity fraud followed, with racketeering and conspiracy charges also later added.

The actress who played Clark Kent's best friend, Chloe Sullivan, ultimately served 2 years behind bars and was released in 2023.

Mack, who has now vanished from the spotlight, was said to have been responsible for recruiting new members to the group and has previously been accused of attempting to enlist her Smallville co-stars.

Most episodes dealt with someone in town who was somehow affected by Kryptonite -- called meteor rock at this stage -- which generally lent itself to strange abilities or powers. The episode with Eric Summers was unique in that it showcased what would happen if another person gained Clark Kent's (Tom Welling) superhuman abilities. This led to more appearances by Ashmore during the run of the series.

The appeal of sci-fi shows like Black Mirror, Dark, and Station Eleven, some of the best dystopian sci-fi TV shows, is that they explore human truths using the context of technological advancement. From body modifications to time travel, sci-fi presents the dream of breaking boundaries that physics and biology impose on us, and uses that context to confront viewers with questions about the nature of humanity. While some shows like Star Trek have such a legacy that they're not only always remembered but consistently rebooted, some equally great shows have a more unfortunate fate.
