Anna Banshchikova is a Russian theater and film actress. Since childhood, the girl was drawn to the stage - from an early age she often attended the theater, rehearsals and performances of her grandmother. She didn't do well at school; she found exact sciences especially difficult. But her stage talents were revealed. And after graduating from high school, in 1991 she went to the theater institute to take a course at the musical comedy theater. She took a course with Dmitriy Astrakhan. Since 1997 he has been working at the St. Petersburg State Academic Theater named after Vera Komissarzhevskaya.
Thanks to her university mentor Dmitriy Astrakhan, she made her film debut - he cast her in small roles in his films Ty u menya odna (1993) and Vsyo budet khorosho (1995). A break in her artistic career occurred after marriage. Anna abandoned both the stage and filming, completely immersing herself in family relationships, in particular, with her first husband Maksim Leonidov, they traveled around the world for two whole years. Since the early 2000s, Anna has resumed active filming. She played dozens of roles that were remembered by the audience. She repeatedly starred in risky scenes without stunts. For example, on the set of the film Piranha (2006) she had to jump from a helicopter into the water, with her hands tied. And she did it. In 2016, was released the detective film Ishcheyka (2016) directed by Dmitriy Brusnikin, in which the actress plays the main role.
