8 Things You Missed In The Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 Super Bowl Trailer
Image
Eight details in the second Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 trailer could easily have gone unnoticed. Released during Super Bowl Lvii, the trailer provided a close look at what's next for Star-Lord's team of heroes in the MCU. The grim tone in th trailer emphasizes the fact that the third installment in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy is the end of the road for many of the movie's main characters.

In addition to teasing potential deaths for heroes like Drax and Star-Lord, the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 trailer shines the spotlight on Rocket Raccoon's origin story while also explaining the ultimate goal of the movie's main villain, the High Evolutionary. The footage also previewed Adam Warlock's role by allowing for more glimpses of the MCU character. These elements of the movie drew the most attention, which could result in other aspects of the story being overlooked.

What Song Is In The Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 Super Bowl Trailer
Image
Marvel Studios has released a brand-new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, featuring the perfect all-new song to be added to the McU's ongoing "Awesome Mix". Coming from director James Gunn, the upcoming movie will be the final chapter in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, concluding an epic trilogy that has always put its family of characters at the forefront. However, music has always played a key role thanks to Peter Quill's Walkman and Zune with their collection of classic songs.

As seen in the new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Super Bowl trailer, the focus is primarily put on the movie's new villain known as the High Evolutionary (played by Chukwudi Iwuji) as well as the return of Gamora, the daughter of Thanos from 2014 rather than the one who fell in love with Peter Quill's Star-Lord:

Rather than having the same song "In The...

Flashback: The Zombies’ Rod Argent Ventures Into the Land of Prog
On Friday night, the Zombies will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and deservedly so. Few keepsakes of the British Invasion sound as non-musty as “She’s Not There,” their first hit, or “Time of the Season,” their last. Colin Blunstone’s singing, which seems to float above the arrangements, is one reason for their enduring allure, but so is the keyboard playing of Rod Argent. His electric-piano runs on “She’s Not There” and smoky organ on “Time of the Season” have been inspiring air keyboardists for decades.

Twin Peaks (1990)
Twin Peaks Episode 5 Recap: Did We Just Meet [Spoiler]'s Demon Spawn?
Twin Peaks (1990)
So many familiar faces popped up in “Part 5” of Showtime’s Twin Peaks revival — and I think we can see all the far-flung storylines just starting to come together. But it was a minor footnote that finally got me bubbling over with excitement. As the credits rolled, a familiar name popped up in the crawl: angular young actor Eamon Farren is playing (drumroll) “Richard Horne.” That’s Horne, as in Horne’s Department Store, and “I’m Audrey Horne and I get what I want.” (And yes I stood up from my couch and screamed out “He’s a Horne!

Roger Daltrey's Celebrity Band Helps Launch Charity WorkHub
The Who's Roger Daltrey attended the launch of a new charity job centre in the UK last week that caters for people with learning difficulties.

The Rd Crusaders WorkHub has been set up by Norwood, a charity that supports thousands of people with learning disabilities.

The launch follows a fundraising drive that began two years ago, when Daltrey’s star-studded supergroup, The Rd Crusaders, played a concert in Old Billingsgate Market to an audience that included Sarah Ferguson and Elizabeth Hurley. Formed in 2003 by Daltrey and newspaper publisher and Norwood president Richard Desmond, the Rd Crusaders consists of band members such as Lulu, Russ Ballard of Argent (who was also at the launch), Rick Wills, Steve Smith and a number of others who join for special gigs – including Gary Moore, Robert Plant Gary Brooker and more. The band has raised millions of dollars for charities such as the Teenage Cancer Trust,...
