Directed by James Bamford, High Ground is the story of a sheriff who decides to fight for justice and stand up against a dreaded criminal. The film does not give us much insight into the character’s past, which I believe was its biggest flaw. We never feel invested in the characters because we just don’t know who they are. Amell played billionaire playboy turned vigilante Oliver Queen in all eight seasons of the show that launched the Arrowverse for The CW, and while the role skyrocketed him to fame, it wasn’t all positive experiences for Amell. Speaking with Variety, he described his experience as like being “shot out of a cannon” and admitted that he never really enjoyed shooting 10 months out of the year - despite being extremely grateful for Arrow. “The first two or three years of Arrow, I was gripping so tight. I was white-knuckling it,” Amell said, speaking about what he learned from the show.

Bear mentioned that his mother experienced discomfort in her chest and rib area, leading doctors to suspect a mild case of pneumonia.

Brown was also moved to a bigger city for more medical expertise, and they tried to wake her up to continue treatment.

Arrow stars Emily Bett Rickards and David Ramsey have revealed their favorite Arrowverse crossover. Starring Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, The CW series spawned a universe of interconnected shows, including The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman, with Supergirl and Black Lightning eventually joining the fold.

Rickards and Ramsey were at Megacon, where the pair responded to Cbr's question regarding which show they most enjoyed crossing over with the most. "I liked going to The Flash because they were so happy over there," Rickards said. Ramsey discussed the difficult logistics and problems with tonality that came with making The Flash and Arrow crossovers happen but still enjoyed them. He especially enjoyed seeing Amell in Grant Gustin's Flash suit. "They were logistical nightmares," he said. "The Flash was on the other side of the wall and couldn't be more different. Speaking at a panel at Megacon Orlando, per Cbr, Willa Holland, who played Thea Queen – as well as her superhero alter ego, Speedy – described the general air of mystery and anxiety surrounding the season four reveal. Imagine waking up one day in a completely unfamiliar place, with no clue who you are or how you got there. That’s exactly what the protagonist of James Bamford’s latest film, “Man with No Past,” goes through when he finds himself in an unknown city with zero memory of his past. Unfortunately, the film’s weak and underwhelming execution belies its interesting and not-so-frequently discussed topic. In a similar vein, neither the film nor the storyline does anything to bring out the best in the cast. Hollywood legend Jon Voight has a history of success, but his character is lifeless and uninteresting in this film. But whatever the reason, she’s sworn never to use a gun again.

“Luther” sequel film “The Fallen Sun” opens like many of the episodes from the Idris Elba detective drama: with someone getting murdered. In the film’s case, the victim is Callum Aldrich (James Bamford), who is kidnapped and killed by wealthy serial killer David Robey (Andy Serkis). But in the film’s first draft, Callum was a woman before creator Neil Cross made a rewrite — at the request of Netflix.

Cross revealed the change in a recent interview with The Independent. The writer, who created the original series and penned every episode in addition to “Fallen Sun’s” screenplay, said that the first victim was female in the original script in part because he believes violence against women is more “frightening” for viewers.

King of Killers, the upcoming feature adaptation of the graphic novel by Underworld co-creator Kevin Grevioux, is getting a TV series.

The martial-arts action series King of Killers will be a prequel series, set before the action of the feature film and the graphic novel. Red Sea Media, which is producing the film together with Redbox Entertainment, will also bankroll the TV series, producing in association with Dovetale Media, Creative Saskatchewan and Karma Films. The series is set to begin shooting in Saskatchewan later this year with martial arts actor Alain Moussi (Jiu Jitsu) to star.

In addition to co-financing, Red Sea Media will distribute the six-episode series worldwide.

James Bamford and Christina Laughlin are attached as showrunners. Volume Global and Manitoba-based Julijette Inc. will lend key production support. The series is set to shoot from November 2022 through June 2023.
