Tonight, the Suzi Bass Awards, Inc. revealed nominations for the 2014-2015 Atlanta professional theatrical season to theatre patrons and industry artists. The Suzi Nomination Party, which rotates venues, was hosted this year by Horizon Theatre. Guest announcers included the ladies of The Weird Sisters Theatre Project Kelly Criss, Veronika Duerr, Jaclyn Hofmann, Tiffany Porter, and Megan Rose. Among the notable nominees are Broadway-bound Tuck Everlasting and stage vet Will Swenson, who starred in Bull Durham at the Alliance.Scroll down for the full list of nominees...

Jordan Dean Mamma Mia Csc's Midsummer, Jeff Hayenga The Man Who Came to Dinner, The Elephant Man, Mark Junek 'Smash', Berkeley Rep's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike and Elizabeth Morton Death of a Salesman will lead an industry reading of Locust Song, a new play by Jerry Marsini on November 17th at 7 pm and on November 18th at 1230pm at the WorkShop Theater Company's Main Stage, 312 W 36th Street. Drama Desk Nominee, Tony Speciale, who recently directed the Barry Manilow musical Harmony 2014 Suzi Bass Award winner Outstanding Director of a Musical amp Outstanding Production of a Musical, will direct the Manhattan reading.

The Suzi Bass Awards, Inc. announced winners for the 2013-2014 Atlanta professional theatrical season this evening at the awards ceremony at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts Center. The evening was hosted by Rob Cleveland. Presenters included Deadre Moore, Ingrid Cole and Christy Baggett, Eric and Bethany Mendenhall, Veronika Duerr and Laura Cole, Clifton Guterman and Wabe's John Lemley, Tess and Mark Kincaid, and Karen Howell and Chris Ekholm.
