The Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Actress You Forgot Played Jerry's Girlfriend On Seinfeld
Image
The fictional Jerry Seinfeld has never been particularly lucky in love. Sure, he dated plenty of women throughout the show's nine seasons, but he didn't exactly have long-lasting, meaningful relationships with any of them. His closest female relationship is with his ex-girlfriend and ever-present friend Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), which is kind of refreshingly open-minded for a guy like Jerry, but that means there just weren't very many long-term girlfriend guest roles on "Seinfeld." In fact, Seinfeld's longest onscreen romance lasted for just four episodes, and it was with Rachel (Melanie Smith), who made out with him during a screening of "Schindler's List" and absolutely horrified Seinfeld's nearby nemesis, Newman (Wayne Knight). While she's not the most memorable of Seinfeld's girlfriends because she's at least somewhat normal, Smith gives a good performance and manages to hold her own alongside some of TV's funniest comedians of the '90s.

Star Trek: Discoverys Breen Reveal Already Happened In DS9
Image
Star Trek: Discovery season 5 revealed more about the Breen than ever before, but two characters from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine already knew what the Breen looked like 800 years before L'ak (Elias Toufexis) removed his helmet. The Breen were first spoken of in Star Trek: The Next Generation, but it was Star Trek: Deep Space Nine that formally introduced the Breen as fearsome aliens wearing helmets and refrigeration suits. The Breen soon allied with the Dominion and became an existential threat to the United Federation of Planets.

During the waning months of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's Dominion War, the Breen turned the tide against the Federation. The Breen not only destroyed Captain Benjamin Sisko's USS Defiant with an energy-dissipating device, but they attacked Earth and dealt a devastating blow to the Federation's home world. The level of menace the Breen became was only hinted at in their first...

Why 3 Actresses Played Dukat’s Daughter In Star Trek: DS9
Image
Three actresses portrayed Tora Ziyal on DS9 due to evolving storylines and casting choices, including Cyia Batten, Tracy Middendorf, and Melanie Smith. Ziyal's tragic arc involved being ostracized by Cardassian society, falling for Garak, and ultimately being executed as a traitor by Legate Damar. Nana Visitor's desire for a Cardassian orphan storyline led to Tracy Middendorf being cast but Melanie Smith's maturity won her the role long-term.

There are various reasons why three actresses ended up playing Tora Ziyal, the daughter of Gul Dukat (Marc Alaimo) in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Gul Dukat's half-Bajoran daughter was first introduced in DS9 season 4, episode 5, "Indiscretion", which saw Dukat and Major Kira Nerys (Nana Visitor) team up to investigate the fate of a crashed Cardassian freighter. Over the course of the episode, it was revealed that Dukat joined Kira's mission to locate his daughter and kill her, as he knew that...

'Killer Movie' - Review
by Jamie Zaccharia, MoreHorror.com

Killer Movie is about a TV crew and a spoiled Lohan-type celebrity who travel to a small middle-of-nowhere Northwestern town and have to outlive a serial killer while simultaneously try to film something worthwhile. It wasn't so much a horror movie as a mystery movie, or a satire to be more precise. While it was a fun watch, I was never scared and it wasn't until halfway through the movie when I actually started wondering who the killer might be. Although I did like the mockumentary style of the film, and I think in that respect it brought something new to the table.

There are a lot of characters, which can be confusing if you're not paying attention. For the most part, I think the film was cast very well, with the exception of Kaley Cuoco as Blanca Champion, the stuck-up celebrity. I didn't hate her in the part,...

Kimberly Wyatt: 'Dancers must be brave'
Kimberly Wyatt
Kimberly Wyatt has said that dancers have to be brave if they are to succeed. The Pussycat Dolls star and Got To Dance judge told The Guardian that it is vital for young dancers to experiment. Wyatt said: "You have to be brave as a dancer, to try new things and tricks and be flexible - you have to be prepared to fall on your bottom or your head. "It's happened to me a lot and it happens to dancers all through their careers. I'm lucky in that I have a background (more)...

Kimberly Wyatt Reunites With Ashley Roberts for Debut Single
Kimberly Wyatt is working with her former The Pussycat Dolls bandmate Ashley Roberts again. The pair, who both announced their departures from the girl group within days of each other in February, have since collaborated for Kimberly's debut single with her new group Her Majesty And The Wolves.

"I brought Ashley to help with the choreography and we danced together on 'Stars In your Eyes' which is the first single," Kimberly, 28, exclusively told Bang Showbiz. "I love collaborations! They are the best thing to do when you're being creative."

Kimberly, who appeared in the original line up of The Pussycat Dolls with Ashley, Nicole Scherzinger, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton and Carmit Bachar, is also "definitely" open to the idea of working with the other ex-members of the group.

She added, "I'm always going to collaborate when it comes to dancing and choreography and it just so happened that Ashley was my first one,...

The Objective and Killer Movie (Tribeca Flashback Review)
Current events inform these two genre films: Daniel Myrick’s The Objective takes place against the backdrop of the war in the Middle East, while Jeff Fisher’s Killer Movie puts a horrific spin on the endless reality-television trend. For The Blair Witch Project’s Myrick, The Objective marks a return to the scenario of a group of people venturing into forbidding territory where mysterious forces threaten them, while Fisher has intimate knowledge of his film’s specific milieu, having served time on the likes of The Real World/Road Rules and The Simple Life. But while the former effectively makes an already harrowing situation worse with the introduction of the supernatural, the latter doesn’t come up with anything that’s as scary as, say, the prospect of sitting through a whole season of Paris Hilton hijinx. Myrick, who scripted The Objective with Mark A. Patton and Wesley Clark Jr.,...
