Alison Brie is following up Together with her directorial debut, described as a "female-forward" horror film. Neon has set itself apart with a series of critically acclaimed horrors and the studio has a few more up its sleeve. One of them is the highly acclaimed body horror film Together.

The movie premiered earlier this year at Sundance and received a rare perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes from the critics. Together stars real-life married couple Alison Brie and Dave Franco, who play a couple who trigger a supernatural incident that changes their entire relationship, existence, and physical form. Now, it’s looking like Neon will be the distributor to bring this good time to horror fans, as Deadline reports that, after “a days long bidding battle,” Neon is close to securing the worldwide rights to the film. WME Independent has been fielding offers from interested distributors ever since Together‘s premiere screening on the 26th, and Deadline reports that all of the major buyers of indie fare were in the mix.
