Pitaya Entertainment (“Pitaya”), one of the leading global Spanish-language podcast networks, and TVNotas, the number one entertainment media company in Mexico, have signed a major new strategic alliance for the production and distribution of podcasts.

This ambitious project kicks off with the launch of two TVNotas shows in podcast versions: “El mitangrit de Horacio” and “Chismecito pa’ llevar”. Audiences will have free access to the podcasts produced by TVNotas on all the major podcast streaming platforms, such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Amazon Music, as well as on the Pitaya website (pitaya.fm) and on YouTube.

“El Mitangrit de Horacio” releases new episodes every Thursday at 8 pm (Cdmx time). MEXICO CITY -- Laura Zapata, one of Mexican pop singer Thalia's two sisters kidnapped last month, has been released. Federal District Attorney General Bernardo Batiz, Mexico City's top prosecutor, confirmed Friday that Zapata was "safe and at home with family members," She was released late Thursday evening after being held for 18 days. Batiz said he had no information regarding Zapata's sister Ernestina Sodi, who was abducted with Zapata on Sept. 22 after they left a Mexico City theater where Zapata was appearing in a play. Kidnappers set a $1 million ransom for the release of the two sisters, according to Shanik Berman, a close friend of the family. Thalia's husband is Sony Music chairman Tommy Mottola.
